I've done business a few times with…

I've done business a few times with Sonner and they have a great selection and competitive prices. Would definitely do business with them in the future.

EDIT: Since I wrote this review, they took two more of my pre-orders and then decided to shut down. Not one refund. Not one bit of information to the customers. They even redid their website, despite knowing that they were going under (they had liquidators since October 2022) and acted like everything was just fine. Screw this company and their owner.

Excellent customer service!

Pre-ordered an item and it was running a few weeks late so I contacted as I purchased the item as a birthday present. They got back to me straight away and offered to put the funds of the item onto a gift card and increased it to £40 when I had only spent £23. So I went on and ordered something else to gift and it got delivered the next day. Would definitely recommend this company and the customer service is excellent!

Do not pre order anything from these guys I had pre ordered over 500£ of figures…

I had pre ordered over 500£ of figures from this company going back to November 2021 they were supposed to be with me in April 2022.

They never arrived I contacted the seller on social media no response was ever received.
I emailed the seller multiple times a guy called Scott finally responded offering to convert my money into In store credit.
This wasn't what I wanted since the items I wanted can't be guaranteed before December 2022
I asked for a full refund for my orders.

The seller has stopped responding to emails I will update as it progresses.
So far I have contacted PayPal now the pre orders are out of date to claim through them.
The bank are investigating if they can charge back
I have also made a formal complaint to the trading standards and other agencies.
But as of right now it looks like small claims court will be the only option.

Do not pre order with these folks indeed don't order with them at all if you want your items.

Direct email quote as I can't add screen shots your rep describes the customer service received as poo... Not really professional at every stage but quite obviously we have very very different ideas about what professional is.

I can only apologise for the delay in your order and poo response times! I have recently taken over this department and am working hard to push through the backlog, we are now in a position where we can respond much faster on emails.

All being said I am here to assist you now, I have looked into all the listed orders and gathered up everything I can see on them. I have liaised with the supplier for GI Joe and Princess Bride who have massively impacted us with MIA deliveries and poor ETA times, and they are currently unable to guarantee delivery to us before December of this year. I appreciate this is frustrating, and I feel your annoyance with this.

We currently have in the warehouse the GI Joe Cobra Viper Python Patrol figure, and the Princess Bride Fezzik Megafig. Both of which I have sent to dispatch to get sent out to you asap tomorrow. To resolve this for you if you do not wish to wait any further, I have added up the value of all of the remaining items on the orders as follows:
#24122 - £142.94
#30983 - £24.98
#32246 - £137.97
#33872 - £55.17
#35992 - £22.01 ( These are deposit preorders for early 2023 )

Total value - £383.07.

You are of course welcome to a refund, which will take up to 14 business days to process currently. However due to the poor experience you have received I would like to offer you the option to have an inflated balance loaded onto a gift card that you could perhaps use in the future? We have a 50% insurgence sale starting this Friday at 6pm on a lot of in stock only items that may be of interest to you, this gift card would be to the value of £400.00. I have attached images of our current in stock GI Joe range in the warehouse for convenience, there will be a lot of other products in this sale also.

Please let me know what you would like to do, I can only apologise again for how this has been handled prior."

So we are at the stage where sonner keeps saying they have issued all refunds yet when I showed them each order vs what was refunded (I literally had to break it down for them because they didn't know or couldn't figure out what they were doing) This after I had told them multiple times which order was for what they just didn't get it even with screen shots.

they now have stopped responding to emails. Still owing me for orders they didn't complete

Today being the 21st, this is well within the 14 business days for it to be actioned. Your refunds will be individually actioned and refunded over the coming days which is still inside the quoted time period as they were always going to be.

Ordered from Italy, keep in mind the customs fees!

I ordered two funko pops on this site, because I could't find them anywhere else for a lower price, and it was a great price, even 50% off the original price, so very affordable. I live in Italy, so I knew the shipping would take some time, but it was't too long, it took about 12 days. But I forgot to keep in mind that our postal service might have required some custom fees, and I had to pay them unfortunately, but the overall cost was worth the wait and the price.
So, if you live outside the UK, I recomment that you keep in mind any customs fees you may have to pay.

