They are unprofessional
They are unprofessional. I asked about HRT did blook work and was ineligible. They charged me anyway and said I was eligible for something I never asked for. Took me many emails to get my money back. Then they charged me for weight loss inquiry before I even received blood work so I asked for my money back and was told yes by one person then told no by another. Now I have to fight to get my money
They are going to charge you for everything and it is a massive money grab they don't care about their clients

Science and Humans is a pioneer /…
Science and Humans is a pioneer / leader in the area of bhrt. Abida Dhukai is an extremely highly educated professional with a natural passion in women’s health and helping one woman at a time. She’s simply a beautiful angel with the softest calmest beautiful voice and natural caring and inviting personality. I asked endless questions despite my highly anxious rushed nature and there was not one question she couldn’t answer. I have never had any medical professional be as attentive and as caring about my physical and mental well being as
Abida Dhukai. She is Canada’s Dr. Mary Claire. Additionally the entire staff is calm, caring, polite, educated, and knowledgeable and helpful regarding my medical file with S&H and they get back to me as early as possible with a resolution to any issue I had. There maybe new and similar organizations dealing with bhrt and other women’s health but S&H is hands down the best, in every single area; m the most effective and efficient from my first interaction by contacting them, to receiving my blood tests results from the blood requisition, that they immediately email to you, to the consultation appointment with a professional RN, to getting all my required bhrt meds in my hands. I’m telling you literally within days. I owe everything to S&H and Abida Dhukai. You have changed my life!
Incredible service and knowledgeable
Incredible service and knowledgeable, friendly confident practitioners!
Not a great experience, they charge you regardless of test results.
I had the blood test. I read that if I was eligible for TRT then there would be $150 charge. They charged the $150 so I assumed that I was eligible but when speaking to the nurse she said my testosterone was within normal levels. Seemed a little weird to me. Nothing abnormal at all with any of my bloodwork. Seems they just charge that fee regardless. Cash grab I guess. I wouldn’t have minded paying it if there was an issue.
The estriol cream is a total money…
The estriol cream is a total money grab. I tried several times to inquire about the costs of the cream and insurance coverage/direct billing but was given vague answers. I paid the 25$ dollars but did not hear anything back for over a week. Finally the pharmacy contacted me (they at least were helpful) and informed me that insurance does not cover compounded medications that are for cosmetic purposes and that a three months supply of the cream would cost me 230$. As well, Science and Humans made an error on the prescription and added Tretinoin in it even though I specifically said in the health questionnaire that I did not want it included in the preparation. Because of this, the pharmacy had to cancel the prescription because they were not able to adjust it. Waiting to hear back regarding next steps. Altogether a terrible experience that feels purposefully vague and shady. Will not do business with this company again and will not recommend.

Feedback & Request for Clarity…
Feedback & Request for Clarity Regarding Treatment and Costs
I want to start by saying I understand this is a private clinic and I’ve found the services helpful when I’ve been able to afford them. However, my recent experience has left me frustrated, confused, and feeling unsupported — especially during a time when I couldn’t work and needed help the most.
Once I had a gap in income, everything seemed to be put on hold without clear communication. My treatment was effectively cancelled, and I had no idea how to proceed. I couldn’t refill my prescription, and when I tried, I was told I needed to speak to a doctor. But then the doctor’s side said it was cancelled because I didn’t renew — a frustrating loop where I didn’t know what step I missed or how to fix it. This lack of clarity pushed me into unsafe alternatives just to continue treatment.
Right now, there is no clear, step-by-step guide for patients on how to maintain treatment once it begins. That’s where I think the clinic is falling short — especially for people who don’t understand medical or billing jargon.
Here are a few things that would help a lot:
• A simple treatment roadmap:
• When and how often prescriptions need to be refilled.
• When and how to book follow-ups.
• How often bloodwork is required and how to book it.
• What happens if payment is delayed or missed.
• A clear breakdown of costs:
• What exactly does ”$200 TRT – Recurring” mean?
• Is that for medication, lab tests, a doctor’s time, a follow-up appointment, or just writing the prescription?
• How often is that $200 charged — every month, every 8 weeks?
• Simplified, plain-language communication for patients who struggle with medical terminology or vague billing phrases.
It often feels like if you can’t pay immediately, you’re left behind — no support, no clarity, no follow-up. I understand this is a business, but patients deserve to know exactly what they’re paying for, how often, and what steps they need to take to safely continue their treatment. Right now, everything feels too vague, and that’s dangerous when it comes to people’s health.
I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously, not as a complaint but as a genuine request to improve patient care and communication.
Thank you.
Great experience
The nurse practitioner was knowledgeable and kind. All of my questions were answered and I was able to make a decision on the best course of action for my weight-loss journey.

This is absolutely the worst service I…
This is absolutely the worst service I have ever used. First I had to contact their customer support just to remind them that they hadn't sent me a blood requisition form. I got the form at the cost of a dollar hence the two stars. I was not informed that I would be receiving a bill for $200 and before receiving the invoice for $200 they had already tried to Bill my credit card without informing me. I tried contacting their customer service support number several times and still have not gotten a response in regards to the reason why I should pay them $200. So I am not pleased with this company they do not have clear communication I should not have had to remind them to send me a blood requisition form. And it is there duty to inform anyone that is going to go get blood work that they're going to be receiving a $200 bill for services they haven't yet provided. Therefore I feel I shouldn't have to pay a bill because I haven't even seen a doctor yet I haven't spoken to a pharmacist nothing they haven't prescribed me anything. I am extremely disappointed with this company.
