Back in January I was contacted by a “Brian/Bryan” from Silverlake about debt consolidation. The interaction with "Brian/Bryan" was absolutely great--but that was because I was in the position of needing help, of which he was appearing as if he was offering it. Upon discussing, I was told that the only option available to me was a debt settlement program that had connections to “government backing” to help and that the program was called “Resync”. I was told that my 5 credit/loan accounts (all 5 creditors being “first/primary tier”) combined would end up being $894 month for 60 months to resolve all of the accounts and that it would take about 1-2 months for the company to reach settlements. At the time of this call I was current with EVERY account having made all payments on time, but in order to be able to more easily deal with this debt and give myself more monthly flexibility, that this was the best option. I’ve been paying the amount to Resync every month. About 3 months in, I got a notice from Resync saying that 1 of the 5 accounts had reached a settlement, which was accepted (now mind you… since this “settlement”, Resync has only been sending them $100/month AND I’m still getting hit with late penalties and interest). It was only after the first 3 months that I learned that "Resync" is actually a completely separate company unaffiliated to Silverlake Financial. The other day I received another call from Resync with “great news” and that a 2nd account is ready to reach settlement and that “if I accept the settlement” I would need to pay an additional $300-$400/month to the $894 I already pay. This is COMPLETELY different and surprising and the service rep was unable to provide me with any sort of assistance or information or explanation. The only option was for the “team lead to give me a call”—which I agreed to & requested but have yet to receive even though it was supposed to be within 24 hours maximum.
This is NOTHING close to what I was told/explained back in January and I am in a significantly worse position now than 6 months ago after having paid Resync about $6,000. I’m so infuriated with this situation, especially with myself as it legitimately feels like I was lied to and here I am "left holding the bag". This is incredibly disappointing with both this entire situation and myself for listening.

I was contacted by them today about a loan and spent 30 minutes on the phone with them to be told that I qualify for a debt consolidation plan. They are not providing loans to anyone just a program that will not help me financially and negatively impact my credit score.

This is a SCAM. Mailer contains deceptive interest rates. You fill out an online form and it says "CONGRATULATIONS" you are prequalified. One of our specialists will contact you soon" - then they just push you into various debt settlement options. Complete scam preying on people with high credit card balances. Predatory and should be illegal.

My service representative, Kyle J, was very helpful throughout the entire process. Answered all my questions promptly and made himself available to chat when I had uncertainties. Explained the program and how it worked very thoroughly. Due to external circumstances, I had to cancel my plan. Even then, he was very attentive and made sure my exit from the program was seamless.

I trusted this company to help out, yes they got the settlement but to pay 2k every month for six months. That's just for one card, went to debt relief clinic and found out I was one step away from being garnished, and I didn't even know. No one told me about this. I filed for Chapter 7 and had to cut the program. I will not even get my monthly payments back. They send a mail stating it was a loan to pay off my debt, it isn't. So watch out, look at reviews and choose wisely.

I never answer spam calls, emails, or letters. However, today I received a letter in the mail to consolidate debt and decided to try it out. I'm glad I did because it's going to help me financially, emotionally, and mentally. My rep is Erick and it's because of his phone call, advice, and support that I decided to proceed. After the application and completion, it really feels like a higher power brought this to me in my time of need. Thank you.

I had mixed results with this company. My first experience was with a Brian he was professional and experienced in this category. Towards the end of our conversation he asked if I was interested in the debt consolidation program I was not and it ended on a good note. Unfortunately soon after and not leaving well enough alone a Kory Robertson continued to call me and finally I accepted and he passed me over to a different company named skyvault consulting group. My time was wasted and at work at that !

My experience with this company was not what I expected. When I signed up, I was under the impression that I was taking out a loan to pay off my debts and that I would just have one monthly payment to them. I was wrong. The reality is they told me to stop paying my credit card company and to start putting money into an escrow account so they could negotiate my debt. The initial information was very. My rep was Eric with Silver Lake.
