I went from. Free to $45.00 for what reason? All that I had was my earnings from Social Security, that's it, nothing else! I will probably go somewhere else next time.

The cost to file a simple return was ridiculous! I will not be back! What makes you think you can charge what you do when I am just answering questions and plugging in numbers. I'll go elsewhere next year

Hello! I hope you take this into serious consideration. I will not be returning next year because of the egregious mistake that the program let slip through. One of my children was not accurately captured as a qualified dependent and for the past 3 years, I have not been receiving the child tax credit equal to $2,000 dollars each year. There was no warning, no prompt, nothing. Both of my children were inputted in the system, but one of them was incorrectly marked as NOT an American citizen. I’m not even sure if this is possible as a scenario, but nonetheless it was marked as such. Unfortunately, I will have to amend all of my previous returns since my son was born. I can only pray the IRS accepts the correction. Also, I have to pay to correct this mistake that the system allowed.

Price is higher every year, by even more in recent years. Info from previous year not showing up, so more time typing in info that should have been in there.

I often had to pause. When I logged back it, it felt secure and picked up where we left off.

I've been using TaxSlayer for 20 years now, and I've been happy for 18 years of tax days. No complaints with the service. But you MUST STOP with the pop-up requests to provide voluntary info. You started this last year. I don't care what reason it is for, but asking to share any of my information that does not pertain to my tax return is just plain idiotic in this day. I pay to use this web service and batting down repeated requests (over 20 times) to authorize sharing my information was frustrating in the extreme this year. It's too easy for people in a hurry to click 'yes' believing its a requirement. Get rid of any service pop-ups for paid users such as myself (free users have less argument). If you do this pop-up 'please share your information' next year-- I'm gone for good. You are not cheap and I can easily find a replacement.

I have been using Taxslayer for twenty years. It's always been easy and user friendly. In recent years though, I have become concerned with the cost. It's much too high - this year it cost me over $100 to use your service. I think it is time for your company to consider offering long-time users like myself a discounted rate. Otherwise, I may be forced to use other, less expensive options in the future.

Rip me off for 45 bux because I has interest 3 dollars over the limit for free.

Have used Taxslayer since they first came. Have always had a great experience. Easy to use and makes the whole process much easier. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I’ve been using tax slayer for years. I do like the way the system holds onto previous years and makes it that much easier. I feel that once you start using the system, it’s best to stick with it and tax slayer has always been good to me.

Worst tax experience of my life. Still not accepted by the IRS. Listed responses as to why were simply unacceptable. The AGI from 2024 did not solve the problem . I’ve attempted to fix my return six times. Finally just mailed it in. The $122 or whatever I spent is a complete ripoff… as you could not get my return accepted. Please refund my money.

I loved the little encouragements after competeling each step. You were also helpful in your instructions but you could be a little more clear in what I actually need to complete

Was automatically charged a fee and upgraded and I couldn’t cancel it. IF I wanted to be charged $94 I would have went to a live human and not entered my own information in your app. 10 out of 10 WILL NEVER recommend!
