Trying to get a refund shouldn't be so painful

I initially read some decent reviews and went for it with this company, i was told there was a 3-5 working day postage period so i waited for a few days. I rang them up to get a tracking number as i live in a different city to where it was being delivered and was told it hadn't been dispatched yet due to it being a bank holiday weekend (i ordered on the 2nd of April and called them on the 7th). Needing this computer for my university projects i got anxious and rang again 3 days later. I was told it hadn't been dispatched yet again, so i continued to wait. The following Monday, which was the 13th, i called again to ask for a tracking number. This time i was told that the processors for the computer i ordered were damaged in a fire, and they were waiting for another batch which had been held up at customs and it could take a week or more. IMMEDIATELY i said i wanted a refund, i told them to cancel my order and send my money back through pay pal. I went out and bought a computer from PC world as i desperately needed to start doing my assignment work. 2 days pass, no refund in pay pal, call again, get a different girl on the phone and tell her i asked for a refund. She says she will do it for me right away. Thursday, still no refund. I call in the morning, different girl and tell her the situation, she promises also to do it straight away. Later that day i see that no refund has been issued and call one last time. In my calmest voice i tell her that she hasn't done it, she makes up something about accidentally navigating away before it was complete and i tell her that i'm going to stay on the phone until i see the refund pending on my account. Once i saw it, and knowing the nature of refunding on pay pal (it cant be cancelled) i let the matter slide and waited for my money to be returned. Today i checked my PayPal to see how it was coming along. To my absolute horror they have removed the refund, likely by having insufficient funds in the PayPal it is being refunded from. I plan to follow up with any means at my disposal and I'm leaving these reviews wherever i can to warn people; AVOID THIS COMPANY. Bad business practice and shoddy customer service.

Fast response

Having sent them an enquiry by email sat am I got a reply within half hour paid by PayPal delivered for a birthday present on day asked for very good coms easy to deal with my 15 year old son says it's good so happy with product I would use them again

the key they sent me was blocked by microsoft...i'm currently trying to get my money back or a replacement key

ITrevive purchase. Great, helpful, would recommend.

Was looking for a windows product Key to buy, as i had a cd already but no key. Came across ITrevive and was unsure as they aren't well known at all, saw some brief reviews on UKHOTDEALS so bit the bullet, you can pay using paypal as an additional security net which basically gave me the confidence to try them. I sent them an email just to check when my order would be dispatched and how, the response was quick and polite. My order came the next day, well packaged and as expected. The key worked just fine and was accepted no issue. There was also a number supplied if you should have any issues activating.

So based on my first and only experience they seem like a good company. Hopefully if they continue to offer the service i received they will get more recognition.
