I had my FUT procedure with the Surgery Group at the Bromsgrove clinic two weeks ago. The whole process worked effortlessly from day one with Matthew - he lives and breathes hair transplants. Messages were answered promptly and the initial consultation was organised within days. The consultation was with the surgeon Dr Ish himself rather than a patient co-oridinator/sales guy like so many other clinics.
On the morning of the surgery, Dr Ish drew and marked out the recipient area on the frontal region of my scalp where the new grafts were to be transplanted - it was clear from this he was going to deliver even more than I had imagined. Dr Ish is such a skilled surgeon with an artistic eye and it was clear he wanted the hair transplant to look real and natural. The technicians on the day - MaryAnn, Claire, Kate, Stan and all - were so precise and detailed in what they did and their skill is so pivotal to hair transplant success.
I decided to go with FUT as I felt this was best for my level of hair loss and the scar two-weeks post surgery looks so neat and is healing well. The aftercare has been brilliant, everything explained and provided in detail by Jake.
Two weeks on, the results are already looking incredible and I am sure the final results in a years time will be amazing too and will give an update.

The guys have been so attentive and helpful all the way on my journey with them ..answering any worries or silly questions I had, really going above and beyond!

The facilities they use are state of the art and so are there surgeons!

Couldn’t believe the value for money you get..don’t know why I thought you had to pay silly money for a hair transplant?!?

After my procedure (hair transplant FUE) the aftercare team made sure I was okay all the way through my healing process.

If I ever choose to have anything done again it will be with these guys ..5* service!

Really friendly staff who will happily answer any questions you have they are very honest and appreciate feedback and what the patient wants but will also advise you as to what is the best course of action for you as well I have done my research on a number of companies and these guys are one of the best I have had my transplant for 14 days now and already sent recommendations to a number of my friends to use these guys

I can’t say one negative for this comepany as they were all very professional and made me feel welcome

I am sorry that I did not correctly advise you prior to your meeting with Dr Ismail. It's clear that i underestimated the number of grafts that you will require to get full coverage and you should have been better advised so that you could make an informed decision

I don't believe that you could have got a bigger or better procedure elsewhere but you should have been better informed and in this instance the buck stops with me.

We will keep in touch, I hope and log your progress over the coming months then we will decide the best course of action to treat the remaining areas of your crown.

If you would like to have SMP I will arrange things with the technician and I will cover all costs of the procedure
If you decide to have a second HT I will arrange it as a private procedure between you and the surgeon and you'll just cover the clinic fees and staff costs

So if you think ive done something that’s illegal then go down the correct route. You keep on saying that I have been so abusive to you your staff etc etc. Well you should have all the telephone dates and times plus all the the apparent disgusting messages you claim I’ve sent. Get it all together then and give it to the relevant authorities that’s what they are there for.

It makes me laugh how you keep on insisting it’s me damaging your company name... I’ve only given my opinion on how in my opinion you treated me so unfairly and I wouldn’t want you to do the same to anyone else. As a result you are doing more damage to yourselves than I would ever want to.

I’m so pleased I chose Surgery Group for my hair transplant, as it was a big decision and they have been brilliant. I met with Dr Ismail beforehand and Matthew talking me through everything before finally booking, and was always available. You are allowed to make an informed decision, no hard sell. On the day, Dr Ismail and the team were so pleasant and professional. They were amazing. I’m really looking forward to the results in the coming months. You get complementary aftercare shampoo and lotions to keep things on track. Jake also provided great support and advice in days and weeks after the surgery. So I have no hesitation in recommending Surgery Group.

I’m currently two weeks post-op and to date I’ve had a great experience with the Surgery Group and with Dr Mani. Every step of the way: the first phone call, the video consultation, the operation, and post-op, I’ve barely had to lift a finger and had every one of my questions answered and all of my worries put to ease. Jake has been incredibly helpful the whole way, arranging things behind the scenes, such as consultations and hotels, and answering my many, many questions all round the clock, even at 11:30pm. Both Dr Mani and Jake have displayed extreme professionalism in how they have conducted themselves but have done so in a really easy going, down-to-earth manner, which really helps to put your nerves at ease for what some find quite a daunting procedure. The price was really great as well compared to some of the other quotes I got. I ended up getting 2200 grafts (FUE) for £4000 in total. I have to admit that, up until the moment I shook Dr Mani’s hand, I was about 30% sure it was too good to be true and that I had been conned out of my money. I actually googled ‘surgery group scam’ a couple of times. Fortunately for me it wasn’t and it ended up being a really easy process, and I’m really looking forward to seeing the results.

