I've never written a review before simply because either the product haven't been up to scratch or the service has been rubbish but not so in this case hence the review. I messaged Andrew on Thursday to ask about delivery he promptly replied with his telephone number and offered his help on any matter. This is a service you don't get these day's so I was very impressed and it definitely made my mind up to get a tracker. I wasn't dissapointed it arrived on Saturday as promised. Upon opening the box my first thought was how small it is but it's well made and sturdy. I charged it up whilst reading the instructions( unusually for me). I followed the instructions and 5 minutes later it was all up and running. I shut the caravan door as gently as I could and got a text immediately telling me of movement, I had to laugh. Product is excellent and the service is top notch. I highly recommend you get one of these trackers.

I already have a tacker installed in my caravan, trouble is you need to notify the tracking company that your caravan has been stolen in order for it to be tracked! When you store your caravan or use out of the way sites that really isn't good enough. Further, it relies on the police having the correct equipment fitted to their patrol cars. That isn't always the case. This means our standard tracker is really not up recovering our caravan in that critical golden hour after its theft.
I looked around at options and yes the fully monitored systems like HAL and Phantom look really attractive, but come at a price to match. I needed a better solution.
This is where the Tackle Tracker comes in to its own. Relatively cheap, simple to operate, long battery life and user installed are the features that caught my eye. However what sealed it for me was the excellent pre and post sale service from Andrew of Tackle Tracker. Time and time again I saw he had gone beyond the reasonable expectations of customer service. Chuck in a 28 day money back promise and a two year warranty you couldn't really go wrong.
From ordering to installation was under 48 hours. Brilliant post purchase e mail with helpful advice and tips added to the customer experience. I spent a while deciding just where to install the tracker, I had thought of an ideal location on / in the caravan but was concerned about the tracker acquiring the satellites to obtain its fix. I really needn't have worried as when I caused it to activate in near real time I received the 'motion alert' and incredibly quickly the first position message came in which was pretty close, certainly in real world terms near enough to locate a stolen van. However the second fix hit the caravan straight on, within feet of the tracker's location. I looked at the location on Google earth and it wasn't just that the 'pin' was on my caravan, it really was in the right part of the caravan. All within 90 seconds of the initial alert.
Yes HAL, Phantom and their ilk will take care of everything but this really is a good back up or cheaper alternative. If the police provide you with an officer's smart phone number you can direct all updates to their phone. Most officers are now issued with a Force smart phone so it makes their life easier too. If you can identify your caravan has been stolen and help the police to help you, you stand a much better chance of getting back your caravan before it is passed on, damaged or stripped down.
This tracker certainly fits the bill, needless to say it was developed to track fishing tackle, hence its name. However it can be used for near enough anything you value that is at risk of being stolen.

Bought this for our Lawn Tractor whilst away. Works like a dream. Will consider this for other purposes. Used €2 simcard with unlimited European texts.

Having bought a tracker for the caravan just to give me peace of mind it’s probably really safe where it is, but having it at home for over a week before I went to the van I realised how flexible it is and although it worked faultlessly at the van feeling that the van is pretty safe where it is ibought the tracker back with me to use at home. After extensive testing protecting various assets in many scenarios falling short of putting it in a lead lined box and burying it in the garden i was really surprised with how well it performed. Now as I have the full package with a tackle tracker SIM card (the only way to go in my opinion) this testing has lead to many many alerts that obviously I have no problem with as I have been playing around testing for my own scenarios. Now then rather than just sending me a bill for all these alerts Andrew at tackle tracker contacted me to see if I had a problem NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE any way what I am saying is this guy is committed to you when you buy his product I can’t fault the tracker and I can’t fault Andrew. Seriously I have a ticket for the EuroMillions and £134 mill is a £1 or two more than I need and I would have no qualms walking up to Andrew a guy I don’t know from Adam and giving him a cheque for a million £ and I would bet that even if that made Him for life he would not give up on his tracker customers I can say this because he has gone out of his way to make sure I am ok. And that my friends is such a refreshing change in this world where after most have taken your money they don’t want to know. 💯% you can buy with confidence from Tackle Tracker

I would definitely recommend the Tackle Tracker device. Easy to set up, easy to store. Andrew is very helpful every step of the way. I took a photo of the commands to save me getting the book out every time. 5* product. :-)

Perfect for my caravan, alerts you at the slightest movement, messages you when it needs charging (which gave me a heart attack!), and great customer service too! Would definitely recommend the Tackle Tracker to anyone who wants to protect anything they hold dear!

Purchased a tackle tracker for my caravan a few weeks ago, hoping not to have to use it in real situation but provides piece of mind for me knowing that my caravan is sitting where it should be down the side of my house. Simple to set up and customer service has been top notch. Would highly recommend as Andrew has been excellent throughout, even helping with a refund where most companies would have ignored my error.

I can't rate the customer service offered by Andrew White highly enough. He goes out of his way to help sort out any queries. I gave the tracker a "test run" in my car and am really pleased with it - but have to say I would rather not find myself in a position to use it in earnest!

What fantastic service, ordered online 8 Sep 1410hrs arrived 9 Sep 0850 hrs. Not only an email conformation of my order but a phone call to let me know order received and being dispatched. Very clear instructions enclosed in packaging,works strate out of the box after switching on. Well worth the money.
