Expensive and not dependable
I booked the Dolly days in advance. The app showed a helper assigned but then at 12:30 it was cancelled. I had taken the day off for this. Finally someone showed up around 1:30. I asked to add a few extra pieces that I had already moved to the driveway so all he needed to do was put them in the truck. The helper weighed about the same as me and struggled to move the furniture. The process took 3 hours from start to finish and cost me nearly $1000 which seems ridiculous for a a bureau, armoir, headboard, box spring and bakers rack.

Great concept
I think this is a great concept and glad someone recommended it to me. I needed just a few large items brought down to the basement. Guys were done in 10 minutes. The 2 men were polite and careful.

Contactless delivery but I literally set it up with IKEA and paid extra and the customer service agent was trying to argue with me

I paid $217 to get 6 small flat packs and 6 rolled mattresses from IKEA. I ordered the items for a 1:30-3::30 window. The communication from Dolly was terrible regarding updates on the app. I was told at 10:24 AM that the driver had picked up the order. I had to call customer service around 3:00 to get an update because the updates stopped. At that point I was told the driver would arrive between 4/00 and 4:30. At 4:30 I had to call again and was told 20 more minutes. When o called to say that I paid such a high delivery charge specifically because I needed the items within that window, they only apologized not offered no compensation. I will not use this company again.

Fraud
There’s no other description to what happened to me on Friday then fraud. I paid $170 for help moving my patio furniture from my garage to my backyard. The drop-down box when I reserved it gave a nine piece patio set as an option, the largest option so I clicked on it. The two guys came to my house they were there for less than 20 minutes. They moved nine items, including two 1/2 pound wicker stools that I could’ve carried with one hand. And stopped and told me that’s all I had paid for. I even offered to pay more to get them to help me move the full set, and they told me they were booked somewhere else and couldn’t. They showed up over 10 minutes earlier than the window that I was scheduled for so they had been at my house only nine minutes into the scheduled time. When I asked how they possibly could be scheduled for something where they couldn’t help me finish the job. They got belligerent with me and told me they moved the nine pieces and we’re leaving. It was absolutely ridiculous and completely fraud.

Absolute Worst Service Ever
Two packages from The Container Store were never delivered/dropped off at my address. I reached out to Dolly's customer service requesting confirmation of delivery/a picture of the delivery and never received any type of response. Absolutely the worst delivery service imaginable. I would not trust them for any type of service. They do not leave any phone number to contact them. E-mails and texts come from an un-deliverable return address.
