Awful company. Please please do not sign up. Very poor service and they lock you into yearly contracts. They never come back
To you when you need assistance. Typical company that promises you everything to sign up just to take your money. We leave in 6 months and I cannot wait.

We had the pleasure of being trained by Fatima for both Fire Marshal and First Aid courses, and the experience was excellent. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the sessions both informative and easy to understand. Fatima's delivery was clear and practical, with real-life examples that helped us grasp the importance and application of the skills. She encouraged participation and made sure everyone felt confident by the end of the training. Highly recommend Fatima as a trainer – her professionalism and approachable manner made a real difference.

Rude auditor who clearly has a problem.
Please please please fact check everything they say as it’s not always right.
I’ve asked numerous times what there level four practitioner status equals too and will not get a straight answer.
Do not bother with the phone app it crashes and drains your battery, the portal is confusing to the point it’s laughable.
I have been audited by the real EHO 2 weeks ago with 5 stars but shield doubts their EHO validaty the fire brigade visit was smooth as ever but guess what shield doubted that as well. I honestly think they look and generate turmoil to make you want to keep spending money on a “ safe to trade “ sham. I know it’s a bit more relaxed here in Cornwall but we are not fools.

Tadas Plauska is extremely knowledgeable in the field and the training was very in depth.

We were recently given a very thorough first aid training session run by an extremely knowledgeable and personable trainer. There were plenty of opportunities to ask and be asked questions ourselves and to put into practice what we had learnt which made the session very interactive. Also kept to the timings well so the session ended by the time expected.

Really informative Course. Our instructor Tadas was great and guided us through all the information with ease. He kept us engaged with various different activities though out the 3 days of the course which was important as Food hygiene isn't the most exciting thing to learn - Good job Tadas !!

I have recently completed Level 4 Managing Food Safety in Catering. Shield Safety were able to offer a flexible learning option virtually over the course of two weeks. Tadas was great throughout, kept everyone engaged in the course and sharing some great experience and insights into advance food safety. Service provided by Shield Safety was excellent from booking until receiving exam results.

Amazing Experience and Great Institute for learning

Terrible service, or should I say total lack of service.
Being hounded with bills but received nothing in return, cancelled almost a year ago, but no replies to emails to confirm our cancellation.

Well what can I say
Looked carefully at a few companies and chose shield.
On reflection not my best choice. This is very time consuming and no helpful pointers at all once money has been paid, demanding actions and time scales after an audit leaves a feeling of bully boy tactics. Will be cancelling as soon as possible and choosing more wisely next time.

Just done level 3 food safety course dale slinger was the tutor very engaging speaker and tutor helped to get everyone engaging especially on the first dat when people are tired and just starting to get there brains going

Signed up and the onboarding was non existent.
The fire risk assessment was awful. A quick google search proved the recommendations wrong. Very cocksure attitudes when you ring them to complain. I have dip nebosch and they are telling me I am wrong on there 12 year out of date legislation. The RiskProof system is a minefield the app is a waste of time the “ back up” for accidents is evasive. It’s all the opposite of what was sold. 12 months and I’m not renewing.

Signed up for 3 years, slightly mis sold however I should have read the contract in more depth. System is over complicated and dated much more efficient and modern software for better prices out there. I must have had more account managers than hot meals in the last three years, they sent the wrong people to the wrong site on visits. Just a all round shambled that I will be glat to be leaving. If you get tied in to the contract there is no space for negotiations and if you dont email in time to cancell the contract they will auto renew. Be careful.

I have booked two training for the company and for both of them the process was smooth and easy. Thank you to the training team at shield safety for the cooperation and time taken to explain and the help given for organising the trainings.
