Where to begin…. very poor customer service.

Where to begin….
Ordered 1st November, eventually arrived 17th December, 32 working days later. Used 15 working day delivery as assumed I had plenty of time before Christmas. By then I had sent numerous messages, sometimes waiting many days for replies, and in the end I had to resort to ordering from another supplier on Etsy. No problems with them at all. Yet Setlist claim they are “the only professional setlist printers”, clearly not the case in more ways than one. Tracking number not recognised. I had to visit local sorting office and contact Royal Mail customer care. Setlist seem to take very little responsibility for their lack of not meeting the delivery deadline or issuing refunds. There’s always claims of technical difficulties, being very busy or being understaffed. Not the customers’ problem. Maybe they should start listening to the 40% of customers who have left negative reviews on this site rather than telling these people that they “don’t take Trust Pilot too seriously”. The stress and frustration has been overwhelming at times and the final message today that seemed to expect me to return the setlist before I got a refund was the last straw. I can only strongly advise against using Setlist and for them to start taking accountability instead of considering themselves to be above any criticism.
Update:
Returned item at own expense 16th January and was told refund would be issued. Nothing. Advised by Citizens Advise to send a formal email quoting the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 regarding the law on refunds and giving them 14 days to respond. CAB said they would be reporting the company to Trading Standards. Nothing. In the end resorted to raising a dispute with my credit card and they refunded on my account. Really annoys me that Setlist have therefore got away with it, in effect stealing my money. And I can see I am not the only one. I can only hope that Trading Standards will catch up with them.

Ordered 2 items on Oct 24th on a free…

Ordered 2 items on Oct 24th on a free 15 day delivery. Nov 12th apparently shipped via Evri with no tracking given. It's now day 37 , Jan 9th and still no goods....during this time I was told in a passing fb comment they have resent my items in Dec in the post...still waiting. I was also told in a passing fb comment my order would be put down for a refund as apparently according to their website they refund even if orders are late, but I couldn't find that statement on their webpage. Still waiting on a refund as well as my goods.
My comments on their fb page are being ignored and/taken down!! From what I've read on their responses to their unhappy customers, they come across quite rude and arsey like it's our fault we're unhappy that our items we have ordered for Xmas presents haven't arrived. I've emailed asking for a refund as I'm sick to death of waiting and don't hold any hope of getting my items which were a very sentimental gift and the moment has passed to give them. I've just opened a case via PayPal as luckily I had a gut instinct to pay via them just incase things went wrong and I could be out of pocket, which it has. This company has taken on way too much that they can handle resulting in extremely poor customer service. I won't be ordering from them again, lots of complaints on fb about goods not being up to scratch and they're also being removed or ignored , do not recommend! Stay clear

Order only partly received

Order only partly received. Poor customer service in responding to emails. Requested refund but emails are now being ignored. I have been chasing since October so Christmas holidays can’t be used as an excuse.

It’s a shame as the part of the order that was received was very good quality. I don’t know what is going wrong for this company, possibly grown bigger than they can manage.

The resolution isn’t to alienate customers more by responding to reviews in a petty manner. Just apologise and put things right!

Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m really sorry about the trouble with your order. We’re working through a lot of inquiries right now but are doing our best to sort everything as quickly as we can.

I also wanted to address Trustpilot. Honestly, it’s not something we focus on or take too seriously. The platform has loads of reviews that aren’t accurate – things like orders delivered to neighbors or stories missing key details. We also don’t ask customers to leave reviews there, and we ignore the constant emails Trustpilot sends us offering to remove negative ones for a fee.

We ship thousands of orders every month, and while some negative reviews pop up, I can promise you that they rarely tell the full story. We’re happy for people to share their thoughts, but if something isn’t true, we will respond to set the record straight. Far too many times we've jumped through absolute hoops to deal with what are essentially, lies - we don't have the staff numbers to deal with it. We sent out nearly 40,000 orders in 12 months, we have 206 Trustpilot Reviews, most of them positive. We would drive ourselves insane (or pay Trustpilot thousands) trying to deal with it, we're a small business and have taken the stance that we aren't participating in the racket :)

I ordered 2 Taylor Swift mugs in…

I ordered 2 Taylor Swift mugs in November. Emailed numerous times and now being totally ignored when I’ve asked for a refund. I’m going to report this company as a scam tomorrow with my bank. After reading the reviews it seems they have made hundreds of pounds out of people and not sent what’s been ordered. Disgusting. I’ll be reporting

I ordered a mug for a Christmas present…

I ordered a mug for a Christmas present in 18th December. It stated it would arrive in time for christmas.
Nothing arrived so I emailed help@setlist on 28th December, no reply.
Sent a message on fb messenger, had a automated response to say if it was due to a missing item to email
info@setlist. Email sent on Friday, (yes I am aware it's been the weekend) but still no reply.
I have no faith that any response will arrive, luckily paid through PayPal so raised a problem and waiting for a refund.
Wished I'd checked trustpilot before I ordered

Awful Service

Ordered a mug in 19/11/24, still not received on 6/01/25. Absolutely rubbish customer service. Telling other customers in the same boat that they’re still off for Christmas is downright rude and a poor excuse when the goods were ordered months ago!!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

EDIT The reply about having Christmas off misses the point entirely, I emailed you way before Christmas chasing up a mug that was ordered in November. Utterly pathetic and quite frankly shows how unprofessional you are. An apology for late goods is not too much to ask. Idiots!

