These artists aren’t starving..

The prices are very reasonable and the attention to detail in every box is extraordinary. I appreciate the letter I receive with each box and it feels as though with each box my relationship with my stylist is growing. It’s like we are becoming best friends and it really shows they care with how delicate and precise they are to make sure the outfits tell a story. Each box is unique to me and my tastes and I’m learning new combinations for pairing my clothes. Also, the clothes aren’t just cheap clothes, they give you nothing but the finest.

Horrible experience!

After receiving my first box, I was informed of Stately's no refund policy all the while looking at a wardrobe that clearly couldn't be retailed anywhere. They offered to replace the clothes, but still no refunds. I told them I would accept the exchange, but please cancel all future orders. Well the replacement order came in and I moved on with a new set of clothes I won't wear. Tonight another box arrived noting my card was charged again and I'm back in clothing hell with this obviously desperate company. I even put my cancellation in writing via email that was acknowledged. What a complete waste of time this company is!!!!

This plan was confirmed during a phone call, which placed the order outside of our cancellation window. A renewal reminder was also sent prior to your 11/21 shipment.

Regarding your exchange, your stylist worked with the preferences available in your profile and the notes provided, which included: “dark shirts,” “Tommy Bahama fan,” “sneakers rule,” and a preference for “pullover fleece and button-ups for winter.” Beyond this, we didn’t receive additional detailed feedback, but we’re always more than happy to update and refine style preferences whenever needed so we can better tailor future selections.

I have had great experiences with Stately. The clothing my stylist selects are fantastic. The stylist listens to my wants and needs regarding clothes and fashion and puts together great items with instruction on mixing and matching for versatility. The idea of ordering surprise clothes…

The idea of ordering surprise clothes according to preferences and aided by a styler seemed speaking. The reality did not match the expectation. I receive the same pants three times and the exchange process was difficult and complex. You can only exchange the clothes once and that will be fine, but unfortunately, they sent me clothes that I already have received from them. I would not recommend.

Don’t waste your money with Stately

Don’t waste your money with Stately. The styles they sent fit poorly, and did not match the style and quality of their branding. To make matters worse, they offer no refunds, so your only recourse is to send back for “exchanges,” all but ensuring the same experience in a slightly different color of fit. Do not recommend. Save your money and just shop off a site that offers a “buy this style” option like a suit supply (not the most affordable option, but demonstrates the concept). These sites are going to send you the exact clothes you expect, and have refund/return policies if something doesn’t work out so you aren’t stuck with $300 of garbage you won’t wear.

UPDATE:
In response to the reply below, this is exactly what I am talking about. Went back and forth with customer service about refunds and all you are going to get is another roll of the dice with their 'stylists.' Again, don't bother.

Blown Away. Fantastic!

I just recieved my first box and was blown away. I used the holiday special and received a second set of clothes for the next 5 boxes. I was so pleased that I asked my next box to be sent early. I was so disappointed

I was very surprised, unpleasantly so, by my “Presidential” box. All these ads I saw on Facebook showed outfits that I thought looked cool. I sent screenshots of 5 different outfits, blazers, etc. to my “Stylist”. When we spoke he asked if I preferred color or more dark clothing. I told him I preferred color, like the pictures I sent.
When my box arrived and I opened it everything was black, dark gray, dark maroon. Nothing looked anything like any of the pictures I had sent. It seemed like someone hit the clearance rack at TJ Max and boxed it up.
I’ll be returning the entire shipment and cancelling the service. This was extremely disappointing. :-(

Free returns/exchanges they say. Only on one thing per box. Everything else gets a 20% restocking fee. Doesn't matter the reason. Pants and shoes don't fit? Free exchange for one of the two. Now you gotta decide how much you want those pants. Do you want to roll the dice and pay $70 instead of losing $50? Or do you wanna cancel your service and just shop in stores again where you can try clothes on again without worrying that you're gonna throw away hundreds of dollars on a dice roll.
Yea, I think I'll go back to the stores. Also they will charge you for the next box a week after you receive your first box. No refunds ever! So be careful!

I was a member for 3 months

I was a member for 3 months, did not receive one piece of clothing that would wear. Poor quality, poor styling and really frustrating return policy. Basically you return something and they send you an extra item in the next box. The problem is all it was bad. I was suckered into doing it a second month by the big discount they gave me when I tried canceling. Please learn from my mistake and just cancel if you don’t like it!
