No longer a customer and they are still annoying me

I used this service last year from these total clowns and eventually stopped when I simply stopped getting my moneys worth.

I have spent the last year trying to get them to stop sending me emails, however even though I have unsubscribed multiple times, I continue to get them.

Absolutely awful company, avoid.

Utterly appalling customer service

Utterly appalling customer service. I can see other folks having the same problem as me - I paid for the August box and still have not received it as of 3rd October! No communication, nor apologies about or for the delay. And the most generic reply from "customer service" saying their turnaround time is 7 working days for an email, and "please do not send another as we'll push you to the back of the queue"?! Utterly appalling. I will be pursuing a refund through my bank for the August box that was never delivered. Such a shame because the boxes we received were actually quite good!

Ridiculous company

Ridiculous company, customer service is non existent, the boxes are a no show. Unable to cancel subscription, had to go through the bank and get them to cancel it for me. I’ve unsubscribed since last year and I’m still receiving their jarring emails.

I used to subscribe to this company…

I used to subscribe to this company after using a different snack company.
Initially the service was acceptable, though some boxes were late, I got fed up with them.

I cancelled my membership months ago as the snacks starting doubling up, as in the exact same snacks for different countries - Turkey / Greece for example.

Even now I am still getting emails offering me 40% off 3 months. Usually 2 within minutes of each other.
They always say "Last chance" which has been going on for weeks.
I email them to tell them I unsubscribed from ALL CONTACT, yet they ignore me and send emails anyway.

Avoid this company at your peril, their customer service doesn't exist but I'm sure they'd take your money anyway.

Waiting on 2 months of boxes

Waiting on 2 months of boxes. No sign of them even being dispatched. No communication from them. Have now cancelled my subscription and removed my card details and raised disputes with my bank to try and get my two payments back. Used to be a great company but the last few months they’ve not been sending out the boxes we pay for.

Payment taken, no boxes!

Complete scammers of a company. I used to be subscribed and boxes were late but good, though customer service was appalling. Cancelled as unreliable. Got lured in by a discount email in August but, just like others, I have had 3 payments taken but no boxes. The company took their website down so you couldn't contact them or cancel, although I was still receiving discount emails. When the site came back up I deleted my payment card and cancelled but they still somehow managed to take a third payment!!! 3 payments, no boxes, no response from customer services. They have also deleted all negative comments from their Facebook page. Absolute joke.

Money taken and no boxes delivered. DONT order from this company as haven’t had boxes properly since June. When trying to contact them their website isn’t loading. Cancel subscriptions via your bank. Awful company

Well i can see everyone else is having…

Well i can see everyone else is having the same experience as me. I signed up in August have paid for 2 boxes but have not received one! On the 4th October i will have paid for 3 boxes. Customer service are useless and fob you off. The last email i received said the boxes were dispatched last friday and if not recieved in 3 to 4 days they would send a replacement. A replacement for a box they havent sent out anyway.

They have also turned off comments on their instagram, which i assume is to stop people sharing bad experiences. Their "supply issues" are utterly rubbish, they dont have issues when sending free boxes to influencers. Scam of a company

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Do not use this company. I subscribed in august. They have taken Augusts payment, Septembers payments and I am still waiting on both those boxes arriving. They do not answer emails. You cannot cancel through your account. You have to contact them. Now when I sign in I am getting a website under maintenance page coming up so can no longer contact them at all. Octobers payment is due to be taken on 4th oct by them and I have now had to get my bank involved which will hopefully stop any further payments and refund what I have already paid. I signed up the end of august and have been having a issues with them ever since. Like I said, I am yet to receive ANY of my monthly boxes! Do not use this company unless you enjoy giving money away.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!! They take payment and do not send out boxes. No customer service, they do not answer e-mails. Alarm bells should now be ringing as conveniently their website, for already registered customers, is apparently 'down for maintenance' all week!! So people are unable to log in to cancel their subscription before they take payment for another box that they will not send. People should contact their banks to cancel payments.

Been waiting 3months now for the premium boxes that I ordered for my kids as treats, tried contacting customer support but got no where with them feel like this company has just scammed us all!

They haven't let me unsubscribe and constantly keep trying to take another payment which I refuse to pay for again until we receive the previous boxes.

Unreliable, poor service

As a long-time customer I'm sad to say the service being offered has deteriorated to a point where I can't recommend Snacksurprise to anyone. I am still waiting for August and September boxes, which I've paid for, and the October renewal is only days away. I've tried to cancel, but conveniently the account section of the website has been "down for maintenance" all day.

The boxes, when you actually get them, are ok. Some countries are better than others.

So so disappointing

So so disappointing, payments are taken and boxes aren't delivered for 2 months. Customer service are next to useless and just have generic replies. It's understandable to have supply issues, however its not okay to leave customers hanging in lieu with no update. Still waiting on my August box... cancelled until they sort themselves out.

I would give 0 stars if possible

I would give 0 stars if possible. This company is completely fraudulent.
I have paid for 4 boxes now and only received 2, I then cancelled my subscription but they are still taking money out my account every month and I’m not receiving any boxes.
Customer service takes weeks to get back to you and don’t help you.
Avoid this company.

Avoid for now

Do not buy from this company at the moment as they seem to have significant challenges with keeping their business running.

I am on a monthly subscription and have not received my 2 latest boxes, even though the monthly fee left my account beginning of August and September.

I have tried to cancel my subscription before the next payment is taken out at the beginning of October, but their website is down for maintenance. How convenient!

2 stars as I do really like the boxes WHEN they arrive and I am still keeping my hopes up that I will eventually receive the boxes that I have paid for.

Bad service....turning into a sham company

I have had a subscription for over two years and have always been satisfied. The boxes were often later in the month compared to the date the £s were taken, but this has changed drastically. I have paid for August & September, yet still haven't had Augusts box yet. The message on the website has stated boxes will be sent "this week", but that message has been up for weeks now.

I now cannot cancel my subscription as the website is down for "maintenance", however you can still sign up it you want...which is a tad suspicious. I have had to message via Instagram as you can't message via the website as it is down. I will have to contact my bank to cancel the subscription due to come out at the beginning of October.

Ridiculous company - avoid

Ridiculous company. I've been more than patient and been fobbed off multiple times. Tried giving benefit of the doubt but nope, it's a scam. Paid for a box at the beginning of August, told it will be sent out mid/end of the month. Didn't arrive. Subscription took another payment at the beginning of September, I thought okay, we'll give it a chance, be patient there having supply issues. It is now the end of September and not a single box has arrived. Constantly told there are delays and it has now been posted, or it will be in a day or 2. Nothing arrives.

Mediocre product and email marketing spam

Got a box to try and the snacks were pretty lacklustre.
Since then I have been receiving marketing emails constantly even though I have unsubscribed multiple times. Seems like a GDPR violation.

GDPR rules mean nothing to these clowns...

AVOID I was a customer of this company when I bought a gift box, they didn't deliver and they didn't respond to emails. Now despite unsubscribing from their emails I get regular marketing emails with discount codes. They do not honour the unsubscribe request, they ignore GDPR rules and are thoroughly unscrupulous. I have reported them to ICO but it doesn't seem to make a difference AVOID
