Do not give this company your email address!

Bought a product from this company once, big mistake. They now bombard me with emails every single day, despite me asking to be unsubscribed multiple times! They just ignore your emails and keep sending you special offers.

Avoid at all costs.

Used their product over lockdown. Disliked how the company handled communication and unsubscribed. I'm still getting emails from them, despite unsubscribing from that specifically, and they're only getting more frequent.

ICO Warning

I made a complainy to the Information
Commissioner’s Office (‘ICO’) and they upheld it, instructing Snack Surprise not to send any more marketing emails and to respond to my Subject Access Request. The emails have stopped but they have failed to respond to the SAR within the allowed time. Here is a copy of the ICO repsonse and I would reccommend anyone having the same issue to also make a complaint to the ICO. They dealt with it swiftly and effectively.

"Thank you for the data protection complaint you have raised with the Information
Commissioner’s Office (‘ICO’) about SnackSuprise Limited and how it has handled an information rights request you have made.
Your complaint has been allocated to me as Case Officer.
Part of our role is to consider complaints from individuals who believe their data
protection rights have been infringed.
We deal with complaints like this under Section 165 of the Data Protection Act
2018 which requires us to take steps to respond to complaints including investigating to the extent that we feel is appropriate. It also requires us to inform the complainant of the outcome of their complaint.
We use complaints to build up a picture of an organisation’s information rights practices so that we can identify and target poor performing organisations.
Details of the action we have taken are available on our website.
You have expressed concern to the ICO that Snack Suprise Limited has continued to contact you for direct marketing purposes despite the fact that you have previously objected to receiving such communications.
I have considered the information available to me in relation to this complaint and I’m of the view that Snack Suprise Limited has not complied with its obligations under data protection law in this instance.
This is because the organisation has failed to comply with your right to object.
Under Article 21(2) of the General Data Protection Regulation individuals may object at any time to the processing of their personal data for direct marketing purposes. Marketing constitutes the promotion of any product or service. This is an absolute right and upon receiving notification of their objection, an organisation should no longer send direct marketing materials to the individual.
We have contacted the organisation directly in order to inform them of the assessment we have made for your complaint and have stated that we now require the organisation to take steps to ensure that you are no longer contacted for direct marketing purposes. We have advised the organisation to consider supressing your personal details in this instance in order to ensure you are no longer contacted.
We have also drawn your subject access request to the organisations attention and have notified them that we would expect that they provide you with a substantive response to your request within the statutory one calendar month timeframe.
Although we do not intend to take formal regulatory action in this instance, we keep a record of all the complaints raised with us about the way organisations process personal information. The information we gather from complaints may form the basis for action in the future where appropriate.
Please be advised that you have the right to take your own action on any data protection matters through the courts regardless of any decisions that the ICO
may make. This is not a process with which we are able to assist, and we would
recommend that you seek independent legal advice if this is something you
would like to pursue."

Had a bad experience

Had a bad experience, cancelled my subscription. Two years later, despite unsubscribing from their mailing list SEVERAL times, I'm still getting emails from them. Absolute joke of a company. I'm getting an email every day that sounds like sheer desperation from a dying company.

Will not leave me alone

Will not leave me alone! I had a bad experience as a customer with them, boxes turning up late, taking money when I’d asked to end my subscription etc and now they send me at least 1 (but usually multiple) email a day, every single day!! I have unsubscribed, I have emailed them and yet here we are over a year later and I am STILL seeing their trash name in my inbox. Makes me feel sick tbh.

Never ending emails, inadequate snacks

Never get stuck on their email list. I have lost count how many times I have unsubscribed to STILL be bombarded relentlessly with emails with "deals" to come back.

They were an adequate novelty snack company. Often late. Always overpriced.

The spam email is bad and getting worse

The spam email is awful and getting worse. I have tried to unsubscribe multiple times, and have contacted customer service multiple times.

I am now reporting every spam email I get to the ICO - it only takes a couple of minutes and seems to be the only way we can bring this to an end.

SPAM emails

SPAM emails. I bought a box a long while back which I was happy with but now endlessly get emails saying last chance at 40% off, lowest ever discount bla bla bla. Stop it already. I have now unsubscribed even though I would rather have not. This SPAM is just too much!

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. I wasn’t going to leave a review but even after unsubscribing to the mailing list, I keep receiving emails to come back (offering a 40% discount off for 3 months - 40times3).
I discovered this company in August and by the 14th I decided to go for the premium box. By the end of August, I haven’t heard any news about my box, I email customer services and they tell me that the payment had just been taken and the box is now processing, checked my bank statement and the payment was taken on the 14th of August. After pointing this out they apologise and tell me that the box should arrive soon?! Keep waiting for few weeks and nothing. Messaged them again, and they reassured me that all August boxes got dispatched few days ago, and if I don’t get anything in 3 to 5 days, to email them again for a replacement box - they denied me a refund.
I wait patiently, and after a week, nothing arrives. I emailed them again, request for my complaint to be escalated to a manager and that I want a refund, not a replacement as October was only few days away.
Got my refund processed straight away.

Avoid avoid avoid

Three boxes in total, all over 6 weeks late. Unable to cancel subscription after month one, so they ended up getting 3 payments from me. Should be out of business. Repeatedly cancelled email subscription but they're still spamming me. I would advise to avoid, but if you plan on signing up use code 40times3 for a huge discount for three months (they keep emailing it to me).

Unreliable spammers

Avoid this company at all costs. After completely failing to deliver their product after two months, I cancelled my year subscription (via my credit card company, because they have zero customer service).. They now frequently send me SPAM emails despite my constant attempts to unsubscribe. This has been going on for a year now. Avoid them, they are not a reliable company at all.

After waiting more than 1 month

After waiting more than 1 month for the August and September boxes they arrived last week and this.
It seems that snack surprise are rebranding and renaming their company.
I don't have the energy to wait for deliveries and lack of explanation is exhausting.
I hope that they do better for their customers. I have ended my subscription.
The August box was Slovakia and September was Turkey, these I have received previously.

Don’t stop emailing even when you’ve unsubscribed

I used the service previously almost two years ago. I then unsubscribed from emails and they listened to that however over a year later in September of this year they sent me several emails in the space of 72 hours to get an offer, I unsubscribed again and sent an email requesting that I was fully removed from the mailing list. I heard nothing back but also received no further emails so thought it was sorted until this week when they have started emailing me again. If you asked to be unsubscribed from a mailing list this should be listened to by a company and they should respect this. If you don’t want constant emails then definitely avoid

Avoid - unreliable service and website

Signed up at the end of July and got 1 box, then nothing until 2 boxes at the start of October. Seems worth avoiding as must have supply issues or not be paying their bills.
I reported to my credit card company as their site was also down so could not cancel my subscription, and disputed the charges after waiting 2 months.

Awful experience with them

Awful experience with them. Paid for a box (and automatically signed up subscription) at the beginning of September (approx 6th) - still haven't received item and when emailing them they said they'd already sent the item and it should already be with me and that I would have got a royal mail tracking ID - it's still saying "processing" on their website. Cancelled the subscription and about to ring bank to get my money back.

Won't stop sending spam emails

This company is being a pain and constantly sending me spam emails despite me unsubscribing I dont know how many times and have also emailed them to stop but I still keep having them.

Stop emailing me as I don't want your rubbish overpriced boxes!
