3 Selle Royale saddles and each split in half within 6 months of use - all used correctly and purchased from an authorised retailer - however the retailer closed down so I had no alternative but to contact Selle Royal direct - if I thought the dreadfully constructed saddles were bad enough getting customer services to deal with the warrenty claim was just the start of my woes - delayed replies, dragging out the claim to telling ME to have patience AND NOW - complete silence - saddles unfit for purpose so having to go to litigation and compile a report for Trading Standards - disgusting and unprofessional company AVOID AT ALL COSTS

A saddle broke and I really needed a good one to replace it but mine was no longer in production. Customer service answered within 2 days what type of saddle would suit me best. Good quality products.

No clue how to get in touch with the company. Logged a ticket twice (with a week in between) but they never came back to me. Not even getting a confirmation mail of the receipt of the complaint.
The saddle started leaking on the bottom where the glue of the seam let go. This is within the two year guarantee period.
Just annoying and unprofessional.

It's possible Selle Royal makes seats that last longer than mine, but it's also apparent that quite a few people who purchased their seat have had the exact same problem - the seat literally cracks underneath across the middle, which makes the seat potentially dangerous due to collapsing downward and it certainly renders it useless.

Contacting Selle Royal triggered a return customer service message saying you have to buy *direct* from them to receive any warranty otherwise, go talk to Amazon about your problems. And wouldn't you know it, Amazon makes no provisions for dealing with a product that they consider to have only a 12 month warranty, even though Selle Royal claims it has a 2 year warranty for manufacture defects (they don't consider and improperly made seat a manufacture defect).

Just be aware, most people review a product like this in the first 30 days so we're unlikely to see how products like this wear. And lastly, the Selle Royal seat was purchased to replace a 20 year old WTB seat that was just barely showing signs of tearing on the seat cover. It never showed cracking and potentially dangerous subpar engineering methods.

Do not trust this company. They take your money but do not send any item. Just emails with some standard text where they tell they are delayed because of a new logistic system. This is the worst experience I ever had with a company. They don't answer on phone or on emails I send, just some standard text.

Selle Royal has the best customer service one can ever imagine. Twice in recent times they had replaced 2 saddles that broke down after a brief usage. Their contact is friendly and very sympathetic. Without any discussion they have replaced both models and sent it to the Netherlands from their headquarters in Italy. Quiet remarkable and Bravo!
