Overbooking and denial of compensation
There was an overbooking in a flight from Heraklion to Athens and due to this denial of boarding we lost our connection flight from Athens to Barcelona. They claim they are not responsible for any damage and will not reimburse any flight lost/purchased because of their denial of boarding and still waiting for EU261 compensation.

My most recent flight gone wrong
My most recent flight was a gone wrong one, at the 26th of April I was going to Athens International for swimming races..Our flight was delayed for 1.30 hours at Heraklion International. After we landed in Athens we deplaned the plane. ANYWAYS, our return needed to be at the 29th of April but our flight departed after we went for 5 minutes to the toilet. We were 8 kids stuck at the airport for about 8-10 hours. We of course sued the airline at the first place, and they told us that we could board the 1am flight at the 1st of May. The flight got canceled...And then we just got the ship to Heraklion. Truly an awful experience with Sky Express, and they never gave us our money back..Next time I'm flying with Aegean Airlines
Check-in Process gave me an invalid…
Check-in Process gave me an invalid boarding pass und assigned random seat numbers to me instead of the 4 seats I chose during check-in. Furthermore the checked baggage was unclear, which led to me having to call Sky Express to find out what is going on. After waiting around 20 minutes before getting someone on the line to explain my issue, the phone line dropped and I had to call again. After another 25 minutes the support agent informed me that there is an issue with the system and he can only add additional baggage allowance but cannot fix my boarding passes and I will need to do that at the airport on departure day at the check-in counter.
Fraud
I booked a flight from Frankfurt to Tbilisi via Athens with Sky Express. In Athens, I was told that I could only fly to Tbilisi if I provided proof of a return flight. According to them, the authorities at the airport required this proof urgently.
While I had already booked a return flight, this claim is entirely incorrect. At Tbilisi Airport, no such proof is required. It seems that Sky Express is simply trying to make extra money by pressuring passengers to purchase additional flights with them.
This is blatant fraud on a large scale. I strongly advise against flying with Sky Express.
No food even if you willing to pay
On a flight from Paris to Athens, they literally left us hungry. They handed out a list of food that you can order for a fee and they didn't come to take our order despite our calls. No one on the plane was served.

Tragically, you change my time and make me pay if the new time is not convenient for me! Stay away from this company!
Lost luggage compensation unpaid over a year later.
They lost our luggage in July 2023.
After a lot of complaining to them via email (the only option for communications), we were told by email we would be paid in December 2023.
Now december 2024 and still waiting despite regular and frequent contact.
Disgraceful.

Had to take legal actions against them after 3 months, but they don't even respond to the attorney. Looks like we have to confiscate one of their aiplanes first, so they will wake up and fullfill their obligations.

Athens-Rome flight on October 26, 2024. As soon as I got on board I asked to go to the toilet before sitting down: a 20-year-old boy dressed as a steward prevented me by physically placing himself between me and the toilet. I asked to speak to the captain and was denied: the cabin manager came and when I protested she said "it's not the time to use the toilet" and when I replied that I was feeling sick she allowed herself to reply "I don't care!". Are you kidding? Is this the way an airline responds and acts? Luckily for them, when I finally managed to go to the toilet I recovered, otherwise a nice criminal complaint in Italy would not have been taken away from them! Don't travel with this company!

Bumped from flight and received no compensation
I was bumped from my flight from Athens to Ikaria without any notice and was rescheduled to fly a whole 24 hours later.
As if that was not enough, I have sent multiple emails regarding the compensation I am entitled to by European law and they have not replied in 4 months. It honestly blows my mind that they can get away with not compensating bumped passangers at all. Now it makes sense why they overbook their flights so often, if they don't incur any cost for it.

The custumer service is not great There is no estimate on waiting time provided, no categories to choose from based on the urgency of requirement. further you cannot add services through their website such as lounge although they say so, so you need to call and lose so much time. Some improvement at both aspects would boost their competitiveness way beyond competitors

Sky express London flight ,excellent
I travelled from Athens to London , Gatwick airport and back again.
Everything went smoothly, both flights on time , very friendly staff .
Seats comfortable .. They even offer complimentary drinks.
Compared to other budget airlines:
The fact that you are allowed to take a carry on bag included in price and the seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room makes it a great choice .
Am definitely flying with them again.

Naxos to Athens. The plane was full but they only put 5 bags on the flight. I travelled without my suitcase for 2 weeks. This was very stressful and so inconvenient.
Luckily they sent my bag to Istanbul which I could collect on my flights out.

Hello, everyone thinking or who has travelled with Skyexpress. My elderly parents travelled with this company from Crete to Athens, and their luggage was lost. After dozens of emails, most of which were not answered or even acknowledged, and those that were responded to kept asking for more detailed information, sometimes the same questions over and over again, they ultimately stopped responding. They are deceitful, to say the least. There is no direct number to call (the ones listed do not answer or put you on hold forever; in the end, you give up). I'm not sure where this issue comes from; perhaps this is how the way of dealing with other mandated problems are dealt with. Management has I can say this about the company. I'm not sure, but the experience has been awful. Awe, I have never chosen to travel with them again. Shame on the way they deal with their issues. Hopefully, this message get through to them.
