WORST experience - the bus never came to pick us up
Absolutely awful, our bus never arrived at our pick up spot in Crete for our trip to Santorini, so when another hour had passed we eventually gave up on waiting for it. When we called the call-center the woman answering, apparently couldn’t get me in contact with the bus or anyone who could help. She simply said “I’m sorry I can’t help you” and rushed to hang up on me. 560 euro spent on absolutely nothing, and it’s outrageous that the company doesn’t have any contact with the busses, when they themselves book them. I cannot recommend it to ANYONE, this is probably the worst service I’ve ever experienced.
Don't go with them
They claim to be handicapped friendly, but only elevator to ground floor, then you have to climb 22 steps to get to your seat, only to find out that wc is only on the ground floor, so you can't eat or drink as it's impossible to go to wc
I just want to say first out I avoid…
I just want to say first out I avoid writing a negative review but with Seajets I really feel the need to. Their customer support team is abysmal. I understand English is not their first language. They completely messed up our booking to car to no car. As soon we emailed them about a complain form they didn’t respond to us and we had to send it again. The ferry itself, didn’t get the update with over a weeks notice. We are now owed over 150€ due to their incompetence and lack of communication. I would not recommend

Our trip on Seajets SupExtremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Priceercat boat from…
Our trip on Seajets Supercat boat from Santorini to Mykonos was incredibly disappointing and far from what you'd expect when traveling between two of the most upscale destinations in Greece.
First of all, the boat is dated, cramped, and frankly uncomfortable. It felt more like a neglected ferry from decades past than a service that justifies a €90 ticket for a trip under two hours. The seating was tight, the interior poorly maintained, and the overall experience had none of the standards you'd associate with either EasyJet or these iconic islands.
For that price, you'd expect at least a clean, modern vessel and a smooth, enjoyable ride. Instead, the Supercat felt like a cost-cutting afterthought. It’s disappointing that such a subpar service is what connects two of the most beautiful and high-end destinations in the Aegean.
Greece deserves better. Tourists deserve better. I would not recommend this boat to anyone, and I sincerely hope Seajets reevaluates the quality of their fleet for these popular routes.
Amazing experience after a stupid mistake
Took a day trip from Skiathos where we were staying to Alonsissos on a seajets ferry ( 2nd time of using seajets from Skiathos ) unfortunately on our return trip we failed to disembark at Skiathos, not sure how but we did. I approached the reception desk to be told we were going to mainland Greece and there was no return ferry to Skiathos until the next morning. The man in charge at the reception desk onboard the ferry was amazing, he sorted us somewhere to stay and even took us there, the lady at the place we stayed even sorted us a taxi for our return to the port. I cannot praise the seajets gentleman enough for what he did for us, what could have been very upsetting turned into a nice experience. Thank you Sea Jets, you're lucky to have such a wonderful dedicated and kind member of your team in charge
Non-existent customer service
The ferry service from Piraeus to Syros is consistently delayed, making the advertised duration highly misleading. More critically, the customer service is virtually non-existent. If you're hoping to change your tickets, follow up on a query, or get assistance of any kind, you're likely to be left completely unsupported. Travelers should be aware of these issues before booking.
I paid the premium for a first-class…
I paid the premium for a first-class seat expecting a quieter lounge and better service. Instead, my experience was closer to economy with a surcharge:
• Constant AC noise – the unit above my seat rattled for the entire crossing.
• Water dripping from the vent – the armrest and seat cushion were damp within 20 minutes.
• Crew response – friendly but uselessibwas offered relocation but to a lower class.
• Poor beverage selection – and a rip-off. By the time the trolley reached us, every reasonably priced Greek drink (local beer, house wine, soft drinks) was “sold out.” Only the most expensive imported brands were left. It felt less like scarcity and more like upselling. For a premium lounge, that borders on a scam.
Positives
• On-time departure and arrival.
• Public areas looked clean, and the Wi-Fi worked most of the way.
Bottom line: I paid nearly double the economy fare and spent half the trip standing at the café bar to escape dripping water—then overpaid for basic refreshments. Until SeaJets fixes the AC, stocks the bar properly and empowers crew to reseat passengers, I can’t recommend paying extra for first class. Economy passengers seemed to get the same ride without the added frustration.
Seajets non responsive
Our Seajets trip from Sifnos to Piraeus was cancelled due to weather — understandable. What’s not acceptable is the complete lack of communication or support that followed. We had a flight to catch the next morning from Athens, so we booked an alternative 2am sailing with Anemos, which was not only reliable but also half the price.
Since then, I’ve emailed Seajets twice and called five times to request a refund. No replies, and each phone call ends with someone hanging up. It’s inexcusable. I understand weather disruptions, but ignoring customers and refusing to engage on refunds is unacceptable.
Absolutely Disastrous Experience with…
Absolutely Disastrous Experience with Seajets – Avoid at All Costs
Our recent experience with Seajets was a complete nightmare from start to finish, and I feel compelled to warn others.
