Schulman Vein and Laser Center Reviews 

I searched for a vein specialist to help with a long bulging vein in the back of my leg. I found Long Island Varicose Vein Specialist and contacted them on their website to have a phone consult. Dr. Schulman called me personally and answered all my questions. I made an appointment and had treatment the same day. Please know that when you go, you should bring topics of conversation because Dr. Schulman will ask you to talk throughout the treatment so come up with some challenging topics 😀 He is gentle and kind. The staff were also very sweet and welcoming and I felt very comfortable with them. The treatment itself took a short amount of time with minimal pain. My results were so much better than I imagined based on internet advice. The bulging of the vein was gone the next day and all I had was bruising which, after 10 days was mostly gone. The follow up appointment was quick and Dr. Sculman sped up the healing process by drawing some blood from the site. I was wearing shorts after 10 days. I haven’t worn shorts in years!! I am so happy with the results and will go back for my other veins this fall. Thank you to the entire staff for great care and a renewed sense of confidence!

I wanted to write about the positive experiences and results I’ve obtained from going to Dr. Schulman’s vein And laser center in Commack. I had the worst veins on both legs which consisted of a bulging, huge vein on the back of my right leg and so many spider veins all over my legs and even sides of my feet. I would never wear shorts or short dresses due to my unsightly legs. Forget about wearing a bathing suit as well. Summers were so uncomfortable for me as I had to wear pants to hide my veins. Dr. Schulman immediately makes you feel comfortable due his friendly demeanor as he talks to you while he does the injections , which I thought would be painful and were not ! And I had so many injections ! I had to go for a few visits since I had so many veins that had to be treated. My legs now look amazing !! I can’t wait to go purchase shorts, dresses, and bathing suits too. I can enjoy the summers now. I should have went to Dr. Schulman years ago. He is an expert in this field and is the best. He really has changed my quality of life !

First place I’ve gone where I actually see results! I finally feel like there’s hope for my critical situation. I have had spider veins since a teen. It got to the point where they looked like road maps, there were so many. But Dr. Schulman has been treating them over a few months now and I see excellent improvements. I will continue to come here until they are all gone! I’ve been to two other well known doctors and did not see results at all, and got injected all over. Here it’s a few injections, major improvements. The staff here are all very nice too. Appointments are easy to make and wait time is very limited. Thank you so much Dr. Schulman. For the second time in five years I was the grateful recipient of injections for varicose and spider veins of my legs. Both times have been clear winners. As I live over an hour and a half away, I must schedule it at times that work for me and the the Schulman Vein and Laser Center has been very accommodating. Each of these treatments has been highly successful and I can only say that their technique of standing for the injections, as well as the ACCURACY of the injections has paid off immeasurably. I have tried other practitioners near me and I can honestly say that none of them has the success rate that the Schulman Center does.

I have a varicose vein on the back of my calf that had been bothering me for a few years. It was itching and burning and seemed to be irritated by anything that touched it, so I finally gave in and started looking for a place to get it treated. It seems that there are vein clinics on just about every street corner these days, but I'm a bit older and just not comfortable with the bigger practices. I wanted something more personal, a smaller, more established practice with lots of experience treating the specific problem I had, where doctors do all the treatments, and a place where everybody literally "knows your name." It's a little intimidating visiting a new doctor, but the Schulman Vein and Laser Center really delivered on all the items on my medical wishlist - doctors who look at you when you speak, take all the time you need with them and answer all your questions, a staff that's friendly and professional, and an encouraging but realistic assessment of the patient's condition. My treatment so far has been with injections, and while they're not completely ouchless, any discomfort is very minor and I go back to my daily activities right away. I'm seeing a big difference from when I first started; in fact, there was improvement after only one treatment. The itching and burning are gone, and everything is looking even better as we go along. I'm pleased with my choice and glad I have these guys in my corner.

I saw Dr. Schulman for vein treatment twice this summer, and I couldn't be happier with my treatment and results. I've also seen Dr. Schulman over 10 years ago for vein treatment that rendered excellent results. It is very apparent that this doctor cares about his patients, taking time to explain the procedure that will take place as well as possible results. In total, I've seen Dr. Schulman about six times for treatment and I had experienced positive results with every treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Schulman; he is a warm, caring physician who offers care of the utmost quality.

I was very happy when a friend of mine recommended Schulman vein and laser center to me and set up an appointment for a consultation. I have been receiving injections for my varicose veins since March and I am thrilled with the results. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Schulman has a wonderful way of putting you at ease and clearly explains each step of the procedure. I have found it easy to schedule an appointment and I am pleased to say that the visible changes in my legs are the evidence that make me glad that I am doing this. I would recommend going in for a consultation if you have vein issues.

I have been a patient of Schulman Vein and Laser Center for years. I had bad issues with varicose veins and spider veins. Not only were they ugly but some painful. The result was a miracle for me. Instead of covering my legs with pants or long skirts, now I'm free to wear what I want without embarrassment. I would highly recommend them! It's a quick process with amazing results.

