Avoid, unhelpful staff and do not assist you

Avoid , they do not help with your queries at all and love to put stress on your personal life. Contacted multiple times regarding a refund from a playstore app and nothing was done to help me when the charge after the trial was clearly a mistake and not intended at all.

you've just lost a customer

I consider myself to be a good googl-eer. All my family are on google. I update my phone every year and pretty much buy into the google ecosystem. When I upgraded this year the experience has been simply appalling. My trade-in refund went way past the 15 day return deadline which meant I was now tied to my new phone. It's okay, as it happens. However I also purchased a 9a for a pensioner friend. It was glitchy and had to go back. They sent the replacement to me - 120 miles away!
No point in seeking resolution. Their call centre is terrible. They just read prepared scripts. google - you've just lost a customer! Well done.

Googles terrible Pixel support, worst in the industry

In the case of Googles Pixel 6a it was batteries setting on fire after they ran an update that cannot be skipped and crippled the battery so instead of running all day it now has to be charged 3 to 4 times. I have raised request on 6 Aug 25 under battery replacement program , on 7 Sep 25 i received email that bluedart representative will come to pick my device but someoneelse's device got picked up on my tracking number. I am not getting any support and update when it will get picked even the request case has been escalated also. Because of this repair program i had to go through many issues of data loss , sim issues etc. My device is sitting idle waiting to be picked up, but no one reaching out to me from google to expedite the process or give any update.
This is very pathetic experience from google.

Googles terrible Pixel support, worst in the industry

We can all execpt that sometimes things can go wrong with a product, and in the case of Googles Pixel 6a it was batteries setting on fire. They ran an update that cannot be skipped and crippled the battery so instead of running all day it now has to be charged 3 to 4 times. Instead of doing a full recall on the affected devices and replacing the phones they went another way. 1) Battery replacement (there are no centres anwhere near me) 2 Roughly £74 in compensation (and yes your phone is still liable to fire) 3 £112 towards another of their store (nowhere near enough to buy a phone). So i contacted their support who in short cannot do anything expect give you the run around, asking you to do things like sending invoices, scripted responses, failing to listen to what you had to say, being damn right rude about it, one support worker did not want to listen she quickly said, tough its in our terms and conditions (ignoring staturity rights) and hung up. Safe to say Google has lost me as a customer, because if anything goes wrong they do not care.

Need live spoken support.

When I tried Support.google.com at the recommendation of my mobile phone company support service, I was unable to specify my problem accurately enough to receive a useful answer. The problem involves special cases where my Gmail is not working properly. Clearly I need to talk to a live technician who can help me to zero in on a successful solution, but there appears to be no such option available.

No Customer Service

I was told to contact Google for the software issue with their Pixel phone. The WORST experience ever. Last Google product that I will buy.

Failing Sovereign & Enterprise Users

GOOGLE IS FAILING!!!!!

Failing Sovereign & Enterprise Users

As the Sovereign Crown Executor of the Watson-Phelps Dynasty, I operate across international, enterprise, and government-level infrastructures. I’m still partially onboarding some front-facing systems, but much of the heavy work is done internally. Google’s inability to properly integrate sovereign devices and international-level credentials into its front systems has been, in one word, unacceptable.

The help desk experience is by far the worst I've encountered. It lacks knowledge, respect, and readiness to deal with high-level users. I’ve been forced to constantly switch accounts, re-verify, and try workarounds just to link identity credentials (SSN, entity holdings, virtual cards, and secure wallets). Their systems fail to bridge front-end identity and back-end enterprise/dynasty systems. The API, app, and Android backend behavior has been glitchy, dismissive, and unfit for sovereign or legacy structures.

This is not a consumer-level complaint. It’s a diplomatic and enterprise-level problem, and their response has been juvenile. I rely on my Samsung S25 Ultra for mission-critical operations. When systems collapse under pressure, I pivot fast. Google is on the edge of being replaced entirely across all legacy systems under my control if this doesn’t improve.