We had booked a direct ferry from Athens (Piraeus) to Koufonisia, departing at 7:00 AM and scheduled to arrive at 12:00 PM. The trip was important — we were visiting the island for just one day to view a potential wedding venue.
However, in Paros, the Seajets captain hit the concrete dock, damaging the ferry. We were forced to disembark with no information or guidance. The port was chaotic, passengers were left confused, and Seajets staff were nowhere to be found. After waiting around in uncertainty, we were finally packed onto another ferry and arrived at 3:30 PM, losing half of our only day on the island.
Later that night at 11:00 PM, we received a message that our return ferry was cancelled due to weather, with no suggested alternatives, no plan, and no support. To make things worse, they sent the message after their customer service center had closed, leaving us completely stranded. We emailed them immediately — but received no response at all.
The following morning, we went to the Seajets office hours before opening and waited in line for three hours, only to be told the ferry for the next day was already sold out. The only remaining option was to pay out of pocket for another ferry (from a different company) — a 9-hour journey back to Athens. As a result, we missed our evening flight, had to book a new one for the next morning, pay for a hotel in Athens, and spend money on airport transfers — all of which could have been avoided if Seajets had shown even a basic level of competence or customer care.
In short, Seajets is disorganized, unresponsive, and completely indifferent to their passengers. Their customer service is nonexistent, and they offer no support when things go wrong — which, judging by this experience, happens often.
Whoever is managing Seajets should seriously consider resigning or overhauling the entire operation. Until that happens, avoid this company at all costs.
First ferry from Mykonos to Paros was…
First ferry from Mykonos to Paros was great, even though it had a delay of 25min. Second ferry from Paros to Milos had a few hundred people in a space with no AC, was delayed 30min with no warning and travelled for 20min longer that mentioned on the ticket. For €80 it wasn’t a pleasant trip.
A total rip-off
A total rip-off. Extremely overpriced and unfriendly staff. Students have to pay a surcharge if they're not studying in Greece. Disrespectful staff and not worth the money.
Departure delayed
Departure delayed, no reason given, seats allocated in different rows… terrible avoid at all cost!
Bad Check In
Trip on June 5, 2025, from Milos to Syros, departure at 8 a.m.
We purchased both of our tickets the day before. I presented my official disability ID upon purchase and, as always, received a disability discount.
Upon boarding, the doorman refused to accept my card and demanded my passport.
On the ship, I was called upon and rudely and maliciously accused.
I demanded written confirmation that the doorman would not accept my official ID.
The doorman then inquired about my identity and then accepted my ID, all very unfriendly.
Alonissos to Skopelos and then Skopelos…
Alonissos to Skopelos and then Skopelos to Skiathos collection of voucher from port office in Skopelos, staff very helpful and very knowledgeable.
The ferries and staff on them also very good, definitely recommend.
Oh boy
Oh boy, where to start. This voyage was a complete dog’s breakfast from the beginning and I literally could not wait to get off. Frankly there is too much wrong to list about this service, but in summary: Total Hunger Games chaos in the boarding process (literally the Bangladesh government would order an inquiry into this company if operating there), seats not numbered in any discernible pattern, when the staff are not being outright aggressive (whist boarding everyone like cattle), they are totally indifferent to any customer request. I truly fear for anyone having to abandon ship in an emergency. The staff would all run for their lives and the customers can fight it out for survival. Do not use SeaJets under any circumstances - you have been warned. I caught a Golden Star ferry 2 days ago and it was like the Queen Mary by comparison.
Horrible
We were in the port right on time, bit the ferry was 30 minutes late. We weren't notified that it would be late, so we were just waiting there. When we finally got on the ferry the whole crew was stressing so much. They practically shoved us in the ferry and we left the port before anyone checked our tickets. Luggage was just dropped in a rack hoping we would find it back after the trip.
Covid tickets gone / expired; no refund
To make it short:
- we purchased tickets to travel before covid
- covid happened, asked for a refund, offered an extension till 2022. We agreed since the situation was bad for all companies and we tried to be decent.
- we never claimed / consumed the tickets till 2025, i know we should have taken some action earlier.
- got in contact again with the company since we just lost the refund & tickets, and this didn’t cost them anything.
- the answer was nothing they can do.
I know we should have reacted earlier, but we thought the tickets are in good hands and that the company will be decent in return too, but it’s not the case.
Next time, I’ll definitely avoid this company, even though i never experienced it but many bad reviews about that already.
The most sinister, decayed, exploitative and morally corrupted companies in Greece.
One of the worst companies in operation in Greece. The owner(s) demands staff members to work a minimum 10 hour shifts, which often become 12-14 hours (!). The wages are ridiculous and they have conveniently exploited their staff for almost 2 decades as they are the only fast-ferries company which reaches so many island locations in Greece. The profits of this company are extreme, (together with the prices onboard their ferries), and in general, this company represents the most sinister, decayed, exploitative and morally corrupted companies in operation in Greece.
