Both Pick up in Palermo and turn-in at Giardini Naxos were quick and efficient. The gang at the turn-in was great, cheerful and on time, even though they were busy, they thoroughly inspected the car and even gave us a ride up to Taormina for the same price as a taxi.

Everythink was ok. Fast customers service and good car. IT was noce experience.

Hello, I rented a car from you online for 3 days. I attach a confirmation of renting a car. I paid 445.09 PLN on 6.04.2026 together with full insurance. I attach a confirmation of payment. I picked up the car from the airport on 7.04.2026. You took my deposit of €385.89 at the airport. You gave me only €300.00 on 13.04.2026. I ask for an explanation and immediate refund of the remaining amount of € 85.88. I don’t understand how you charged me almost €86 more, you guys charged me almost double. I need this 86€ back and quick explanation from you. I may add I paid 445 polish zloty online so I paid before renting. I’m waiting for your response.

The good: the initial price looks competitive.... but it ends up far from what they charge. Everything else was a DISAPPOINTMENT.

From the moment you arrive at the counter, the staff's goal is to get rid of you as fast as possible. They rush you through a pile of papers to sign without properly explaining what you're agreeing to and what you're not. It's clearly a strategy so that when the final invoice arrives, you can't dispute anything because "you already signed."

The van was not clean at pickup: crumbs everywhere, clearly not properly prepared between rentals.

But what's truly infuriating is the final invoice. We were charged for:

— Road Assistance Plus, a service we never agreed to. In fact, at the counter they told us that a flat tyre was NOT covered — so we still don't know what this service was even supposed to include. We were billed for it anyway.

— The one-way drop-off fee (Naples → Palermo), which had already been paid at the time of booking. They charged it twice with no explanation.

— An airport surcharge of over €70 that nobody mentions at any point — not when booking, not when picking up the car. Springing a hidden fee of that size on customers is simply not acceptable.

— And the cherry on top: we were charged for "missing" fuel plus an extra service fee for them having refuelled the car. We filled the tank at a petrol station right before entering the airport, exactly as instructed. It is physically impossible to refuel inside an airport car park. They invented phantom litres to charge us not only for fuel that was never missing, but also for the "service" of adding it.

The final price ended up being significantly higher than expected, thanks to charges that were never clearly communicated.

I ignored the negative reviews thinking it was just bad luck for others. I regret it. Don't make the same mistake: do not book with this company. What looks cheap upfront will end up costing you far more once the hidden charges pile up.

Quick collection and return, friendly staff, good vehicle and good rate

The Sicily by Car staff at Milano Linate had clearly assured me that the car trip to Switzerland would be smooth and without any additional requirements. However, in Switzerland, the police stopped me because I didn't have a toll sticker in my car. As a result, I ended up paying approximately €269.30 in total – €200 for the fine and €40 for the toll sticker – and was taken to the police station to pay by card, which was a waste of time and stressful.

Seamless and easy

I rented a car from Rome Fiumicino Airport. We set off towards the Amalfi Coast. After about 100km the engine fault light came on and indicated a fuel supply fault. We had only rented the car for 2 days, so we were able to drive the car despite the fault. On the way back to the Rome Fiumicino Airport, we went to exchange the faulty car for another car at the Naples airport office. The replacement car arrived at the same time as I was standing at the office desk waiting for the replacement car. I was asked if this car is ok for me? I said, it didn't matter as long as we got back to Rome safely. In Naples they said we didn't need to inspect the replacement car and we could drive straight back. I asked separately if I could get the car's documents so I could inspect the vehicle and take photos of any new dents. I was told I didn't need this document and was told once again not to worry! Just drive to Rome with this car without any worries. When I arrived at the Fiumicino airport office in Rome, I was asked what this dent was on the front wheel arch. I said, I didn't know because I wasn't given the necessary documents to inspect the car. The inspector called the Naples office, where they claimed that I had received these documents. After that, I was accused of causing this dent during the 2-hour drive. I took in good nature the car to the nearest office to be sure, and then they accused me of causing the dent on another car. I felt very cheated. I cannot recommend this car rental company to anyone.

Good service, I recommand

Easy pick up and return. The car we had was not new but was clean inside and out. All in all a good experience.
