Appalling Attitude no customer service care

Please read this to help you avoid this seller and save you from anxiety and stress. These mobility scooter batteries were received via Parcel Force, Parcel Force will not return these to seller Mr Stephen Knell SLK Mobility. I called this company several times no one picked up my call, a message was left saying out of office until 04/11/2024 so unable to speak to them. Problem being no courier will accept them because they are classed as “HAZARDOUS”. Mr Knell said via email it’s difficult to find a courier. To make things worse I called Customer Service the Amazon agent sent an email to Mr Knell telling him to arrange a free collection and give a FULL REFUND ASAP. The reply from Mr Knell said he wouldn’t arrange the collection then said once these batteries were received he would deduct the cost of sending them to me. This company are obstructing Amazon’s Policy under the 30 day money guarantee, then saying he will deduct money for the delivery to my step fathers home. Mr Knell knows disabled customers are buying these, he is aware the problem we have returning them, he know many are so unwell to fight Customer Rights and just give up. This problem will be put on social media to warn others not to make the same mistake. This has been raised to Klarna, escalated to Amazon’s A-Z Guarantee Refund...they are fully aware how unreasonable this seller is, there is no way these can be returned. Mr Knell knows this, he is using Amazon to sell but he is not abiding by Amazon’s business policies. SLK Mobility Mr Knell is clearly obstructing the safe return back to him, on the advert no where does it say I pay for these being delivered and that I pay for the return I’m an Amazon Prime Member this is totally unacceptable. These were accepted to be returned by the seller on 01/10/2024 spent hours trying to find a courier called Amazon on 29/11/2024 explaining difficulties finding a courier. Mr Knell has sent several replies to my messages digging his heels in refused to help. He knows these need to be returned by 09/11/2024 the last day of my 30 day return. Amazon just can’t allow this seller to us the Amazon platform to sell his products for so many reasons he’s flouting Amazon’s policies even sending customer service a obstructing reply refused what he was told to do.

You purchased the wrong size batteries even though the dimensions are on the listing, we cannot be held responsible for this. You can return the batteries for refund. You mentioned you are having difficulty returning so we said we can arrange this for you on 4th November. We are not sure what else you expect us to do.

Bought the 2 x Battery + Charger bundle…

Bought the 2 x Battery + Charger bundle .
Excellent service with very quick delivery, slight hiccup as the Batteries arrived but no charger !!
A quick email and Stephen was very helpful and arranged for the charger to arrive next day , which it did.
Excellent all round service and Highly recommended to all.

Bought 2 batteries that failed after…

Bought 2 batteries that failed after only 3 months after being on trickle charger..disappointing BUT when I claimed under warranty they replaced without any question..So very good customer service.Hopefully just a duff batch and the replacements will fare better...fingers crossed.

Why don't you respond to voicemail messages left?

Called several times now only to face a voicemail stating my call cannot be taken just now so leave a message.
I have now left two messages regarding defective mobility scooter batteries and that I want them returned for testing under warranty, but I have not received single call back

Disappointed

Unfortunately having given a good review on actually using the batteries they are not working with my scooter and have needed to put my original batteries back in.
Have reached out to SLK mobility but have had no response.
The returns policy makes no sense, how can you know a product doesn’t work unless you try it!
As a person on benefits because I am unable to walk far or stand for long it’s money I can’t afford to lose.
