STRØM Bikes 

I funded their Strom City ebike which was slated for Sept. 2017 delivery. It's now May 2019 and still no bike. Emails will no longer be answered by Morten Birch.

I ordered the Strøm City through Indiegogo 8 months ago. To be honest, I don't know exactly how many times the delivery has been postponed. It is somewhere in a range of 4 or 6 times (I quit counting at this point). One might argue that it is a Indiegogo campaign, and delivery time is by definition rarely accurate. I fully agree to this. whereas this has been my third campaign on Indiegogo.
The reason for the one star rating is an accumulation of lies, false assumptions, lack of professionalism and incredibly poor supply chain management aswell as horrible communication. The whole thing with Ström is very dark. We can observe they put the main focus and resources in the marketing of the product. See, there's nothing wrong with delays due to circumstances the team can't control. Though, after a few delays and investors asking for clarification, they should be giving real answers on how they are or will solve the problem they are facing, and what is actually the problem they have at the moment. Instead, they keep giving false assumptions. As investors, we don't always expect good news, we are only asking for truthful news. Rather than making promotional videos and pictures of ultra-hight quality, just tell what is really going on with the production issues.
They regularly come up with unrealistic deadlines. I don't understand why you would mark a deadline if you now it will be nearly impossible to reach it on time. I wouldn't care if the bike was delayed for 12 months, however be truthful and transparant with your investors.

Strøm Bike is crowdfunding with promises of a great product. Due to changes in taxes for EU citizens which are beyond their control the estimated delivery has been delayed by many months. But the team tries their best to deliver the product as fast as possible without compromising quality. They provide updates on the progress every 1-2 weeks while learning from the backers on the amount of information they are interested in. The team provides pictures with good looking prototypes and from the factories and subcontractors. The final assembly of the bikes and delivery to the backers is now only a few weeks away. If the bike will live up to the promises this review will without doubt, be updated to a 5-star review.

Strombike is a nice crowdfunder, nice product (it seems like) they updating us continuously. There were some problems in the beginning with the regulary of updates, but nobody is perfect.The bike looks great! (of course we don't have the final product yet, but what they write is nice). Delivery was moved sometimes (from july 2017 to February 2018) but again, its crowdfunding. So theoreticly we can expect nothing. Anyway they posting pictures, explaining stuff, they let it look like as trustworthy as possible. Good guys from Strombike!

I'm on the waiting list for the Strom City; and all I can say is that if the bike is as good as this company's customer care, then I am in for a real treat.
These guys have bent over backwards like real contortionist's, way beyond what i would have expected, to make sure i got the bike i wanted.

People.....don't hesitate, this is a five star company.
Well... In the end i never got this bike, over the months waiting, these gugs showed their true cowboy colours...!!!

Great bike! I have tried it once and it was a really joyful ride :) A more thorough review will follow when I receive the bike. Customer service is excellent.

We bought 6 bikes for our hotel and restaurant . Our guests love the bikes. Great value for money.

I have now completed a third tour with my STROEM bike over a distance of more than 30 km. My experience with the bike is great, if not outstanding. The selected components work excellent.

Once I had to brake very hard and the brakes reacted top-notch. Then I could also could check the behavior of the bike at fast downhill. I had a maximum speed of 43 km/ h on the LED display. The bike was uniquely stable and did not flutter. I was very impressed by that, though that speed was an exception.

I feel very confident that I have chosen this EU model. The design is outstanding good. I had made some remarks to STROEM regarding the quality of the bolts for the fenders.

I am looking forward to have a good season driving when temperature and weather becomes better.
