Terrible customer service from start to finish, my sister in law had to wait nearly a year for her new sofa, constant lies and excuses as to why it wasn’t arriving, given numerous dates and times for delivery but guess what.. no sofa.
Can never get through on the phone.. they take it off the hook and … Don’t even bother going down to the shop they always close!!! What a shambles of a company! They should be shut down! They are complete scammers. Go to a genuine sofa company.. yes the wait is a while but at least it’s guaranteed.. unlike SOFAWORLD WALES. AVOID AVOID.
0 stars and I will never reccomend this place and will make sure I do everything to spread the word around how awful they are.
Oh and also to mention.. all this time she was waiting for her sofa they had her money… and refused to give it back as the sofa was ‘on its way, stuck in Italy or no tracking information is available at this time’ In the end she had to claim back from her card. Disgusting.

I ordered a three piece suite on 2nd November 2021 said it would be delivered end of January 2022, it didn't. Had phone call 15th February 2022 saying the furniture would arrive 4th March 2022 so would I pay the balance owing which I did. It didn't arrive again and every time I contacted them they said they would chase it up and let me know but they never did. This went on for months with lies and non communication from them and then they stopped answering the phone. I reviewed what I should do on line and sent them a legal letter giving them a further 6 weeks to fulfil our contract .After 6 weeks I called in the shop for a refund and was told the card machine was broke. |When I Asked for owners phone number was told he was seriously ill and not taking calls. I have now claimed my money back from my credit card. Please don't buy from this company they have no customer service and don't care about their customers

Absolutely disgusting company rip off don’t buy from them bought sofa arrived wasn’t Suitable now they are ignoring me and have blocked me on social media give me a faulty receipt even charged me 40 pound for devilery told me it was 20 and then charged me an extra 20 on the arrival liars thieves only now blocked me to get out of what they done but they ain’t getting out of it as citizens advice is on the case to take it further

Horrendous experience to date!
Horrendous experience to date. We ordered our sofa on the 15th January 2022, it was first expected on the 29th April but following lots of different excuses it was damaged leaving factory. Promised delivery again for 5th May and not delivered. Requested a refund on the 5th May and still waiting.
Customer service is non existent. Paul Reynolds the Director has not once picked up the phone to resolve this situation. We have been blocked from messaging on social media. Mobile number we have goes unanswered as does the shop phone most days. Endless messages and chasers done daily with false promises made. Most stressful retail experience we have ever had. We thought shopping local to family run business was best for service and supporting local companies - How wrong we were!

Update: Afternoon of the 18th May. Refund now received.

Terrible experience. Horrendous lack of communication. Lady i saw in the shop was great. However, when it came to delivery, it was shockingly bad. Every time i wanted an update, i had to email, text, phone multiple times over a week or more to get a response. first delivery date was incorrectly given and i didn't find out until the night before that the delivery was still two weeks away. i then had no information for days and then had to chase for days to get a response for new delivery. this was promised for a Thursday morning and was promised photos before hand. After more chasing, i got a photo of a half finished sofa Wednesday night. waited in all morning and got a call after lunch with the news it would be late in the day for delivery and footstools were not made due to a fault with the fabric. When i got angry about this poor communication, their suggestion was just to refund deposit and leave me without a sofa!? Even when they were delivered two weeks later, i had zero communication or replies when i wanted to know what time they would arrive, only call was 5.30pm from the delivery driver when he was 30 minutes away. Extremely frustrating. i have been asking for a detailed invoice for three weeks and they will not supply it....compared to the prices on the website, i have paid higher than they advertise on the website and i still have not received the invoice to help me understand why i have paid what i did!?

Very impressed with my experience at Sofa World! Staff were very helpful when my partner and I visited, and helped us with all of our questions. Lots of option and so happy to have the sofa tailored to our needs.

All of the other places had such a long wait on their products, so was very impressed when the sofa came on time and exactly what we ordered.

Will definitely use again, and recommend to friends 👍

I would give 0 if I could.

I purchased a sofa from sofa world Wales back in December during the lockdown whist purchasing the sofa the communication was great! But as soon as the order was placed it stops there, you purchase a sofa and they give you a rough time scale I was told 6-8 weeks.

Eventually after the 8 weeks I enquired I called all the time in which one lady would answer and be helpful but was always palmed off with ‘I’ll talk to the manager and get back to you’, they never got back to me. They never call you to inform you of delays until the day before or the day your sofa is to be delivered they make promises they can not keep and they constantly lie about covid as an excuse, they regularly say how they need to shut for a deep clean and then I drive past and their doors are open and customers are in and out as normal.

My sofa was a lovely sofa but not what I wanted they were supposed to fix it in which I got ignored again and again, they gave me the wrong feet the feet were not level to the floor so after being promised for months that they were changing supplier and manufacturing themselves instead their quality still was not the standard they make out to everyone online.

As much as it’s lovely to support local bigger furniture companies avoid the lies and problems

What an absolute great company, very grateful service down to amazing products, amazing service very helpful and friendly team. The delivery was super fast and absolutely brilliant at getting my sofas up into my flat as I live on on top floor they guys was brilliant. Absolutely over the moon. Definitely recommend.

went to sofa world wales on their open day and the staff were so helpful and lovely, we ended up placing our order that day. Such a wide range of colour and size options which was perfect for us. We had an issue on delivery day and the staff dealt with it straight away and now we are over the moon with the sofa - the quality is amazing for the price paid. Would definitely buy from here again in the future!

Can’t thank Paul Reynolds and Sofa World Wales enough, I’m absolutely obsessed with my sofa, exactly what I wanted and more. Cannot WAIT for the delivery of my grey chair and foot stool to match.. Absolutely amazing company and amazing service. From start to finish, constant communication throughout. Held my sofa in storage for 2 months extra due to some issues with house renovations. Can’t recommend enough, made furnishing my first home a total pleasure!

I ordered a mattress during the last week in November and it was delivered within 48 hours. Absolutely amazing service, best mattress I’ve ever had and at a much more reasonable price than any competitors. I was so impressed with the service I ordered a sofa, when the company was let down by a manufacturer, I was contacted immediately by Felicity who designed a bespoke sofa for me via video call. I can’t wait for the sofa to be delivered and will leave a full review!
