Efficient Maintenon call
Visited by Adam as PV breaker was tripping during hot weather. He explained why this was happening and made the upgrade required. Very friendly and efficient.
Also feedback that the standard breaker was being changed as part of future installations due to this issue.

Great comms throughout the process
Great comms throughout the process. The guys who turned up to fit it were excellent and asked if I had any questions or concerns before they left. The electrician (Cam I think his name was) especially did a great job. Ours was a challenging setup with 2 separate sets of panels on the opposite side of the house to the fuse box, but he made it work and the finish was excellent.

Battery installation
The electrician arrived on time to install a battery to my existing solar panels. Everything went to plan, all debris was cleaned up at the end, all packaging removed and a clear explanation given of the new system and how to monitor the performance on the app.

Great experience
From the beginning everyone was very efficient and very friendly. They answered our questions, did alternative quotes when asked and kept appointments. The work was all done in a day and the scaffolding came down 2 days later. We are very pleased with the solar panels and battery. Highly recommended

Great service
Really pleased with the solar and battery installation that we've now got, the 4 guys that turned up to do the work, worked really hard to get everything up and running within a day - very neat and tidy electrical install, scaffolding taken down within 48 hours too.

Our PVand battery system
Our PVand battery system has been in place for 10 weeks. While only 5 panels,we are achieving c 79,% self sufficiency,and all working as described. Very pleased with the system and the whole process of installation. An essential supplement to our recently installed ASHP.

Joe recently installed our solar…
Joe recently installed our solar battery, inverter and completed the associated electrical work, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
From the moment he arrived, he was friendly, professional and incredibly polite. He took the time to explain what he was doing and, more importantly, why he was doing it, all in a way that was easy for us to understand without ever being patronising.
He worked hard throughout the job and was exceptionally considerate. Before putting any music on, he asked if we'd mind, which might seem like a small thing, but after having plenty of tradespeople at the house over the years, it really stood out. He was easily one of the most courteous we've had.
The quality of the work looks excellent, everything was completed neatly and tidily, and he made sure to clean up before he left. He also took us through the finished installation, explaining how everything worked and answering all of our questions.
A genuinely nice guy who clearly takes pride in his work. We'd be very happy to use Joe again and would recommend him without hesitation.

Great solar installation
My solar installation went very well, the company really cares about the customers, I think. Now generating tons of electricity for myself and exporting to the grid via smart export guarantee. Just an advice to people who will be looking for an export provider. Octopus appears not to be the most beneficial one (they pay a lot during the evening hours only, when you don't generate a lot). According to my research in May 2026, Ecotricity provides the best benefit.

Excellent experience from initial contact to final installation
From initial contact to final commissioning I've been tremendously impressed by both the installation of solar panels (many thanks to Archie and Joe who worked so hard and did a fantastic job) and the customer support team including Rose, Amber and Jade. Everyone I spoke to was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. It was a pleasure to speak to them and nothing was too much trouble. Such excellent customer service is, sadly, very rare in the UK now so South East Solar are a refreshing change! Based on my experience I would most certainly recommend South East Solar & Electrical to others. So thanks to all there for a job very well done!

Fabulous solar and battery system installation
We've just had a 16 panel (across two roofs) and 15.6kWh battery system installed by South East Solar & Electrical, and they did a fantastic job from start to finish - and a really good price with the Switch Together scheme. The installation is very tidy, and everything's working flawlessly. Particular shout-out to Cam the electrician, who was super friendly and helpful. One part (the battery junction box) wasn't available at the depot on installation day, so he left us with the rest of the system fully working, and then came back for 7am the next working day to get the last part installed and the system fully commissioned (even though he was travelling all the way from Kent to Cambridge!). Couldn't be more pleased with the whole process.

I really cannot speak highly enough of South East Solar & Electrical. We had a 10 panel system fitted with battery and process from start to finish has been so simple. Installation from Cam (electrician) was so good. Came up with a plan so that we could get the battery out of the way and went the extra mile in order that we were completely satisfied. Ronnie and Jamie (roofers) fitted the panels quickly and tidily. All were so friendly. Everything had been seamless from initial contact, plans, survey, pricing and installation.
