The Art of Drying Off. Founded by way of California and Hawaii in 2015, three friends started Slowtide as a product of their lifestyle. After spending long days at the beach, they realized that there was no towel that was both exciting and fit their daily needs; so they set out to create one. Dario Phillips, Kyle Spencer, and Wylie Von Tempsky left their corporate jobs to build a new canvas for art in the form of a towel. Inspired by all bodies of water and a love of art, Slowtide is a collaboration of three friends who wanted to convey their lifestyle through unique products.

Buy from them without a doubt. Bought a winter surf poncho and 3 cozy fleece blankets with black Friday deals, the poncho was for me and the blankets were Christmas gifts. The quality and finish it's outstanding. The shipping was swift and without any issues, bought a size up although I am a smaller person in order to be covered well under my knee by fabric. The poncho is soft and super absorbent and WARMER than any other poncho I have seen! Amazing, I just wish they still had a tobacco green colour, like in the pics on the website, but I got the black one, a classic. All their fabrics are top quality and ethically sourced.