Hello. I started with the Schulman Vein and Laser Center 12 years ago for treatment/injections for my very ugly, and very bumpy varicose veins on my left leg with Dr. Lee Schulman - Commack Office. I must tell you, my experience was wonderful. I thought, yeah, this will never work for the type of varicose veins I inherited. Boy was I surprised. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I'd ever have a smooth leg ! By the way, my left leg is still smooth and varicose veins free after all these years, The injections were great - no pain at all, didn't even feel when my leg was being injected either. Dr, Schulman and staff were excellent. They welcome you like family. Caring, helpful, professional and trustworthy. I was explained the procedure ahead of time by Dr. Schulman in a way that I actually understood. Dr. Schulman even called me the next day like he said we would to see how I was doing. He did !! Wow, a phone call from a doctor. So here we are 2017, I decided to return to the Schulman Vein and Laser Center in Commack to begin treatment/injections on the right leg to get rid of those ugly, bumpy varicose veins. The staff and Dr. Schulman welcomed me once again as if I never left. The injections still are great and do not hurt nor do you feel them. And again, as is policy, Dr. Schulman called me the next day to see how I was doing. Its wonderful to have a doctor you can trust. Anyone who is unsure or on the fence about having this treatment/injections for their varicose veins need not be. Go and see for yourself how super your legs will look after treatment/injection. I had a fantastic experience! The treatment was painless, went fast and the results were amazing! Dr. Schulman and his staff are so nice. The next morning I woke up to find fading of the ugly spider veins that I have had my entire adult life! I am looking forward to wearing shorts agian this summer!

Dr. Schulman and his staff at the Sculman Vein Center are very kind and caring and do their utmost to make the patient feel welcome and at ease. The injections aren't painful and there is no downtime afterwards. Dr. Schulman is very knowledgable about veins and will work with your insurance company to apply for any available coverage. He and his staff work very well together during the treatments and he even calls you personally the day after the first treatment to see how you are feeling.

My husband and I both have been going to Dr. Lee Schulman, we are very satisfied with his work. He does an excellent job and has an excellent staff working with him. Would definitely recommend him for any vein problems.

I made an appointment with Schulman Vein & Laser Center because I made the mistake of having another doctor (attempt) to treat my spider veins....I knew something was wrong right away because my legs felt tight & were swollen for days after the procedure. I was left with several big red dots on my legs & still had spider veins. After my appointment at Schulman Vein & Laser Center I felt absolutely no discomfort & when I took the bandages off later that day my legs already looked 100% better. I will never make that mistake again!! There is no better place to go than Schulman Vein & Laser Center for amazing results, excellent care, a great staff, & an endless supply of candy!!!!

I have been coming to Dr. Martin Schulman for more than 30 years. He is the best specialist for vein treatment. I am very satisfied with his work and expertise. I recommend anyone who needs to visit a vein specialist to come straight here! His son, Dr. Lee Schulman, has taken after his father's footsteps and is also a vein specialist. I have nothing but good things to say. I have been here for treatment on my hands and legs and have seen great results!

I am a longtime patient of the Schulman Vein and Laser Center. I have been to both their Commack and Manhasset offices on and off through the years. During my visits, Dr Schulman and his staff have been professional and always address all my questions and concerns happily. All the tests and procedures were explained very clearly. I have gotten the injection treatment for my leg veins which is relatively painless. I am so happy with the results and always amazed that there is no down time!

Schulman Vein and Laser Center has a very personable staff. Dr. Schulman is thorough and always explains exactly how each procedure will be completed. He has treated both my wife and I through injection therapy. The office staff members are also very knowledgeable and friendly. Each visit is always a positive experience.

I discovered Dr Schulman's Vein and Laser Center online about 8 years ago. After much frustration of not getting the results I wanted, I decided to give him a try. I live at the Jersey shore and it takes me almost 2 hours to reach his office on Long Island and between 2 and 2 1/2 hours to return home...depending on traffic. But he is worth every mile! I have been to other vein doctors in the past and looked for locals, but he is definitely the best at what he does and definitely worth the traffic jams that come to a crawl! He treated my hands, arms and legs and results of his work were amazing! I continue to go back for the unwanted new veins that show up in my legs. My mother had horrible varicose veins and she died of congestive heart failure. So this is something I will always keep up with. Also, there aren't many doctors that I know of that treat the hands and arms as he does. His work is amazing!! He knows what he is doing because he specializes in veins only....just as his website states. He and his staff are so kind and patient. I only wish he had a center closer to me in NJ. Hmmm...give a thought or two Dr. Schulman.

Dr. Schulman is an outstanding doctor,Amazing a wonderful Doctor with a kind bedside manner. From the first visit to the office, I felt comfortable. The staff was welcoming, and Mrs. Naviita is great person. Dr. Schulman carefully observes and tests to determine the appropriate treatment, explains the treatment every step of the way - patiently answering all questions, listening to concerns, and assuaging fears, and administers almost painless treatment with expertise and a great sense of humor. I have had three treatments so far and already I feel a difference in my legs. I'm super happy, I really recommend him, he is the best Doctor I meet. God bless him and his staff.
