I am so angry right now. Having been with Stericycle for 5 years, I called and emailed them to advise I am moving out of my premises and will not be working - therefore need to cancel. I was advised to put this in writing, which I did. I was told I needed to give 3 months notice or pay an early termination fee of £26. I chose to pay the cancellation fee rather than monthly payments until April.
My collections are quarterly so it’s not like they need to actually do much! I have just received an email to say that the 3 months notice brings me up to April when a new contract begins, therefore I am tied in for another year and need to pay £93.61 in cancellation fees! Disgusting. Companies really do want money for NOTHING. I am opening a new studio and will definitely not be using this company again. Disgusting way to treat long term customers. They literally collected 4 times per year, 2 bags at a time. What an utter waste of money and energy trying to sort this. What a disgrace.

I contacted Stericycle for a sharps collection for the office. Ollie took my initial call and has been helping me set up the service. He has been great, quick to respond to emails and setting up the account. If he is unable to help, he directs someone from his team to contact me to explain any questions. Amazing support from Ollie, would highly recommend Stericycle.
Animal abuse, it has come to my knowledge that a company that we use to collect our waste, has a contract with mbr acres. A puppie breeding facility who use these animals for Toxicity Testing by using Sterycycle for our waste removal makes us complicit and we can not be associated with such a company that approves of animal abuse and would urge any other company to think again, whilst ever Sterycycle continue to be associated with mbr acres Huntingdon Cambridgeshire

Absolutely DREADFUL company. I manage two (yes just two) care homes and after years of us using stericycle they regularly dont bother collecting our waste and blame not having the right address despite me having confirmed the addresses in SEVERAL complaint emails. How you can you trust a company that cant even write down two addresses succesfully! Complaining each time this happens takes hours and hours as all the departments are completely disjointed and they dont seem to know their bottoms from their elbows!! ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY!! Im currently trying to cancel their services and they cant even tell me if I am tied in and they dont even know how to cancel their own services! its like a comedy sketch from little britain - I have never known such utter incompetence in my life!!

When I request a collection they are first class in arranging a replacement and the person I deal with is very clear in their communications with me. I have never had any issues at all.
