10 weeks and waiting - they say they are backlogged "due to covid" but they're still accepting orders, ... and payments. But not shipping. :-(

Company takes money and doesn't deliver. Extremely unreliable. And product it self is not great. After sales is rubbish.
Avoid at all costs
Previously I'd used Best Skins Ever for clear protection products for my MacBooks and had a great experience each time. Unfortunately they have since gone out of business and Slickwraps appears to be the only major online business offering clear 14" MacBook Pro skins at the moment.
January 3rd: I placed an order with them for a clear 14" MacBook Pro skin and heard nothing from them aside from a shipping confirmation.
January 14th: I emailed customer service to request an update on my order
January 24th: 10 days later customer service replies to tell me the order has been "scanned into their packaging department" and will be shipping soon.
January 31st: At this point I emailed them to request a cancellation of the order and contested the charge with PayPal.
February 1st: Within 12 hours of contesting the charge with PayPal they generated a USPS Tracking # (USPS is still awaiting the item as of this evening) and email me back to say it's too late to cancel the order. It's amazing how fast their customer support can be when you're trying to claw your money back from them.
Honestly at this point I don't even want a skin from this sketchy company. I should have Googled them prior to purchasing because I would have seen the droves of people with experiences similar to mine. Had I visited the website more than once before ordering I would have also noticed that their entire inventory is constantly on 60%+ sales which is a huge red flag by itself. They also have a blanket no-returns you get what you get policy on their website which they blame on COVID. In fact their website blames lots of their longstanding deficiencies on COVID.
Purchase at your own risk. Also if anybody knows of a reputable vendor selling clear MacBook skins for the 14" Pro I'm all ears.
Certainly not "slick" in anyway.
First used them in 2018 - they have a good range of devices that other vinyl places do not stock at all, especially older gadgets which benefit from a new look once they have picked up a few scratches.
However, this was the last time time I will be using them.
All previous purchase had been shipped in 3 to 5 days. This time it took them over a month to dispatch (ordered start of December) and only after chasing them and raising a PP dispute. Fair enough we had Christmas, but that could have been avoided by dispatching it earlier in December.
I contacted them at the start of Jan about my now month old order, received a reply that it was packing - took five days for a reply - then took them another week to allegedly dispatch.
It arrived today - nearly a month since it was supposedly posted and 2 months (minus 5 days) since placing the order. I can't believe it has been in the post for a month - would make it the longest anything has ever been "on it's way" in my history of internet purchases world wide for donkeys years.
Two of the three wraps are fine, the third had come away from it's backing paper, probably from being inside a tube for a month and was stuck to the inside of the mailing tube rendering it unusable - really cannot be bothered with seeking a replacement as I may not see it until April or May at this rate.
Sorry to say Slickwraps, but most certainly not a great experience all round.
Seriously one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with
Seriously one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with! Placed my order and waited. Reached out to slickwraps and got Dolores, who is absolutely incompetent and lacks any sense of customer support. This company will take your money and not ship your product. Email to customer service gets answered by the one and only "Dolores". I've opened up complaints with both PayPal and American Express. I will refuse the shipment when it finally arrives assuming it ever does. I would suggest opening a case with the Better Business Bureau if you've been wronged by slickwraps like so many have. This company needs to be called out and potential victims need to be warned. I just wish I had found this site before I placed my order. smh

Poor shipping speed and quality
Purchased our “wraps” around Black Friday. Took them over a month to ship because they were on “back order” which confused me because it’s just vinyl, don’t they print it themselves? Finally got them 2 months after ordering and they’re pretty garbage. Don’t expect them to stay on for more than a couple weeks.
The worst
The worst. I waited 3 months for my product and when it finally arrived it was completely stuck to the backing paper so there was no stickiness for me to use on my phone. Also it looked like it was the wrong size for my phone. I sent an email requesting a refund and never heard back.
SCAM
SCAM - Orders are endlessly in processing state even after 2 months.

It's been a month in a half, several emails, no tracking number, no response back and they say it's a 2-3 week processing time. It's been 6 weeks. A simple reply back acknowledging your customers will go a long way. Brutal customer service and makes people think your business isn't legit.

Order came in 1 plus month. The skin is oversized. The customer service has 1 person replying who takes at least 10 days to reply. Every time you send them an email expect an answer in 10 days. Dolores is very incompetent and slow.

Don’t buy anything from Slickwraps, you will never receive what you paid for. Terrible company with even worse customer service. Dolores is completely incompetent and will lie to you about your order. You’ve been warned.
Unsatisfactory Service
I placed an order two months ago and still haven’t gotten my items. I emailed them and got a response claiming they were backed up due to Covid. In between this time I ordered with another company that’s overseas in England (easyskinz) and my items arrived in a week! Slickwarps lost a customer with me.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Took forever to arrive (3+ months). Even worse that they don’t reply to emails or anything. I figured I lost my money. Once it arrived, the pieces didn’t fit my beats the way they have it pictured.

You'll wait 90 days
Ordered in september with no response and then in December you tell me your shipping it. Nice way to charge the customer and it goes past 60 days and you can't dispute it with your CC company. You should be embarrassed with your sales tactics.
