oeful and disgusting is an understatementAfter being informed by Slater & Gordon via a letter that my parents hard earned superannuation was to be part of a class action claim . I followed instructions to register as the executor of the estate . At an already very sad time in my life S&W where deplorable to deal with . Contacting anyone and receiving help even via emails was non existent most of the time . I finally got help just one time and was assured my registration was now complete and all details were correct . Over a year later I see that the case is settled and moneys to begin distribution to the claimants . I’ve had no correspondence so again I started the constant effort to try to get help and inform them my email address was changed without my knowledge.
I speak with one person who promises to help sort it ( told it should be simple to update my contact details ) after many frustrating months an actual lawyer emails me to inform me according to her my registration was never complete and there is no late registration now and the case is settled therefore she regrets to inform me I’m not part of the class action claim. What an absolute joke this so called law firm is . They have totally put me through an emotional wringer for over 2 years . They absolutely have no heart and just see it as more of a larger piece the pie for them . As if they weren’t gouging enough already! Totally disgraceful law firm who have no heart !
Will never recommend them .

After writing this I received communication from Slater & Gordon expressing they would like for ME to make contact with them regarding this matter and my complaint! Go figure they won’t respond or help me out in all that time but they are monitoring this review site to try and save face from me the many unhappy clients .
I humoured them by responding and gave them more than enough time to respond to me and offer some resolution. No surprises it was a waste of time !
My review stands , they are the crappiest law firm ever , what ever you do I implore you please do not employ them to act on your behalf . They will take your money and rip you off !

We were more than happy with our experience at a very difficult time. Nicole and her team kept us informed every step of the way. From the first meeting with Nicole and her obvious knowledge around this subject put our mind at ease. The whole team acted in an extremely professional and caring manner. If they said something would be done , it did and always within the time frame advised.The outcome was more than expected and we are so grateful for the help and compassion always shown.

I found this company to be very caring and compassionate about my situation and they were always there for me if I needed any advice.

Slater and Gordon sent an email to all Comcare claimants' today from Comcare @slatergordon com au which is a clear indication that you should not engage or trust Slater and Gordon for any matter specific to compensation. These guys are well and truly in bed with Comcare and they do not care about your insignificant claim. It is not a healthy thing when a law firm declares that a lot of cash from a reckless unlawful institution such as Comcare outweighs the your rights and entitlements. Be careful and do not trust Slater and Gordon.

The staff were easy to deal with & very compassionate. They have always treated us with respect and answered any questions we had. Special mention to Brieanna, Raelene & Amy. Brieanna was our best support & we thank her immensely.

I found Brian and his extended team of Hilary, Tegan and Tiiva easy to work with. They explained every step of the process and assisted me beyond the simple processing of my claims. Brian was transparent from the outset about how the process would work along with all associated costs which allowed me to make an informed and educated decision about how best to proceed with my claims. Hilary and Tiiva were outstanding in their correspondence and providing assistance in compiling documentation and explaining the entire PI process. I ultimately ended up with 92 points for which I am extremely grateful for. While I would much rather have a fully functioning body I am glad that after 25 years service that I will be looked after moving.

I am trying to access a date when Slater and Gordon will transfer funds owing to ex BT clients I’m eligible and been waiting a year now. Slater and Gordon have paid themselves millions in the meantime.
The website provides a lot about themselves but no date for payment DUE in 2024. It takes 3 minutes to work through the phone options only to be told to leave a message which is ignored and not responded to. I spoke with reception who could not help and had no initiative to do so! Given it’s impossible to speak with a human in s & g I resorted to Trustpilot to make contact
This was the s & g response (apparently they are sorry and care - more lies)
Needless to say if you ring the number recommended 1800 812 957 GUESS WHAT …. leave a message …. again …. not responded to again
PLEASE GIVE ME MONEY DUE SO I DONT HAVE TO WASTE ANY MORE TIME WITH YOUR INEPT ORGANIZATION

Slater & Gordon are the only law firm of which I'm aware, that has a specific team to deal with injury compensation claims by ADF members. Consequently, I chose them to act as my advocates for my claims for injuries over my 42 years in the Australian Army Infantry Corps. The DVA review resulted in the acceptance of my permanent injuries, due compensation and a Gold card for future treatments.

I Had a great outcome with my DVA claims that would have never had occurred without them. I went from being told I could only maybe claim 3 conditions to having 12 claims accepted. Their knowledge of the process and evidence requirements is sound.

I have received the maximum compensation which is life changing. They are worth every cent. I would not have been anywhere near this outcome had I not just made contact early last year.

Working with Pia and the team at Slater & Gordon transformed an incredibly complex process into a manageable one. Navigating DVA claims alone as a defence member was overwhelming—many of my claims were initially rejected or denied funding. However, Pia and her team immediately agreed to investigate each of them. When urgent communication between DVA and the lawyers was needed for approvals on sleep studies, scans, or X-rays, they ensured it happened quickly. Without their support, I would have faced significant out-of-pocket expenses and potentially missed crucial medical investigations. Slater & Gordon’s dedication not only improved the outcome of my claim but also gave me access to medical care that has genuinely increased my quality of life.

Navigating Department of Veterans Affairs and the injury claims process was too overwhelming for me. I didn't know where to start, who to speak to or which forms to fill out. The entire thought of doing it on my own was too much to the point I wasn't going to do it all. I contacted Slater and Gordon after seeing their no win no fee policy and figured it was better than nothing, and I had nothing to lose! They charge a flat fee rather than taking a percentage of your total compensation which in my case worked better for me. The whole process took about 18-24 months which is fault of DVA, not Slater and Gordon, but I wasn't worried, stressed or overwhelmed at all. They told me when I needed to go to the Dr's and which forms to take, which options would result in fair compensation and guided me through the whole process.