Sorry for having Xmas off Tracey :)

We do make a point of communicating with our customers like human beings - which is why we don’t really bother with things like this - as fortunately we have a brilliant customer base who appreciate being spoken to like normal people! But we did indeed take the last few days of the year off, this was after working every day over Xmas including Xmas day 😅

I am very disappointed

I am very disappointed. I ordered in November, received an email November 25th saying items dispatched- never received them despite payment taken then after emailing several times asking for a refund I’m still waiting. Will never order from here again.

Would have given zero stars if I could

Order was sent incorrectly in August and despite many promises (with lengthy waits between emails) the order has still not been corrected.
Poor service from some chancers playing shops!

Their reply to my review is also unhelpful so shows I was right with my comments.

If it was a legit company they would have made good on their promise to rectify or offer a refund like other people below.

In reply:

I have put the email chain below. You never sent anything I still have access to mail at old address and nothing has arrived and I never gave you the new address so don't discredit honest feedback, just do better by your customers.

Hey Robyn, we’re not going to reply to this for obvious reasons. Although the edit is very funny! We’re a small business who deal with every single order ourselves (nearly 40,000 in our first 12 months) we will not be held to ransom via trustpilot, I’ve followed up on what’s gone on and of course - there is far far more to it than what you’ve said (usually the case) several orders sent, addresses changed - responses where people have gone so far out of their way to help.

There has been an issue - but your order was sent THREE times, which would be some scam eh!

I’m sorry that during your change of address, the Xmas rush, and you accidentally being sent the same item twice - that your scam alarm has gone off 🚨 and there has, like I said admittedly been an issue (which does happen and is always fixed) but it doesn’t mean that we’re going to be held to ransom regardless; the truth would have been enough it’s a shame you felt the need to lie :)

Very disappointing

Very disappointing. I order on 17/12/24 and paid £3.99 for guaranteed Xmas delivery but it has not arrived. I have emailed and no response and no reply to an Instagram message. The website offers no contact number. I’m not sure what to do at this point.

Still not received my order which was…

Still not received my order which was placed in November! I have emailed the company multiple times and gotten no response. I then messaged on Instagram and got an unprofessional response and still nothing was done to get me a refund. Wouldn’t recommend using this company.

Avoid at all costs

I have emailed you many times on the address that I was originally given and no one has replied. What do you suggest I do if you won't reply to my emails?
Edit: still no reply to the many emails I have sent this company, ignore the comment below about 5 offers. They won't respond to my emails even though they have taken my money and not supplied the item.

No product and no communication

Placed my order in November and waited the specified timings before attempting to contact for an update. I have attempted to follow up since and requested a refund and still got nothing back. Since going back to the website, the product I ordered is no longer listed so really not sure what to think except I'm out of pocket. Terrible experience all round. Could have been solved with a bit of communication and better customer service.

Edit: So Setlist's reply here is telling me that it's not their fault that they haven't replied to my email query about not receiving my order, even though they've been supposedly active over the holidays, yet I see no evidence of that activity on their Instagram. I'm fully aware that when ordering from small businesses, you have to expect that things will take longer but this is ridiculous. Setlist already took my money weeks ago and I have had no communication about what is happening with my order. I got one automated email reply that essentially said don't email us because you're taking time out of us being able to process orders. And then nothing else when I requested a refund. To receive this reply here on Trustpilot is not a good look. Setlist might not be sure what happened but it is their job to figure it out. And for the record, money being taken and having no product to show for it and no communication on the matter is in fact, being out of pocket.

My item arrived damaged due to being poorly packaged. 5 emails and 2 social media messages later setlist did not respond at all and I ended up having to get a chargeback through my bank.

Avoid this company, broken promises and awful customer services

Ordered nearly a month before as they offered guaranteed delivery for christmas. Pathetic customer ato message basically says don't bother us as it stops us working!! Poor response also followed giving no clue as to delivery. 11am Xmas eve so doesn't look like order will arrive. Avoid this company, I always support small businesses but not when run by clueless people.

I haven't had any tracker or email from you telling me it's coming so let's see, either way I'll post again !!!

Order not received

Placed an order on 04/12/24. Got a confirmation email and nothing since. View order link in email does not work. This was for a birthday present and that has now passed so was hoping it would arrive for Christmas but doesn’t look likely to now. The website also appears not to be working correctly. Very disappointing.

Placed an order on the 31st of October

Placed an order on the 31st of October. Had an email on November 25th saying it had been dispatched and it gave a tracking number. Still haven't received anything, and the tracking info hasn't updated yet. I have asked for a refund which they have said they would sort out. I would rate them lower than 1 star if I could to be honest.
