Bad comments every time calling There's no correct response. The money I paid a year ago hasn't dealt with my case in two years. Now I want to get the money back. I haven't heard back

I received letters in the mail from Capital One concerning 7 different accounts that received power of attorney requests from you. My problem is that not one of these accounts are involved in my program. It was agreed that my wifes accounts would be left alone which didn't happen since that was 4 of the letters I received. Bottom line is that I have 7 accounts in the program and that is the ONLY accounts you should be dealing with. I will follow the rules but I expect you to do the same.

Was hesitant in the beginning signing up with a debt consolidation firm. A few bumps in the road, but things are progressing.

Stonepoint Legal Group, otherwise Strategic Financial Solutions, but they also trade under a bunch of other names, are the most difficult organization I have ever dealt with, and I have had to deal with US Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Transportation Security Administration. There's absolutely no accountability and getting a named contact is nigh on impossible. They've had thousands of dollars in fees and we are in a much worse situation now than we were when we hired them. I should have hired a local attorney.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I hired StonePoint Legal Group in 2017. I have paid them over $4,200. They did not go to litigation or court hearings on my behalf as promised in the contract I signed. My local lawyer "doesn't work for the company anymore". I have spent hours on the phone with customer service representatives. I received papers from the sheriff's office stating they were going to start garnishing my wages. The escalations manager, Megan called me and apologized profusely and said my case did not get moved to litigation as promised. Then, she proceeded to not call me back and ignored my emails for days. I am now getting my wages garnished. When she called me back, I asked for my contract to be cancelled, as I now have a lawyer. Today, another manager called offering me a refund, including the extra $2,000 I've paid that did not get used to settle my accounts. I was supposed to get an email with my paperwork in 10-15 minutes and never received one. Please save your money and don't trust them as I did. This is very disappointing, and is now affecting my everyday life.

*I cannot find the option to reply to Cyndi. I sent an email to the email listed on this page. However, I have called time and time again, been promised refunds time and time again and it NEVER happens. Not even a simple email.

Experience with Stone Point Legal Group was excellent.

I started with Stone Point in March 2019 and closed my account with them this December 2019. The issue that continued to rise for me was lack of communication. No one would inform you of any information from the creditors or could tell you anything about what the litigators were working on. The litigator would never call me back. I paid Stone Point faithfully over $400 per month for my accounts. I had to go to court three times by myself because I thought that I had legal representation and I did not. The customer service representative would read from the same script every time until I just had enough. Even when I thought one of my accounts had been settled and was being paid on I found out three months later by asking the representative about it that it was never paid on because some document was not received. I was not informed and assumed my account was halfway paid for. It was a six month payment. In the end, I spent 10 months with Stone Point and all I got was some bought sense. I gave them over $4,000 in that time and all I received back when I closed my account was a check for a little over $500.00. The money I gave them I could have spent settling my own account since none was settled using them. I would say be careful with them. Use at your own risk. Never again for me.

I’d been sending my correspondence to the wrong email and was so grateful for Sydney. She put me on hold until I forwarded the attachments and confirmed with me that she’d received them.

Only issue I see so far is that no one informed me that Stonepoint waits 6-9 months before paying on these debts. I was under the impression that they pay it off and I then pay them.

We feel Stonepoint has not provided the agreed upon service. Upon calling for updates on our account we get the same response of "we are working on a settlement agreement" but no legal council has contacted us or represented us when our case was filed in the courts. Gurstel law firm has filed lawsuits on both of our Discover accounts and all paperwork was sent to Stonepoint and followed with a phone call from us. We never received legal instruction or representation. We are very disappointed and wonder if we made a wise choice in working with Stonepoint. Sincerely James and Nancy Andrew

In the year that I have been sending money to Stonepoint, I have only received one email about an offer. In frustration I called Stonepoint and talked with a delightful young lady (don’t remember her name). She told me there was an offer from one of my creditors that was about to expire. We talked about the options and agreed to accept that offer. The 5 star rating is for that young lady. For Stonepoint in general, I would only give 1 star for customer service.
