It is a great harness. I used it with my Boxer (Male, 55 lbs) for a 2.5-hour trip, and he was safe and secure.

The Sleepypod worked great for a recent trip. It was the perfect size for the allotted space under the seat in front, and it survived my cat's attempts to escape. Also, people couldn't tell I had a cat in the carrier unless I alerted them. The mesh was thick and dark. I like that the inside is soft, and it is helpful that there are buckles for the harness and the seatbelt in a car. I might try to use it as an open car seat in the future as well. It might be nice if there was an expandable top that could zip up for the plane - for taller cats that might want to stretch and stand up at the airport or in the car. I liked that it could unzip all the way for easy access when I need to remove my cat to go through security. I read a lot of positive reviews before buying, and I think the product fulfilled my needs and expectations! Thank you Sleepypod!

Sleeppod has a very high quality product. Unfortunately the harness did not work for my cat. It is just a bit too complicated to get on and he is not patient enough. The customer service person was very responsive and I was able to return it with no problems.

The Clickit Sport Plus harness arrived sooner than we were originally told—a nice surprise. Harness is easy to use and the perfect safety solution for driving with our 45 pound Old English Sheepdog puppy! She can sit or lie down and anppears to be very comfortable while being safely strapped in. Thanks for such a great product.

Great product! My dog loves the sleepypod car harness. The seatbelt goes securely through the top of the harness straps and is secured to keep her safe while traveling.

Above and beyond services! Needed to exchange our order for the next size up and the process was super easy!

My 45 lb husky mix is restless in the car, so not feasible to get her to lie down to clip her in. Additionally, the slack for a dog her size was fairly short so she didn't like it and got more restless. The design is good and sturdy, seems good to protect in a crash. Not a big fan of the double clips for harness walking (even when fitted, was a bit harder to clip on). Was dry after she went in a pond, so water resistant(?). Not our favorite harness, but do appreciate all the testing to be crash safe

I purchased this after having gotten one for my first dog. Now I have one for both my sweet dogs and feel they are so much safer on our car rides, now. Highly recommend these quality products.

My cats love sleepy pods. It makes vet visits so much easier because they can just unzip the top and do most of the visit from the comfort of the carrier. My cats love being able to see everything and even choose to nap in the sleepypod at home if it isn’t being stored so it must be cozy.

I consulted with a salesperson via the online chat option to determine which car-harness would be best for my puppy. He was incredibly helpful, and I was pleased to end up with the right size (as I often find navigating online returns to be aggravating!) I will say that the "S" clip that comes with the harness does not work in my car, and I'll have to order a separate seat-belt stopper. Otherwise I'm completely pleased with my purchase!

As a summary: this product was sold with a clear, known flaw and rather than recall/replace the part/model, the customer service representative quoted the impressively limited warranty policy. Given the price point, this level of unreliability is simply not worth the hassle!

--Sleepypod iterated a design because enough bags broke because of the flaw and subsequently stopped producing/providing the part to consumers
--Rather than recalling those bags with the clasps, the specific part, or otherwise providing some way for less fortunate consumers who bought the earlier design to cut some of the losses on their investment, the company hides their clearly obsolescent product behind an incredibly limited warranty policy
--What likely began as an honest mistake became willful negligence (given the company's clearly profit-centered response to error)

EDIT: The company reached out to me after I posted this review and offered to remedy the situation. I appreciated very much the person reaching out and, for me, it made up for the initially very bad customer service

There is nothing wrong with the harness but my dog just does NOT like it. She is a 60 standard poodle and she did not like being restricted by this harness and not able to look out the window. Otherwise it is well made.

I have used Sleepypod car harnesses for 3 dogs and the harnesses have worked very well for each. They have been able to sit or lie down comfortably and haven’t minded wearing them. Several years ago a driver on the highway suddenly veered out of his lane - coming right at my car - forcing me to lurch very quickly onto the shoulder. When I was able to look back at my dog, he was still completely in place and calm. After that incident I resolved never to take my dogs in the car without their Sleepypod car harnesses on! Also, Customer Service is great! They are very responsive, helpful, and extremely pleasant to deal with.
