Took out the 3 month subscription at lower price. Got first 2 boxes and then they seemed to become a different company. Got a refund for 3rd month to then have them take out my bank full price of £13.99 without my knowledge. Trying desperately to cancel but seems to be a company that has no phone number, web address or any kind of customer service. AVOID this company at all costs

What is going on with this company? November's payment was taken, refunded and now taken again at a HIGHER amount that I was not told about. There is no website no social media and the price has gone up with no advance warning or consent for this?

I've been subscribing with this company for over a year and can't rate it highly enough. They just changed ownership which has caused a few issues. But I've received an email explaining what's happening and a refund. Its definitely not a scam a one star review seems a little unfair.
Beware of fraud!
I previously ordered a couple of boxes back in 2020 and they were fine. I was sent multiple emails about 40% off the next 3 boxes so decided to re-subscribe again and get a couple more boxes. First payment was taken mid October and another payment taken 4th November. I’ve still received no boxes yet. The 2nd payment was then refunded. First payment showed as snacksurprise and second payment showed as snackverse. The website has been down for maintenance for 2 weeks. I have emailed and they took a week to reply, but have now confirmed my subscription is cancelled. Hopefully I will at least receive the one box I have paid for. However the worse part is I have received fraud on my account for the card I used for this. It seems that it’s related to this as I have seen many others also mention fraud! I have since had to cancel my card and order a new one. £400 was taken from my account for a gambling website, my card was then frozen and 2 more transactions were attempted which then declined. Beware! I recommend not using this company. It is too much of a risk!
Email from SnackVerse confirming the takeover and how it will now work
Had real issues around receiving boxes or responses to communucations. However now had new company email (snack verse) to say October Boxes are going out in next week. November ones are cancelled (and refunded) due to change of company ownership and them needing time to process backlogs etc. In future payments will be taken 4th of month with boxes being delivered middle of FOLLOWING month. So if they take payment on 4th December, then the box is expected to arrive in Mid Jan. Whilst this gives them more chance of meeting the delivery times, it means you have already paid for box 2 before even receiving box 1.
Willing to give new company a try, lets see if they can do better!

Stay away from this company. I joined in October I had two pavements go out from two snack companies and I only signed up for one. I’ve received nothing and had fraud on my account which I’ve never had before!

Have previously used this company without any issues (a couple of years ago). Thought I would use it again for my god daughter - she has only received one box although two payments have been taken by snack surprise and a third payment by snack verse … today I tried to contact snack surprise and their website is down and the contact form is not working but completely separate to this I have received a refund today from snack verse for one months payment with no contact or correspondence. Have then decided to Google the company and seen the reviews on here! Have now contacted my bank to prevent any further payments being taken by either company. Have only suffered a small loss unlike some of the horror stories on here but thought I would post about the refund in the hopes others may also get this in due course.

No boxes, and now fraud on the bank account. Lots of people the same on trustpilot. Have had to cancel the card and dispute the recent snacksurprise transactions..

Ridiculous company!!
They have taken a total of £45 out of my account and I have received one box!! I have not received anything for over a month even after they took the money out. Hoping I can get a refund although I never get an email back from them!!
SCAM / PHISHING by Snack Surprise / Snackverse
Received phishing email from SNACK VERSE with the payment details of my subscription to SnackSurprise. No box has arrived for more than 1 month. Their website is down and I think my card was used fraudulently for a transaction. Contacted card provider.

Signed up in September with no sign of any boxes delivered. Had an email saying they are no longer trading and fraudulent payments have now been taken from my credit card used with them via moneygram.
Edited 16th Nov - Major fraud suspected at this company and its new name SnackVerse. Somebody else’s card details are now registered on my account. A huge data breach. I am contacting the FCA and Financial ombudsman about this. I beg everyone to renew your cards used with either of these companies and check your accounts to see if any other card numbers have been registered against your account. This is very worrying.

Pretty sure they stole my credit card details and tried to use it for multiple large purchases. Now the site is down. Very suspicious. 100% avoid. Criminals in my opinion unless I'm proven wrong.

Bought this as a part of a Christmas present last Christmas - bought the 6 month one. Totally didn’t realise/forgot that come May (6 months later) that money would come out again for another 6 month box. So fair enough that’s on me I didn’t say anything about that but since May have been trying to get a response and not had a single reply to emails, they were so quick at replying at the beginning when I wanted to ask queries about the box but now I’m waiting to cancel have been completed ghosted. Put a form through my bank to cancel this amount of money/ name taking out money and shock on Friday again another £83 taken out to a similar but different company name. Complete shambles and I would recommend anyone not to do it!!!!!

Think this company has gone bust. Site has been down all week yet they have just taken another payment and am still waiting for my original box to come.
Dreadful service & spam emails
Terrible customer service. Missing boxes with no explanation as to why. Cancelled my subscription, but they won't confirm it with my bank. Keep sending me emails every few days asking me to rejoin. Can't contact them as the website is down.
