I am writing to formally lodge a complaint

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a highly frustrating experience I have had with your service. On November 27th, I visited an Apple Store to report that my iPhone screen had burned out. The staff inspected my device and confirmed that while the phone itself was fully functional, the screen indeed needed to be replaced.

However, due to the Black Friday period, I was informed that I would have to join a long queue with reduced engineering staff. As I have Apple Care+, they suggested a quicker alternative: contacting Apple Support to arrange a replacement device, which they assured me would take only two days.

That same day, I followed their advice and contacted Apple Support, completed all the necessary steps, and was charged $2,200 on my credit for the replacement. Unfortunately, I was then told that the two-business-day timeline had stretched to five business days, which eventually turned into seven days. By the seventh day (and the fifth business day), I had received no device, no email updates, and nothing at all indicating the status of my replacement. Upon calling back, I was informed that no phone had even been shipped from the warehouse in the first place.

After multiple escalations and discussions with senior managers, I was initially told to wait another 24 hours to receive a tracking number. I did as requested, but on the ninth day, after calling again, I was once more informed that no shipment had ever left the warehouse. This was despite previous assurances.

To make matters worse, I had been told the day before that I could cancel the process if needed, but the next day I was told it was impossible to cancel at all. Only after extensive discussions with various department managers was I finally able to cancel the entire process. On the tenth day, I returned to the Apple Store, had my screen replaced in person, and ended up trading in my phone for a higher-end model because of the inconvenience I experienced.

In addition, I want to emphasize that I have been paying for the AppleCare+ plan for the past two years specifically so that I could receive support whenever an issue arises. Yet in this situation, Apple provided no real help, leaving me without a phone for several days in a world where living without a phone is extremely difficult, especially when my work depends on it. Frankly, Apple’s performance in this scenario was very poor, and I would not recommend this experience to anyone.

iPhone 15 Max Pro doesn’t work,, a lot of information about bad touchscreen and it’s reception,

I have had three iPhone 15 Pro Max, since January 2024 ,,
for two years. I’ve talked to 15 customer service agents. They wouldn’t admit that there was anything wrong.
Go ask ChatGPT there’s so much information about the iPhone 15 and what a mess it is ,

The touchscreen ,, the reception ,, the syncing problems,,
I had to buy a new phone because Boost would not upgrade, they probably the worst Mobil company
and I’m so upset because I really would like to leave APPLE, but I have too much money invested, but this will be your last thing,,

Apple stole my money

Tried to purchase Apple Tv on my Apple box & Apple took the money but did not activate Apple Tv. Just spent a couple hours on the phone trying to talk to someone only then to be handled for another hour by another who had clearly had these complaints before. They like to make you believe they’re trying to help & that they want to help but they already know they gonna say you can’t get a refund. Just purchased a new box for my tv, new hp laptop &a new samsung phone. Clearly it’s the way forward!!!!!!! Apple products suck & their support staff are nothing but monkeys
Update - Just talked to 3 neighbours who also tried to purchase Apple Tv using the Accept Offer button on screen like I did & the exact same thing has happened to them so DO NOT PURCHASE A APPLE SUBSCRIPTION THEY DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS FOR PURCHASES THAT THEY CAN’T FIND ON THEIR END EVEN IF YOU SHOW PROOF OF PURCHASE

Fire hazard

I would like to provide feedback on a recent support experience relating to a safety issue with my HomePod mini power adapter.
Firstly, I want to recognise Richard, who was extremely helpful. +353 (21) 425 9200 He listened, understood the seriousness of the situation, and treated the incident with the level of care and professionalism you would expect from Apple. His support was genuinely appreciated.
However, when I called back, the experience was completely different.
The advisor who handled my second call was dismissive, uninterested, and rude. I had taken the time (over 1 hour) to report that an official Apple charger had overheated and scorched — something that could have caused a fire. Instead of treating this as a safety concern, he repeatedly asked, “Do you have any more questions?” even after I explained very clearly that I wasn’t calling with questions, but to report a potential fire hazard.
To make matters worse, the advisor sounded irritated and as though he simply didn’t want to be at work — it being a holiday weekend. His tone made it very clear he wasn’t engaged in the call. He dismissed the situation by saying the product was “five years old,” which is irrelevant in the context of a safety failure. The overall attitude suggested he couldn’t care less about the issue.

I have AppleCare+ which I needed to use…

I have AppleCare+ which I needed to use as 2 phones needed to be replaced due to damage. Unfortunately there is an issue with Apple payment mechanism (a link they send you to pay over the web). The end result is not being able to have replacement products despite paying for the insurance! On top of this you receive a very unaccommodating representative who pretends to assist but really does nothing to assist except waste your time. Avoid Apple at all costs!

Swift resolution and human connection 5*

My MagSafe cable stopped functioning after a short period of having purchased my laptop and I assuredly care for my products. Messaged Apple support and was put through to a customer service representative right away who acknowledged the store was a fair distance for me. I was provided with replacement cable in the post and returned the faulty cable with the free return box. Very happy with the service and the swift resolution i received in the matter. Credit to Apple for having implemented this policy.

Baffled by how awful Apple Support is.

Case #: 102745383899

I'm still shaking my head trying to understand the mentality with the SENIOR Apple Support Reps.

