Refused to remove fake review

Terrible customer service. I have been running a small business for nine years and someone has just left a fake 1 star review, falsely claiming my business went bankrupt and has shut down. This is a very damaging review, as you can imagine. I asked Google to take it down as it was spreading misinformation but they told me the review does does violate their policies. My business is alive and thriving. This review is 100% untrue. Get your act together and remove it Google!

I had no help from anyone from…

I had no help from anyone from Microsoft or other stores. No one train me how to use new technology. It’s terrible 😞. I’m frustrated and it takes me hours forever to fix problems on this iPhone. I’m easily hacked. Not even a member of the family could fix it. I’m not able to remove something from goggle maps or other information. You sucks Goggle! This baby boomer or other generation can’t figure how to use it. A1 is not going to help us because I am ASL and CHATGPT is not going to help either! Everyone gets hacked. Those computer stores are terrible customer service! I feel useless and like we gonna throw this out. Technology is too overwhelming!!! Trump’s idea or Elon’s idea is terrible too!!!

Theres no way to reach an actual human

Theres no way to reach an actual human. My issue needs an actual human to allow me to get in my account. All of Googles support articles say to "contact support" but there is no way to actually contact support no matter how many times you click "search for something else". Theres no number I can call, no email I can send to" and so we've been locked out of our email for months.

Disgraceful service

Disgraceful service, got call from Google support regarding a phone case id purchased on their official Amazon Google store page, provided receipt etc and it's like the 3rd one I've had... odd isn't it that you cannot buy the 8 pro case anymore @google store, yet they sell older device accessories i.e. pixel 7... design fault perhaps... anyway I'm on my fourth pixel from over the years and feel I've contributed however small to their $384 billion turnover in 2024! I was kept hanging on the phone back and fourth back and fourth as the agent only had a certain amount of grace... so here's to you el supervisor/manager sitting there calling the shots over a £30 case that's lasted 3 months for a good customer... I can't wait to switch to a proper flagship phone... I will never buy Google again and I have many other products i.e. ear buds, watch, cameras etc... oh and on the camera subject too I had 2 live Google cameras working perfectly, I left my car open unfortunately and someone stole my stereo at around 3 am... guess what ladies and gentlemen... on reviewing the footage when I believe it to have happened the play back said this recording cannot be viewed yet I get all and sundry on my video notifications including every time a person, car, cat, dog they passes, even tree movements and the spiders web shaking where a little 8 legged friend had made a home... rendering the cameras utterly useless, unless you want to see all and sundry above of course aka those not stealing your stereo... you come across as the best but let's be honest you're far from it, your merchandising and the way you brand Google and offer better design than a quality product has the world brainwashed... come think of it, every piece of anything Google I've had problems with... hopefully this review will help others see the light, wake up and go for quality over showboating... bye bye Google, hopefully with me out and having to write this accurate review of my utter dissatisfaction in your brand, products and support will be enough to help reduce your custom an thus, god willing, slip you down a notch in 2025 to under 384 billion, oh that would be fab to see... get working harder with quality, you still haven't achieved flagship status and always lagging behind... all over a poxy £30... well done!

Google Incompetence

Google in general is nothing mopre than an apathetic, greedy slef serving business who doesn't give a damn about the people ho uses them - and that applies especially to their non existent so called customer service and dictorial attitudes.

To start with - they (google) refuse to offer any feasible and/or practicle way of contacting them. You call the number they recommend just to be given some automated rubbish that tells you to look at their website. Talking to someone is impossible, as such, there is NO customer service or support and people are reduced to reporting them to the BBB on the off chance that they (google) will respond.

So to start with, google blocked my ability to make in app purchases through their Play Store claiming that purchases were unavailable - that in itself was a lie on their part. For some reason they decided to block/lock my ability to make purchases. Who gave them the right to dictate to me how I spend my money???

So, I deleted my account and created a new one, went through all the hoops and rot they insist upon and got to the point where they wanted to send a Verification Code to my "NEW UNUSED PHONE" due to them detecting suspicious activity on my newly created account - I geuss making an account is suspicious to them. I entered the phone number just for them to tell me (the first time) the number type was not valid??? A phone number is a phone number. I tried again just to be told that my new unused phone had been used too many times and to use a different one!

Googles solution - get this - to fix the problem LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT and blah blah blah. How in hell can you log into an account that google refuses to let you log into because they refuse to send you a verification code for something they conjured up and despite demanding an email address refuse to send any codes to that email address.

Google created the problem and their solutions are impossible as the problems they created prevent you from carrying their solutions out.