I’m 5 weeks post op (fut) with Dr.Harris and Matt have Jake been so helpful throughout the whole experience.
Iv always been insecure about the thinning hair around my hair line and the height of my forehead, it’s stopped me doing things I love like swimming in the sea and even walking down a windy beach, and so when I decided to book some consultations I didn’t need to look any further. Matt was friendly and made me feel relaxed about the whole thing - I never once felt stupid for the silly questions I had!
It’s also so so easy to over worry after the procedure, and it can be quite a low stage. Any little thing you do you worry you may have messed up the results- like not washing it properly or even opening the oven door! Maybe a slight bump on the head from the car boot or even overthinking the results such as did we bring the hairline low enough... but Jake has been there to put my mind at ease and support me through it and has been there to answer all my questions no matter what time of the day!
The actual procedure was easier than I expected- not a lot of pain at all, and a very friendly team! Dr Harris has done a lot of female hairlines and so I put my whole trust in him as to what he thought was best... I’m in the ugly duckling stage now so hopefully I get the results I wish for and will leave another review once I am at my one year mark but I’m very glad I chose to book with the surgery group and can’t praise them enough. If you are thinking about getting a hair transplant, then anything is better than feeling the way you do now right?!

These guys at surgery group are amazing from the sales guys Matt and jake so down to earth non of this reading a scrip over the phone.they make you feel at ease rite away they tell you how it is with out the feeling of being pressured into anything.Mo the surgeon was also great couldn’t fault him at all he’s out to give you the best results and ain’t bothered about money he’s looking out for you and what’s best.if you ain’t happy there’s no pressure he won’t lie to you and push or force you into anything hes very clear and make you understand everything he’s on about without leaving you thinking what..the tech guys was also brilliant throughout the day felt at ease all the way through speak to you like a friend and not a patient and in my eyes that’s how it should be.on the day we had lunch courtesy of the surgeon they give you an option so pizza it was lol..I only had my procedure done on the 19/3/2021 so I’m still in early stages with it all so far so good I don’t feel any pain or discomfort at all the recovery rate has been amazing and I put this down to the whole team being gentle throughout the whole process..let’s just hope my results are just as good as these guys at surgery group..I’ll leave more feed back with my new hair in a few months

It’s been nearly 4 weeks since my hair transplant with Dr Ish, looking back the entire process has been a really positive one. The process was super straight forward from my initial enquiry, to arranging an appointment with Dr Ish and arranging the procedure with him. It was seamless.

The day of surgery also went smoothly and Dr Ish and his technicians were kind, caring and very professional. I quickly felt at ease and in safe hands between the doctor and hair technicians.

Surgery started just after 11:00am and I was finished by 4:30pm. At the end Dr Ish gave me a bag to take home that contained antibiotics, medication and saline solution to spray the grafts.

I left happy and thinking I’d made the right decision.

The aftercare is spot on, I dealt mainly with Jake who has been fantastic. I expected a level of care but Jake went above and beyond and messaged daily in the first week and a bit which I am appreciative of as having his reassurance and guidance daily was needed. It really made the entire experience 5 stars.

So, between Dr Ish, his Hair Technicians and my Patient Coordinator Jake I could not be any happier and they come highly recommend by me.

Now it’s just a waiting game and I can’t wait to see the results in 6 months’ time!

I had a hair transplant by Dr Mani, at the Nottingham clinic 2 weeks ago, I fully recommend the surgery group, the prices are good and the service is even better plus I didn’t have to risk flying to turkey to an unknown place where I know I wouldn’t feel comfortable. There is a great support network prior and post your operation to make you feel at ease.

Arrived on 30/1/21 and immediately I was put at ease by the team, the day was amazing and opened my eyes to what they do. There wasn’t a moment where I felt unease, they reinsured me all the time and kept me satisfied.

Prior to arriving, I received great communication and professional assistant for Matt and Jake, both keeping in touch and see if I was ok and happy.

I had my FUE hair transplant courtesy of the Surgery Group on the 23rd January. I have been thinking about this for years and I am so happy that I chose the Surgery Group.

Matthew and his team were nothing short of amazing. Matthew is very knowledgeable and he is always on hand to answer questions before my appointment. He had no hesitation putting me in direct contact with the surgeon on more than one occasion. Matthew arranged a hotel for me the night before and day of my surgery at no extra cost.

Dr Ahmed and his surgery team were friendly and informative throughout the day and made the whole experience easy and pain free. They put me at ease from the beginning of the day at 7am and look after me with pizza at lunch. The whole thing was done by mid afternoon.

Since my operation both Matthew and Jake have checked in with me everyday and helped me through the recovery period. No question or query is too small. They have been abs will continue to be brilliant.