I've been having problems with my first ever Apple Watch. I do I.T., so I'm pretty good at troubleshooting. There is a problem that seems to be either hardware related or possibly a bug in iOS26 with respect to syncing music from iPhone to iWatch.

I've called in 3 times in 3 weeks, and each senior support rep escalates/submits logs to the Engineers. Then I never hear from anyone again. I have to call back, and escalate and get assigned a new Senior support rep, and they want to redo the work that the last previous rep did (which takes an hour, by the way), and then they submit it, and then I don't hear back (cycle repeats).

When I call in, the newly assigned rep doesn't at all seem surprised by the situation, offers no sympathy and just wants to go through the same motions. (What's that saying about the definition of insanity?)

This last time, I asked if we could escalate this to a manager or supervisor as this vicious cycle can't really be how Apple does things? And they said, nope, can't do that. (Or won't?). They just want to repeat the work and resubmit again.

I'm shocked that Apple's Trust Pilot rating is so low. But having now experienced it first had, 3 times in a row, I totally agree with it.

If they don't replace my watch without wasting any more of my time (recapturing logs that get submitted to nowhere - with no response), I'll never buy another Apple device again.

Trial baits and charges with no consent

Duolingo offered a free trial. I put an empty card for it just in case. Even though they promised notification before the subscription the renewal happened with no notifications, Also apple took the money from a different account other than the one intended. When I asked for refund they refused for no clear reasons.
It’s also now super difficult to reach an agent even on the communities they probably hired a couple of guys that replies to you in an unbelievable annoying manner highlighting all the points of how is it your fault.
Also even if you reach the agent it’s either they’ll punk you to give them a good review later do nothing or they’ll pretend the line is dropping with no help provided at all

Never kick on Apple free trial links

Apple has been charging me for an Apple TV subscription I never made and when I realized it the only allowed me to dispute 1 month of the charges despite that fact it clear I never even used the app. They sent a link for a free trial. I opened it, never subscribed or opened Apple TV again. They just took my money and that’s it….. bastards…..

Bad customer service,

I would like to report a serious issue that began after the last two iOS updates (26.01 and 26.1). I am using an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and since installing these updates, several key features have stopped working properly—especially background noise cancellation and certain audio-related functions. These issues have negatively affected the overall performance of the device.

In addition to the technical problems, I also contacted Apple Support to find a solution, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The support agent was unable to provide any effective assistance, and after I politely requested to escalate the call to a higher-level representative, she refused and ended the call on me. This was unexpected and unacceptable, especially coming from a company known for its customer care standards.

At this point, the issue has remained unresolved for two consecutive updates, and I sincerely hope Apple will look into this matter urgently and provide a fix as soon as possible. I’ve always relied on Apple products for their quality and reliability, and I hope this situation will be addressed promptly.

Thank you

Sent my sons iPhone from an Apple Store for repair and 3 weeks later no phone and no update. Contacted senior advisor at Apple called Ronald who basically couldn’t do anything useful to help and told to wait longer. Asked to raise a complaint and told to go to website. This is the last apple product i buy.

In regards to Apple repairs mail in service…

In regards to Apple repairs…

They sent me the wrong packaging to return my air pods instead of a tube for each air pods they sent me a white envelope sleeve I put them in there and the case in a box….i felt uneasy about sending them in this way as it was different to the packaging Apple described on their tutorial but I did it anyway and put the air pods in the white envelope instead of the tube as their wasn’t a tube.

A week later they only returned the case, when I contacted apple support they said the repair service had only received the case which was obviously untrue. Fortunately due to my honesty they said they will send me a new pair of air pods and they’ve clearly thrown away my other pair in the wrong return packaging they sent me.

So if Apple send you repair packaging that doesn’t match the tutorial don’t send your products in that and wait for them to send you the correct return packaging otherwise you will not get your items!

Loyal Customer of 20 Years Let Down by AppleCare ‘Biohazard’ Excuse

I’ve been a loyal Apple customer for nearly 20 years, spending well over £20,000 on iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, AirPods, watches and other products. I’ve always trusted Apple for its quality and customer care — until now.

I purchased a MacBook Pro 16" M1 with apple care, this cost over £3,000 and 3 weeks ago I sent for repair under AppleCare after a small accidental spill of orange juice. I was shocked to be told that Apple refused to repair or service it at all because it had been classified as a “biohazard.”

I completely understand that Apple must follow health and safety rules — but this felt like a flimsy excuse to avoid helping a long-standing customer. When I asked to see photos of the supposed “fungus,” I was refused and redirected to Apple’s legal team instead of Customer Service. That felt evasive and dismissive.

What shocked me even more was when the store manager told me he doesn’t see any difference between new customers and loyal customers — as if 20 years of commitment and trust mean nothing. That’s a disappointing stance for a company built on customer relationships and loyalty.

After two decades of choosing Apple, I expected at least some empathy, flexibility, or transparency. Instead, I’ve been left with a £3,000 laptop that can’t be repaired, no proof of the “biohazard,” and a sense that loyalty counts for nothing.

I’m sharing this because Apple needs to remember that loyal customers are the foundation of its success. Fairness should never mean indifference.

Incredible service

I know that, they really are a premium product, but the support I had (pairing two HomePods) was incredible. The advisor was patient and talked me through every step of the way. The whole process took nearly 30 minutes and I am very grateful for their help.
Highly recommended.