After reporting them to the FTC and BBB I got an email from them claiming to want to help and they have done nothing but frustrate the problems even more.

How hard is it to understand the problem - if you need some idiotic verification code to sign into your account or finish setting it up but cant get that code because THEY claim your new phone has been used too many times then you can't do a damn thing. They demand an email address but refuse to use it. They claim that is for security reasons - I think the world knows just how laughable that claim is and is nothing more than a poor excuse for obtaining personal information - just like microsucks does.

The worse part is that they (google) has a monopoly, like microsucks, so most people are forced to use them as there are very few (if any) other options.

Bottom line is this - google needs to provide a PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE/TECH SUPPORT option both a phone number where you can speak to a live human being who speaks english so problems such as logging in can be fixed on the spot and an email address for less urgent matters. Any responsible and reputable company would do that.

Misleading resolution options

Our daughter's pixel 4a stopped charging due to the recognised battery problem. We were accepted for a variety of compensation options, but I feel like all of them were made deliberately difficult. To get the battery fixed required a minimum 2 hour drive. We took the option of a £100 voucher towards a new phone, but the cheapest option available was £500. I wrote to the support team asking for a greater range of phone options, but this was rejected without any way to escalate the complaint.

Avoid Google products—their customer…

Avoid Google products—their customer service is an absolute nightmare. 😡 You follow all their instructions, only to be told your issue will be escalated and someone will contact you within 24-48 hours… but no one ever does. When you call back, you’re forced to start the process all over again, hearing the same empty promises. They refuse to let you speak to anyone higher up, and the cycle repeats until—surprise—your warranty expires.

After this exhausting experience, I’m done with Google and have switched back to Samsung. Save yourself the frustration—do NOT buy Google products! 🚫📱

GOOGLE support unavailable

I purchased a google pixel 8 from Verizon. After 2 phone calls to Google support at 11am and 2pm CST, “WE ARE CLOSED; CALL BACK AT ANOTHER TIME.”

Verizon charged me a $50 restocking fee and VERIZON KNEW GOOGLE SUPPORT WAS INADEQUATE.

Pixel 7a with swollen battery within warranty. I have supplied full details and proof of purchase. We are 72 hours in and Google support have thanked me for the information I have supplied regarding my Pixel 4a with battery draining issues asking me to update the software! I will stop there! The phone is unusable/potentially dangerous and I am not expecting a resolution any time soon! Having read previous reviews I am not hopeful. Buyer beware of Pixel products! Software updates have also been quite glitchy! If replaced I will be looking at other manufacturers - and I hate to say am now considering IOS! I know!

Good Products if minimalistic, Good free data Plan

The company was one of the few that allowed any sort of export for their data. They produce sub-minialistic products which is a trend I hate. Their support is average and basically DIY from support documents. Their hardware tends to be good. 15GB data for free which beats most of the competition with the ability to get more data for free.

Quite a few of the reviews seem to be describing their own failings rather than Google's, for example, if you allow your son to buy any random product online, then whose fault is it? It's not Google's, and if you buy a product from if you buy an Apple product from Google it's not Google's only getting commission it's up to Apple to provide the refund so I'm with Google and saying Apple is a fault.

The worst company I've ever come…

The worst company I've ever come across. I have a Google pixel 4a phone which Google decided to do an update which I had no control over. It killed my battery and rendered it useless to use outside of he home unless it's on constant charge.

They've acknowledged my phone is affected, but it won't allow you to request a replacement. You put in your IMEI number and it's says " there seems to be a problem " !!!!!!!!

One of the biggest tech companies in the world and this is what happens. We've emailed for over 3 weeks, constant phone calls, support that's working from the Philippines is an absolute waste of time.

Please don't buy Google phones, I will never own another again after this.

Worst Customer Service. 0/5 if I could.

I was trying to get a justifiable refund of just £20 for a marketing con from Google related to Apple Music for over 4 hours and they still refused, saying its down to Apple to issue the refund as they are the developer. Apple said its down to Google due to them being the ones I purchased the app from.

I got proof from Apple that Google owed the money back, yet they refused and refused. Put me through utter hell over a relatively low amount of money and it ranks as possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. There was absolutely no excuse for it. Two major companies blaming a childish blame game in order to avoid taking responsibility. It was very upsetting and downright shameful. In the end, even after further review, I never got my money back.

Be wary: Google will almost always refuse refunds, even if you eligible. They break the law and force you to take it up with your bank or the other company. They aren't there to aid their customers, they just want to alienate them.
