Good price and a good service

I got car rental excess insurance from SimplyExcess and it all went smoothly. I got the quote from a price comparison site and they were the most competitive, and in terms of service, I got all the info I needed when I booked it but also got a couple of emails with some reminders/tips as the start and end of the hire approached. Nothing I didn't already know but it was appreciated nonetheless

Peace of mind.

Car rental excess insurance at a fraction of the cost at the rental desk. Felt relaxed all through my holiday knowing I had the cover if anything went wrong.
Will be first on my holiday list for my next holiday...

Excellent customer service.

I had an issue with the payment for my policy once I contacted the customer service department the issue was resolved instantly. Excellent customer service and an exceptionally good priced product. I would highly recommend this company.

The name says it all

The name says it all, it was car rental excess cover achieved very easily at an affordable price. I also liked the few email hints during my cover period reminding me to take a few precautionary steps.

A must have for car rental

I’m so glad I found this for car rental, I will definitely use again. Easy website to navigate and sort out an excess without high charges from rental companies. Though I wasn’t even asked to take out an excess at the time of rental. I took pictures as directed before I took the car and when I returned. Super piece of mind to have. Simply excess emailed things to remind to do and what to do in case of a problem. Luckily I didn’t have any problems. A great policy.

Please beware when purchasing car hire…

Please beware when purchasing car hire excess insurance from this company. I recently purchased a product from them but when inputting my surname onto their system, their system did not print my surname correctly. I immediately reached out to them to query this via email to avoid any difficulties down the line when claiming the policy, but had received no reply from Simply Excess. Due to this, I then decided to cancel my policy on Monday 29/09, way ahead of the policy start date of Friday 03/10, but as of today Monday 06/10 I still have not received the refund despite their FAQ claiming the refund would be back to me by 3/5 working days. To show my case is real, the policy number is A/3979/27764026 and I would urge future buyer to be cautious when purchasing a policy from them. I have yet to make any claim from them and yet this process of just claiming the refund for my cancellatiom has already taken a long time.

Having struggled to make the online payment with another excess insurer, I tried SimplyExcess.

Easy to use, didn’t need to make a claim, but saved a small fortune relative to the Hire company’s option.

Will use again.