Pre-ordered a Lola droid animatronic - purchase was easy, paid all upfront, then had to do nothing until it was dispatched. Received it within 48 hours. Perfect process, no complaints.

Scam

These guys forgot about Dre for some reason...
At the moment I was supposed to get 3 Funko Pops that they were up on pre-order, were paid for and their release dates was 31.07.2022 and 31.08.2022.
For some reason I ended up without 35 quids and no trace of my items. It shows that they're sold out.
Not sure what to think about these people and they're physical store is a bit too far from me so can't confront them face to face.
If someone from the company sees this, fix it or give me my money back :)

Don’t buy anything from there go literally anywhere ells

If you can shop anywhere ells do so don’t shop here been waiting to get something from them for a full years and a have of nothing just complete silence had to contact them on Emil and Fb a few months ago just to be told that they have been having problems with manufactures and suppliers and that they don’t actually have a damn clue when il get my order because there not actually chasing them up am paraphrasing off corse a bit I’d honestly be fine waiting if they’d at least kept me updated on what’s happening beyond oh if you check our site you can see what’s upcoming

With young children to please and keep interested was difficult until we found sonnertoys . So much to choose from and at a very affordable price now they are in their element well done to all at sonnertoys will recommend to our very large friends and family network .

Bad for Pre-Orders

They seem fine if the item is in stock but I waited over a year for 3 pre-ordered Funkos with no updates. Only good thing I can say is that their customer service is polite and doesn't haggle over refunds.

Avoid ordering anything

Made my order last year, the items were not available for more than a year and they couldn’t tell me when they’ll be available, so decided to cancel my order. At first the communication was okay and the order was cancelled. But after almost two months from the cancellation I still haven’t received my refund. I have written at least 5 emails and they are still saying, that they are doing the best they can and that I should receive my refund really soon. Still nothing happening and now they’re not even replying to my emails. Horrible customer service, avoid this company at all cost.

I have been waiting months and months for a product that I have paid for I've sent many emails to you about this as your customer service skills are to be desired I get no regular updates I get the same emails back off you with scripted messages I have asked you what the company has said about when they will be sending the product out as you say you keep in regular contact with them but you avoid answering my questions all I get is its down to our suppliers and do you want a refund or a different item worst customer service I've ever dealt with

"worst customer service I've ever dealt with" is extremely unfair, you were refunded promptly.

Sonner Toys pre order disaster

In May this year I pre ordered 2 action figures costing a total of £42 which included shipping. They were supposed to be in at the end of June. Come mid July I still hadn't received them so sent email. I asked were these items still coming in and if so when? The assured me it was a supply issue and hopefully they would be in soon. Meanwhile I see the items I ordered available in other online stores. So I stay patient for few more weeks and still nothing. I send another email but again get evasive unsatisfactory responses. Yesterday I contacted them and told them my patience is at an end. They offer me a refund or store credit. I accepted the credit and placed an order for similar items to the ones I originally ordered, same manufacturer, same price. But then Sonner try to wack me with an extra £30 in shipping cost. I emailed them again asking why the shipping cost had gone from £7 to £37. They then fed me a complete pack of lies saying shipping costs had increased substantially. Really??? Increased by 400% in the space of 3 months. They are a dishonest company and I advise everyone to give them a big miss.

This was clearly explained to you in our lengthy email conversation, that although the cost of international shipping has been steadily rising for years we had been charging the base rate of £7 for years. This was not sustainable as a business so we made the decision to accurately charge for international shipping a few weeks ago. In Australia's case, £31.99. So to clarify it's not a "pack of lies" as you suggest, the cost has been rising steadily over years, we had just kept the low postage cost for far too long. At the time of your reorder the new shipping fee would apply. You have also been refunded in full.

A* service and packaging

Most recently, I ordered 3 exclusive glow in the dark Moon Knight pops from them and they were amazingly packaged and arrived super quick. Prices are extremely good compared with other retailers.

Would definitely recommend and I'll be using them for all my future pop purchases!
