STRØM Bikes 

We have two Stroem bikes and are quite happy with both of them. We use our bikes for our daily commute of around 15 km one way, and they work really well (plus you get a couple of compliments on your slick bike).
In winter, I'm especially delighted with the good lighting, but on a mellow spring-like evening I like to turn off the electric motor and just go on muscle power alone and am very happy about that option. The bike is light enough that you can do that as well without getting home all sweaty. The gear switch is very precise (I appreciate that) and the brakes got me out of trouble more than once. I love the saddle!
Support: We've had a few minor issues (one transport damage, and a couple of small things that were quickly fixed), and support usually got back to us within a few days.

The bike is very good ! The US one is lovely in every situation! I do almost 50km per day with it and I love my bike ! I got some issue with the motor and the led but it's ok now. The after sales service was a bit long in the beginning but now it's responsive and helpful ! Everything is in order now and i'll continue to use it every day !

I've had a problem with battery and it's been solved very quickly. The communication during this service time was excellent!

The support was quick, efficient and friendly.
The bike works as expected and better! It is a nice, clean and beautiful design - combined with high quality materials!

I ordered by STRØM Citybike on Indiegogo. Expectations were very high. The bike was delivered in good shape. I found it quite easy to do the assembly myself (tools were included with the instructions). I did the assembly in approx one hour. All components seem to be of very high quality. Two small screws were missing - I found some temporary ones myself and contacted STRØM support to ask for the right ones in stainless steel. The missing screws were in my mailbox after only 2 days - I like :-)

Riding the Citybike is awesome - it is a very fun bike to ride. The battery performance is in accordance with my expectations. Recently I upgraded to hydraulic brakes - I really recommend everyone to go for these brakes on the bike.
All in all I'm very happy with my purchase and the support seems very accessabel too - five stars from me. Thank you, STRØM

Love our two fat bikes. Sturdy construction and made out of quality parts.

Wanted to love Strøm but poor execution delivered a subpar product.

Pros:
1. For a 3-man company they sure accomplished a lot
2. I received the bike eventually
3. The bike has quality parts
4. At the time of purchase it was a good price

Cons:
1. Radio silence during the project, they gave regular updates but few had substance, and waited until Indiegogo sales were closed to give bad news about law changes regarding the EU and China - I get why they did it, but still left a bad taste in my mouth.
2. The bike arrived with significant shipping damage requiring about €750 in repairs to correct, at my own expense
3. Few or no responses when requesting help for the shipping damages, now, nearly 6 months later they are starting to get more active online

I CAN NOT RECOMMEND STRØM BIKES,

nor would I recommend any bike you can't test and buy at a local store where you can be sure of the quality in advance, plus know that you have a place to go immediately if things go wrong.

I've learned my mistake now, and I hope others don't suffer the same fate I did.

2 stars because: 1. The bike arrived, 2. The parts are of a good quality.

The Strømbike was my first e-bike ever. I didn't like the big batteries, attached to the frame at all usually affordable bikes. On Indiegogo I found the crowdfunding campaign from Strømbikes.....
Clean design, a discret in the frame hidden and nevertheless removable battery and beside all these benefits still affordable.
I had no crowdfunding experience so far, and off course, so it felt a little bit strange to pay the money, without having immediately a bike.
The recent campaign "Fat Bike" was also successfull ans so......I had to have this bike.
The promised delivery date could not being held and was postponed step by step to a final delay of five month compared the promised delivery date at the moment I bought.
But, so what....That's crowdfounding and beside all of these delays, the backers of the Citybike Campiagn on Indiegogo got continuesly a weekly update for a maximum transparency. I finally got my bike and the Strømbikes-Team learned something important for future campaigns.
What an amazing bike. Much better than expected....and a real beauty.
I though had some small issues with any noises caused by vibrations, but the general quality level is high as promised or even higher. I got telefonsupport by Nichlas, and after I had tighten once again all the relevant screws....silence.....except the soft hum from the e-motor.
I use the bike daily on the most of my ways. It's reliable and I not really miss anything.
Yes, other bikes might have some technical gimmicks but they cost twice as much.
So the circel finally is closed and I come to the beginning....why this is my first e-bike.
Im fully satisfied without any regrets.

It's fun to ride a Stroem-Bike even if it took some time and patience till I got it. Thanks for your good work, Stroem.

I funded the Stroem bike and was very impressed with their early predictions for delivery. It turned out, that because of tax laws imposed by EU, they had to relocate their production, which of course meant a long delay. I was sad and frustrated, but I have to admit that it wasn't their fault and that this is the nature of crowdfunding. It's not the first time I've experienced this or similar. When I finally recieved the bike, I was very happy with it. I rode it every day to work. Unfortunately, one day the ball bearing in the back wheel broke. I contacted Stroem and they replaced the engine and the back wheel without any hassle. I've been riding it ever since, and I'm loving it.

It’s been 16+ weeks since I’ve received my bike with a twisted fork. In multiple email inquiries to Strom staff, I keep getting a variation of “they’re coming soon to the USA” but still no fork. When I’m actually able to assemble the bike, I might revise this review, but I’m currently very unimpressed with the customer service.

I have been riding Strøm Bike for almost two years now. Great bike, which i'm really happy about. Superb customer service. Had an issue with my bike, and without a long annoying conversation that you often see, Strøm send me a new part straight away. Would highly recommend Strøm Bike for future bikers. 👌

Well, I gotta admit that I had a bumpy road with stroem but at the end of the day what I am looking for is progress, and progress they made. They have handled all my issues promptly and yes there was some issues here and there but I am very happy with my bike and that is the most important thing at the end of the day. I am satisfied wit hthe bike and I am also very satisfied to witness how the company has evovled and matured throughout the campaign. That's all I can ask for.

Having this bike for a few months and done over a 1000km with it. Its riding very well and fast. The quality of the bike is great and what I really like is its stunning understated Scandinavian design. Always getting a lot of positive remarks on how it looks! Hope to ride it for a long time!

I’ve done my first 1.000 km and I’m very satisfied. The cruise is very comfortable and imho the balance price/quality is excellent. Furthermore many people asked me more info, because the bike’s style is very beautiful.

Kick started the bike long ago (May, 2018), the waiting time was long.. But definitely worth it! What a bike to ride, fast, fun and very nice looking, at distance you can't see its an E-bike.

I had one problem on the bike, but that got fixed super fast within 2 days from the Strøm guys, so the support is good aswell.

I had only the bike for 3 months before it was stolen, but I'm definitely ordering another when the insurance is through. In the euphoria of the bike, I completely forgot to write down the bike number, but Strøm saved me as they had luckily wrote the number down.

Looking forward to riding a Strøm again.

I'm very happy with my bike. It's a lot of fun to cycle and the STROM team have responded to my queries throughout. Extremely good value for money as this bike is comparable to much higher-priced competitors. I'm now cycling much more than I ever have in the past.
