Very disappointing service

Very disappointing service. I just tried the sixt ride because of the free 25 vouchers from my AMEX platinum card. However, the taxi service was not applicable for the voucher. Customer service also claimed that it was described in the activation email that taxi service is not included in the voucher. Shouldn’t it be at least specified in the App at least? It’s very confusing for me and customer service refused to apply the voucher manually for both my rides.

The ride service is also VERY disappointing. Waiting time takes too long is one thing. More importantly before my ride from airport to home, a taxi driver took my order, app said he should take 7 minutes on the way. I checked on the app 10 minutes later, the driver didn’t move at all and I had to cancel my order. I wasted about 40 minutes rechoosing drivers here and there because the drivers didn’t move at all. I guess they just took their orders as their guaranteed income, but more willingly took other people to get more income. With the time wasted, I should be way earlier home and wouldn’t have to wait in rain for the never-showing drivers.

Service not recommended at all.

I used SIXT ride twice

I used SIXT ride twice, both at Gatwick Airport and Antalya Airport, and was very proffessional. The driver was particularly knowledgeable about the city, and I arrived at my hotel directly and without any problems. Also, my friend was staying at a different hotel, and without charging an extra fee, the driver was very kind and dropped my friend off first, then me.

Cairo Airport

I used the airport transfer service to and from Cairo Airport. Upon arrival, the driver did not show up in the arrivals hall as agreed. Only after several phone calls did he appear at the airport with a considerable delay and was eventually found outside. The return trip from the hotel went smoothly.

I will never book another trip with…

I will never book another trip with this company joke the drivers car was flirty dirty he almost killed us on the motorway he was stoned out of his head almost falling asleep behind the wheel so dangerous I don’t like doing this but has to be said he will kill somebody one day and not even the car they said would pick me up

FIRST booked but ECO seating in EQS

5* service, bookings work well, everything always on time (i did multiple bookings)
with a big BUT

Mercedes EQS with standard rear seats is considered 'FIRST' .. these are non-adjustable, short, bad plastic seats .. SIXT needs to get the car ratings wrong.
With FIRST i expect a comfortable car, like it is advertised (BMW7,Mercedes S) but not a seat comfort which is economy at most.
Until this gets fixed by SIXT (which it probably won't) i will not book this class, if even with SIXT, again. They offered a discount for the next trip, but i break my back with that FIRST experience ..

I was using Sixt Ride in Zurich and Brussels, drivers never are on time, they should be standing with a sign waiting for us and not the other way around.

The communication right after the landing with the driver was excellent.
His attitude and friendliness was suberb.

Terrible communications leading to frustration

Booked pick up LHR T4 after flight scheduled to land about 12:00. Arrived in Arrivals about 13:00 and no driver. Wanted to contact SiXT to ascertain reason for this but there are no phone numbers to contact them on any information or documentation. Much searching on Google found a UK number and after much discussion and transferring to different people finally got to talk to the driver. Apparently I had booked a 90 minute buffer which meant that then driver was not going to appear before 14:00 although this was a surprise to me.
The driver was officially unable to contact me until they arrive at the Terminal and I had no way of contacting them. The driver was only 20 minutes away and agreed to come to the Terminal and picked us up and took us to our destination quickly and efficiently
SiXT really need to facilitate their communication systems and at least allow their customers to contact their representatives in the appropriate country and preferably the driver to avoid unnecessary tension and uncertainty. Why the secrecy about phone numbers? It serves no purpose other than to frustrate their customers and drivers.
SiXT will not be on my preferred supplier list next time
