Customer Service was fast and friendly. He renewed my ad another month because I didn’t get any renter. SpareRoom keeps sending emails about potential renter that I had been contacting. Lots of extra work. Downside of this portal is that it doesn’t limit the potential renters to indicate 3 or 4 preferred areas or zip codes. It is wasting lots of time for renters and landlords.

Somehow The dates of renewal were confusing me, so I called and spoke with Noah and he was very prompt and quick about renewing for another 28 days which will help a lot so we can complete our mission with spare room. Thank you so much Noah!

The response I received over the last 2 days was incredible. Overwhelming would be a better word. They were all very good leads. I listed with 4 other places and all of them put together could have been counted on one hand.

Very easy to navigate, and because of this, it’s easier to find what you are looking for!

They don't even want to meet up discussing terms what's expected definitely red flag
But I have met decent people on Spare Room

I have had difficulty finding a reliable and genuine platform where I can find real living options that are within a reasonable budget. Other apps and websites are just out for gimmicks, SpareRoom verifies and connects people with real people.

I signed up, made an Ad, sent out a couple inquiries, went to bed, and woke up the next morning to several messages from people wanting to rent me a room :) the 1st one actually worked out right away. Im a freaking SATISFIED CUSTOMER for sure hahaha
And id been looking for something so very long in other places, and was convinced that my budget (income) for a room of my own was just too low to live in nyc...
