Have made several purchases now from Springfields and have found both the level of service and the quality of goods they offer to be uncommonly good. Fantastic company

Fantastic company. I had an item that needed replacing. The assistant manager Hayley was superb and arranged for the exchange swiftly and kept me updated with what was happening. Very highly recommended. Well done.

Abysmal customer service

Abysmal customer service. Ordered a Mora Carbon Steel Bushcraft knife and it has started to rust within 3-4 weeks of purchase. Has not been used and kept in safe place.
Asked for return and was told in very condescending email that I should've looked after it better, despite no care tips being supplied.
Go elsewhere!!

Very good shop I ordered a few things a couple of different times and each time I got them no hassle I'll be ordering more from Springfields only thing is some items have a video and these videos have a price and the price listed is different like the pistol crossbow the video says it's £9.99 and the listed price is 14.99 that's the same with the bolts they're an extra £2 compared to the video this should be updated other than this small thing everything is great from Springfields great quality and service

Amazingly Helpful Ginette

Ginette was brilliant- I asked a question about what I knew as a ‘bushknife’ 40 years ago- a Grass Slasher in todays parlance. Springfield’s don’t sell them, but excellent customer care to tell me the name that will help find what I want!

Very professional and excellent…

Very professional and excellent service. I am suprised to see negative comments as I've purchased two products separately and they have both been dispatched within 3 days and delivered in one day through DPD. The first order took a little time as it was over the coronation holiday but I spoke with someone on the webchat facility and they reassured me it was going to be dispatched the following day as it they were expecting it from the warehouse and like they said it was delivered as they said. I think some negative reviews must be from disgruntled people who have been a little suspicious maybe? Either way I would recommend.

Fantastic company to do business with.

I would only ever write a review if the service or product were beyond what I expected.
The service and communication from Springfields has been exceptional. From sorting out an order issue to replacement product because of manufacturer issue, Springfields have been on the ball, proactive and resolved everything without fuss.

I bought a crossbow for my husband for…

I bought a crossbow for my husband for Christmas on the first use it broke contacted springfields who said they would send a new one out and for me to return the broken crossbow, I was pleased that an exchange was being sorted but not the 10 mile drive to the nearest place to get it returned. The second one came and yet again on a short time using it the same thing has happened, I contacted Springfield who yet again wanted this back but wanted to investigate the fault and would not replace until that was done. Just a complete hassle again!!

Excellent customer service

I received an item that was damaged in the post. I emailed customer service to report the issue. Customer service responded the very same day to offer me a refund or a replacement. I received my replacement within 48 hours. I am most impressed!

Fantastic customer service

Fantastic customer service. Very speedy communication when they were not able to verify my age using electoral register. I was also delivering to two addresses which could have caused some confusion but they were able to sort this without issue. Fast delivery as well once this was sorted. Would 100% recommend, I will be shopping here again.

Awful

I ordered a 13” survival knife as I’m in the British army and I wanted something to hang on my wall in barracks, however I ordered it on the 29th, paid extra for the next day delivery and it’s the 4th today and not a single sight of the parcel, I’ve sent 3 emails now and not one has been replied to, I want a full refund and to cancel the order or the £4.99 for the next day delivery back and my knife

One of the worst companies I have used

One of the worst companies I have used, package was returned and not delivered. A full refund was not given even tho I am entitled to one.
The terms of delivery were not stated at the point of sale.
In my opinion a bunch of thieves to be avoided.

Cutting Edge customer service even in the face of Courier issues

Had it not been for the efforts of their excellent customer service person Hayley then this might have been a 1 or 2 star review, but small businesses like this deserve a break when they made every effort to rectify mistakes made as quickly as they could.

I ordered a penknife for my son for part of his Christmas box. The package got later and later. DPD whom I know as Delivering Parcels Disastrously stayed on their usual form and took around a week to deliver a "next day delivery".

I'd emailed Springfields and mentioned the postage which was promptly refunded due to the wait. Gold star there chaps!

Then the package turned up.
It was clearly a mix up. A bunch of items none of which resembled a penknife.

I emailed their customer service again suggesting they called me. Within 20 minutes I had a call from Hayley.

He apologised profusely, told me to keep the items they'd accidentally sent and then immediately sent out the correct item.

True to form DPD still took 5 days to deliver the correct package but top marks to Hayley who was excellent. Credit to his company.

Well done!
