Had a subscription over a year ago and cancelled after constant late deliveries and issues. Quality of box was good, but the service terrible.
Since then, I keep receiving emails with offers to come back. I've clicked the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email, yet I still keep receiving the offers - currently a daily issue. Probably in breach of GDPR. Delete my information and improve your service.

Avoid at all costs. I ordered a box in August. We are at the end of September and I still haven't received it. They charged me twice, the website is an absolute nightmare to navigate and try to cancel orders. I contacted them via email, and they responded that they were having delays, and that I would receive my box soon. 20 days have passed and still nothing. Reading all the other reviews make me understand that I will indeed, never receive my box! Such a really bad experience.

Yes the delivery is sometimes late, imagine having to source different products every month from different countries in these times. It can’t be easy.
I brought the 6th subscription for a birthday present, and that loved it.

The overall concept is good, but ultimately they can’t manage their business and all boxes arrive 2 months late with no communication. They also repeat the same 5 countries. The positive reviews are fake - they run competitions where if you give positive reviews you get a free box…

If I could leave no stars I would! terrible company to deal with. Always late and customer service is non existent! Cancelled subscription for them to continue to take the money, so cancelled with my bank and then had to get them involved to get the money back they took after I had cancelled!! They don't reply to emails and I have unsubscribed from their mailing list more times than I can remember and still continue to get their newsletters!! Very frustrating and impossible to cancel without involving your own bank!!

Been using since 2020 and have enjoyed my boxes, a good selection of snacks from across Europe and for what I thnk of as a fair price.
After two years there have been a few delays but nothing of consequence. Some contries have been repeated but the snacks have for the most part been different with only a few repeats.
Things started to go downhill in the summer of 2022. It's late September and Augusts box still hasn't been shipped. There's no update, the website has a notification saying it's shipping this week but it's said that for two weeks.

Terrible customer service. I haven't received the last 2 boxes and previousones were weeks late. I eventually got in touch with someone via email who said a new box would be sent out but that was a month a go and still nothing. I've just cancelled the subscription.

I liked the idea and enjoyed the few boxes I've had but they're always delayed, I'm still waiting on August and September's boxes. I've cancelled for now until they sort it out and manage to run the whole operation smoothly.

The idea is great but I wouldn’t recommend. Boxes arrive late if at all. You wonder what month you’re on as the boxes arrive so irrationally if you get them. No customer service and just disappointing!
I have been using this snack box…
I have been using this snack box company for a few years now, however I have now had to cancel. There were delays at the beginning albeit very small delays, but it’s now getting weeks after the end of the month and still no box. Massive delays have happened with promises of additional treats for the delay, none of which happened. I wouldn’t have expected anything, but to say there will be additional items in the box and then when they arrive there’s nothing is just lying! The customer service is none existent, I understand the current climate and if they actually kept customers updated then it wouldn’t be an issue. What sort of company doesn’t keep customers updated of delays?? We are now a month and a half after payment has been taken- website says they’ll be shipped this week but that has been there a while and still no confirmation of shipping! Really shoddy- I enjoyed the monthly box but it’s just not worth the wait any longer.

They send the boxes out in the last week of the month, aiming for the 25th... like hell they do! Today is September 15th and August box is still "processing", ergo, this is day 21 of waiting (Since the 25th).
If you cannot provide a reliable subsciption service then just give up! Refund your customers and maybe try again once the "current climate" improves!
States on website that boxes are delayed but will be sent out "this week", but that message has been there for over a week... so which week are they talking about? No one knows!
The surprise isn't about what is in the box, the surprise is when they actually get around to sending your box!
Also, the items you receive really are not worth the money. I understand that they need to cover costs to import items and then postage costs... but even then it is not really worth the money.

I've been a customer for a few years and I have to say I am at the point of cancelling (and I know what a challenge that will be). The July box, when it eventually arrived in August, was missing items and despite sending an email on 8th August, there has been no response. I sent another on 23rd August...yep, you guessed it, still no reply. Their lack of customer service is shocking and speaks volumes about what they think of their customers. As for the August box being dispatched, well I guess September's money has to be paid before that becomes a possibility.....

Avoid!!!!!!!!!! They don't send out the boxes and don't reply to emails or social media comments. Had to open a fraud dispute with my bank to get my money back. I don't know how they are allowed to advertise on social media. Total scammers
Didn’t get what I paid for…
Paid for a three month subscription for a Christmas gift - only received two boxes. So disappointing.
Tried to contact via email time and time again, no response. I’ve given up.
Don’t waste your money. Extremely Poor customer service. Didn’t get what I paid for.
Avoid this company.
Cancelled my subscription and asked for a refund on 10th July, three days after they took money. Reason being they told me the next box would be delayed due to supply issues.
A box arrived over a month later on 15th August and when I complained Nazia told me the box was being processed when they took the money so I couldn’t have a refund. This was a lie as they had already told me they had supply issues.
Asked again for a refund and after numerous emails was told I was getting confused.
Asked more than once for my complaint to be passed to a manager but Nazia ignored these.
Worried now that they will continue to take money even though they have confirmed my account is cancelled, as they seem like a bunch of cowboys who are only interested in grabbing your money without offering any sort of customer service.

Awful customer service. Not easy to cancel. waited 2months for a box after payment with promises of compensation for the box but never anything else for the two month delay which was promised.
Useless to try to communicate with, 2 week response to an email and no direct contact number.

I joined back in May, the first box took nearly a month due to supply issues which was understandable. The June box however was also delayed by over 2 weeks. I cancelled my subscription in July as they could not send me a nutrional list, stating which snacks were suitable for vegetarians. It states on their website FAQ page, that they send you a nutritional list stating which items are suitable for vegetarians.
When I enquired about the reason they have this on their website but they don't provide one, and their own customer service agents are saying they do no, i was ignored.
This led me to cancel my subscription in July, we are now in the middle of August and I have received an email stating my July box is being dispatched.
It was my first (and possibly last) monthly food subscription service. The customer service has been atrocious, they lie on their website, and boxes always seem to be delivered late!
Worth the wait! They're catching up now...
Lots of recent reviews saying this box is a scam. It isn't. I've been with SnackSurprise for over a year and the main issue after Covid has been sourcing the items for the boxes, which they made clear in emails etc - they said the box would be late so no need to inundate them with emails, we've just had to be patient. It seems to be catching up again now too. I've received all my boxes, albeit late, but that isn't from a lack of them trying! Once you receive the boxes they are fun to go through, comparing the items to the descriptions in the leaflet which also gives you a few facts about the country. Our little ones get so excited when I tell them our box will arrive today, and then we will sample each item and share our opinions on it. Other than the delayed boxes, this is a great service and much fun!
