For anyone thinking of booking a holiday here. Have insurance. Due to a covid scare we couldn't go the week we had booked, but I let suncamp know this straight away and ask to change the week to the following as I looked up the park we were going to stay at and there was plenty of places that I could have booked. The park said no availability. So I said I don't mind if it's the week after or could I take a credit for the following year. And again the answer was no! as you have no insurance with us. So no holiday and they happily take the money without offering anything. one very disappointed and upset family

A beautiful site in a stunning location the accommodation was lovely and we adored the extra seating on the decking area but we felt the kitchen was missing some useful items eg a toaster, microwave and maybe wine glasses would of been useful x

Website clear and easy to navigate. We have stayed with Suncamp before and know that their mobiles are maintained to a very high standard

The campsite enjoys a beautiful setting on the banks of the Mosel. We rented a bungalow tent which was clean and comfortable. The rent-a-tent representative was friendly and helpful. The toilet and washing facilities are of a high standard, but with only one block they are a long walk from the end of the campsite. The restaurant too is very good. The main drawback fo the campsite is that while it may have rules on quiet hours, these are not enforced and two of our nights were disturbed by very noisy parties going on until 4am.

A fantastic stay at Suncamp. The facilities were great and kept clean and safe with the current COVID-19 situation.
The tent pitches were secluded and private in lovely wooded areas.
A nice little break away.

Things don’t always go to plan, last year no one could imagine 2020 but whilst many companies have lead with customer service Suncamp has been left behind. My full deposit has been kept by suncamp £399
1. Suncamp offered to change my date of my holiday to later 2020 but after 3 emails to the company they said this was no longer possible and the time had expired on changing date, this could have been made a lot clearer to me when offers a lot of companies have changed their terms and conditions to increase customer services, canvas holidays called their customers and offered like for like 2021 holidays.
2. Suncamp also sent no correspondence any assurance about staying with them during l COVID and staying them.
My advice when booking a holiday look into how a company act when things go wrong. Suncamps reaction to Covid was money led and not customer service.

These are very difficult times for holiday companies but I am very pleased to say that Suncamp have resolved all my issues amicably. I look forward to camping with them in the future. Thank you .

Avoid this company they are not very understanding. We have paid our deposit for a holiday in France but can not travel due to the ferry from Guernsey to france being cancelled due to coronavirus.
I have requested a refund of the £630 deposit paid or a voucher for a holiday next year. They will not give either as the holiday camp is open and it is our bad luck that we are not able to get there.
We paid for their cancellation insurance but this does not cover this situation according to them.
Be very careful especially with the insurance if you must use this company. The email response time is very slow and the phone never gets answered or called back.
My experience with this travel company has been appalling. Their customer service is terrible. I had my holiday booked for the beginning of july to Bella Italia. I cancelled my booking on the 18th of may. I have since received 2 e.mails demanding remainder of my holiday be paid even though I have e.mails from suncamp confirming my booking has been cancelled. I was told I would get 100 pounds back from my deposit of 300+ this was at end of march and I still have not received anything! I have rang the company 3 times and got nowhere. I have sent several e.mails and got nowhere. They should be held to account! These are difficult times for everyone and people cannot afford these losses! For a service not received refunds should be given. If u want customers in future your customer service needs improving it's the only way to get returning customers. Really disappointed as we had stayed with suncamp before and had a really good exp.
We were told on the 13th March that as we had booked a sun lodge we could cancel up until the 31st March with no cancellation fee and get a refund. We cancelled by replying to that email and the booking disappeared from my account, so was cancelled. No refund was received, I then got an email telling me to pay the balance or I'd be passed to debt collectors. They said that was a system error and I would be getting my refund. On 26th March I got another email telling me that the"free cancellation till the 31st March was no longer valid" They are now offering a corona voucher, this scheme was put in place with SGR on 16th March and my cancellation was before that. After 2 emails and lots of messages on their facebook messages, Anneka phoned me yesterday, she was very very rude and absolutely awful with me when I told her I wasn't accepting a voucher. She reduced me to tears and I had to pass the call to my husband, he after getting no where asked to speak to her manager, who was more helpful,, but they are still refusing to give us our deposit back - that was yesterday. I am left feeling very upset and I need my money back in these difficult times.

I was informed I could not cancel my booking and request a refund only on Monday despite being previously advised that I could cancel the holiday until 31st March with a refund of our deposit. I received not communication about a change in policy and I have emailed several time and received no response.
In addition to this, the response to me questioning this on the telephone, by the operative, was very rude, dismissive, unsympathetic and a frustrating. She clearly failed to understand that I work hard to try and provide for my family and at this difficult time her awful attitude was another kick in the teeth.
A very poor service. I will take my complaint further.

This company a disgrace! Someone fradulently used my email to book with them. I informed them that this was the case, but nobody seemed bothered and up to now I've had no reply from them. So much for customer relations! So the outcome is that they have lost a booking that nobody will pay for and in my opinion they deserve it
