My first ever new bike purchase Happy New Bike Day
My first ever new bike purchase. Daniel
Flett (Triumph) hosted me. Nothing was too much trouble, from my road testing two of the Triumph touring bikes the Tiger 800 & the 900 Alpine edition. Went for the Tiger 900 option. Being short in the leg I opted for the low seat option. I also selected side panniers and upper crash protection bars.
Daniel kept me well informed of progress and delivery date which was precise.
On the actual day of acceptance, the Happy “New Bike Day Colin” with the bike undercover was a very nice touch. This was followed by an in depth familiarisation with the various functions of all the controls and switch buttons. A very thorough briefing.
Much appreciated by a nervous new owner.
Thankyou Daniel and Shirlaws for such a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

Shirlaws have always had a great name…
Shirlaws have always had a great name in the city. Their facilities are excellent & staff including reception are always friendly. On purchasing a new Triumph, Daniel has been excellent at processing the order and arranging delivery of the bike. Despite a small problem with the indicators, Rob fixed this timeously and Andy delivered the bike on time and as promised in his usual cheery fashion. Some of the big car dealers in the city should pays Shirlaws a visit to learn what customer service should be like!

24 month service/trade in.
Took my bike in for a 24 month service, Kawasaki Versys 1000, excellent throughout, they started the service on time and the service was detailed with a video from the technician. I thought this was excellent.
Whilst I waited I was looking at a trade in for my current bike against a Triumph street Triple RS, Dan and Mark were fantastic throughout. They did the very best to help me with everything that I needed. I will be definitely returning for a bike from these guys in the future due to the kind, professional and positive approach from the team. A true credit to all of the brands of motorcycle that Shirlaws sell and represent. Thank you.

My 2018 T120 Bonneville needed its first oil change under my ownership. I gave Shirlaws a phone to make sure they had everything I needed and were open on the bank holiday. I turned up the next day, having not actually ordered anything, and the oil and filter were at the parts desk waiting for me. They had also given me a sump plug washer which I had forgotten to ask for and they had written the torque value on the side of the box. Excellent customer service from the parts department. I will be back.

New KTM motorbike
was interested in a new KTM motorbike, read a few reviews and the new 1390 Super Adventure S seemed to tick all the boxes. Phoned Shirlaws to book a test ride and spoke to Daniel Flett and made arrangements.
On the day for the test ride Daniel gave me a quick overview of the bike controls (he was very knowledgeable on these), got the keys and was told "take as long as you like and see how you get on". Had a good hour for the test run and upon returning to Shirlaws I was totally hooked on the bike, only to be told I would have to wait 3 months before one became available. This is where Daniel really stepped up, they had one bike in the showroom and I could have that one now!
Great service and really helpful staff made buying my new bike a real treat.