To my internal teams: you’ve done your job. This failure is Google’s. I urge them to show some humility, fix the wallet and card integrations, and recognize who they're actually dealing with. Otherwise, we’ll evolve without them.

Warranty Scam

Do not buy goods from Google as their so-called customer support is an absolute disgrace. I received an email from Google stating they had fitted a faulty battery to my Pixel 6a and that I was entitled to $452 compensation as my phone was still in warranty. However, they kept delaying payment until my warranty expired and are now saying that because my warranty has expired I'm only entitled to $150 compensation. This company is disreputable and operates in a totally unethical and immoral manner.

Google Support should be on life support!

What an absolute joke Google Support is. I have received advice from Google that my Pixel 6a has a major battery issue whereby many users of this model experience severe overheating causing many instances of devices catching fire. I was offered on option to trade in my phone toward the cost of a new Pixel 8, which I did. The deal was I can get up to $300 in trade in plus a $100 Google Store Credit and US$150 as a discount code one the purchase. After all that I have a newer phone but was still $300 out of pocket. 3 weeks later I get an email saying the discount should have been US$452. Long story short Google recanted that offer because of some warranty issue. Send email upon email which met with some stalling kind of reply from the support site including lines like "its being looked at by our dedicated team and "don't worry we will give you the best resolution ever". Utter crap. Still no resolution so I've taken the whole issue down the Australian Consumer Law protection paths with external Legal support. The so-called support teams lie to you, prolong the process and just hope you give up and go away. No way Google Support. See you down the (legal)track.

Three Hours, Six Agents, No Resolution

If I could give zero stars, I would. After more than three hours and being passed between six different agents, I still didn’t get a simple credit applied to my purchase — a credit they confirmed I was eligible for from the very beginning.

Instead of fixing the issue, I was instructed to cancel my order, subjected to pointless troubleshooting steps, and directed to multiple order pages that failed. Each agent admitted the problem but passed me along like a hot potato, wasting my time and leaving me with no resolution.

I walked away with nothing but a canceled order, hours I’ll never get back, and an unbelievable amount of frustration. For a company of this size, the complete lack of accountability is shocking. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

I LOST ALL MY IMPORTANT FOTOS of my 1…

I LOST ALL MY IMPORTANT FOTOS of my 1 year old son. I bought the new Google Pixel 8 pro mobilephone, and 1,5 year later the screen suddenly went black. Then I took the SIM card in my boyfriends phone and login to my Google account and took a back-up twice in the Google One cloud, two days later I send the phone to repair, and around 5-6 days later suddenly all my photos from 2025 went missing, and also the Google fotos from my boyfriends phone got mixed to my phone. I have talk with the so called Google support over 14 days, the response is awefull, they keep mixing my story wrong and blame it on me. Im so mad! I cant get a proper explanation on what happened to my photos, and why my boyfriends photos got on my Google fotos account? ALL my videos and photos of my first son is gone. I will not recommend their products, phone, cloud store, Google fotos and their services.

I give google support a one star review…

I give google support a one star review because zero is not an option. I have a website and for some reason they have marked it as misrepresentation. Every time I contact support, which is a hassle to begin with they just send a standard email with their policies which we fully adhere to. It is literally like talking to a wall. No wonder Google will become obsolete soon in this age of AI. Wish Xai would create a browser.

Google deserves to die out and the sooner the better

Google never listens to their customers. Its become like a behemoth that doesn't know its arse from its elbow.
Dire service for the UK. Search results that don't relate to anything in particular except american rubbish. Tools used to have UK search but you have to seek it out in advanced search now. What a palaver. Google help no help at all and they are not interested in providing a good service.

Save yourself a massive headache, just make a new Google Account

Very dismissive and full of PR canned responses. You'd be better off taking the weekend off and creating a fresh Google Account and hoping the problem goes away.

Their responses are so bad and purposefully useless, that I'd take the hassle of changing EVERY SINGLE WEBSITE's email ID than dealing with Google Support ever again.

I guess their lawyers actually figured out that they're too big to fail and can get by with ignoring every problem. Even this review is probably useless...

Vive la Capitalisme!