It is early days but I know I will have a fantastic result. It has already boosted my confidence and I cannot thank Matthew, Jake, Dr Ahmed and his team enough. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I recently had an FUE hair transplant procedure that was organised by surgery group and felt compelled to leave a review as my experience was (and still is) so good.
I had been thinking about having this done for a few years and thinking about it more seriously very recently and so started searching. I was drawn to surgery group after reviewing the many positive reviews and I’m so glad they are who I chose.
After an initial online enquiry I had a very rapid response from Matthew. After a few telephone conversations and a few exchanges of text messages, I felt like I’d known Matthew for years and he immediately felt like a close friend. It may sound a bit cheesy but it’s honestly true – I said I’m so glad I found them!
I had quite a strict limited criteria of what I was after in terms of surgery and time frame and Matthew made it happen. He put me in direct contact with a top surgeon in London, who could fit me in the time frame I was looking at.
After reviewing my photos and assessing my situation in terms of what would be possible from my donor area, I had a telephone consultation with the Dr. He explained that up to 5000 grafts would be possible and dependent of the hairs/graft ratio (average of 2 hairs per graft would be a good result) would determine the outcome.
Matthew arranged everything and on 12th December 2020 I travelled to London for my procedure with the Dr. and his team of brilliant technicians.
I had an FUE transplant – 4700 grafts (with an average of 2.7 hairs per graft) moved to the front (new hairline) and crown areas. I believe this is quite a lot in one procedure but this is what I wanted and it was all fine btw. No pain, just a long day!
On the days following the procedure, the aftercare from Matthew was outstanding. Messaging every day checking I was OK and giving pointers for looking after the grafts and hair washing when allowed etc. He also sent a 6 month supply of the recommended medication which all helps give you the best outcome following your procedure.
He also put me in direct contact with Jake, who has been through an FUE procedure with Surgery Group and has become like an ambassador for SG and helps with your aftercare. Jake is also a top top guy. Very friendly and extremely helpful and has some great videos that you can access through SG website.
So if like me, you have been thinking about getting this done and are now looking at who should be doing it for you, if your choose SG you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing experience from start to finish! Really well run clinic from start to finish! This is the only place that gave me access to the surgeon from day one. Dr Ish was amazing from day one. No false promises, always manages your expectations and advises on what’s the best solution for your Individual needs. Other clinics such as KSL have a “one hat fits all” which isn’t ideal when thinking about a life changing FUE transplant! Had my FUE yesterday and the whole team were superb. Friendly, fun and put me at ease! Even ordered me a Dominos for lunch! Aftercare is also superb thanks to Jake and Matthew - always ready to answer any questions pre and post op! The best hair clinic in UK!

It's been a month since I had my FUE with Dr Ish. The surgery itself went very smoothly, I've never had any medical treatment before so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was similar to a long trip to the dentist. It didn't really feel like a big deal at all, and I actually enjoyed the 6 hours or so I was there. The 2 nights in the hotel worked out well too. I was very happy with the surgery all in all.

I think that the fact that Dr Ish was a brain surgeon that had been featured on BBC shows really helped settled the question of, 'does this guy know what he's doing?', as I always worried I'd end up with a glorified beauty salon worker taking a scalpel to my head. So that helped ease any doubts I had.

The post op went exactly how they said it would, and Jake and Matthew were on hand to talk me through it if I had any questions. I had swelling on the 3rd day, got a black eye. No pain from back or front at all. Sleeping with travel pillow wasn't as bad as expected. Redness is still there, but almost unnoticeable at 4 week mark (this just depends on the type of skin you have and how it heals). The hairs have now pretty much all fallen out and I just have to wait 6 months or so. Hopefully I'll get the result I was looking for.

So my advice would be do a lot of research online, loads of videos and testimonials on Youtube etc. Make sure you know what it's all about and right for you. Work out what is possible and realistic and give Matthew a call, he's a straight talking guy, then talk to the surgeon and see if they think you are a good candidate. I'd been thinking about this for a few years and when I saw that I could get it done in the UK for the sorts of prices you'd normally have to go to Turkey for, then I had nothing to stop me.

So I'd wholeheartedly recommend Surgery Group to anyone thinking about getting a hair transplant.

I can only say nothing but amazing words about my experience with The Surgery Group. I had a FUT hair transplant done back in October. I was extremely nervous leading up to the appointment but Dr Ismail made me feel so at ease straight away along with the technician girls the whole team was just so friendly and comforting! Dr Ismail did an incredible job and I have the neatest scar! I honestly couldn't be happier with my results so far the hair is growing so well and faster then I believed it would. The surgery was surprisingly not painful for me and I even fell asleep for a couple of hours during!

Matthew has been phenomenal, leading up to the surgery answering any questions I had with a quick response and even with the after care he still gives his time and checks in to see how I am doing still even 3 months after the surgery he really does go above and beyond!

I highly recommend to anyone and I am so happy I finally had it done after all these years of thinking about it! Don't hold back just go for it! :)

I cannot fault the Surgery group. From the initial contact, through to my FUE transplant and communication after, all has been excellent.
My procedure was completed at Bromsgrove with Dr Ismail and his team. Once the anesthetic was in it was pain free and I did not suffer any post op swelling. Recovery was easier than I expected and I have not needed any painkillers since leaving the clinic. I'm now just waiting to see the full result.

I couldn’t be happier with everything from the Surgery Group. I’d previously gone for 3 other HT consultations before choosing them. I liked the fact that you actually met the surgeon (Dr Ish) which instilled confidence in me from the get go. After meeting him there was no pressure and he told me to go away and have a good think about it, but I was already decided. Then Mathew calling me to go things and explaining how it all works again and the amazing aftercare. The surgery on the day went really well. I was comfortable, relaxed and pain free once the anaesthetic was administered. The whole team made the day a really pleasant experience. Then following on with aftercare advice with Mathew and Jake.
