I'm using it as a student. Great platform for learning. Still want to work on it as a course seller.

We are displeased with the major increase in prices and we asked about protecting the PDFs thinking maybe that would make the new prices warranted but sadly not.

They barred me from accessing my school after ditching the free plan without warning, but continued SELLING MY COURSES!! I asked what was going on and they actually said that the students won't be able to access the course anymore. A course that they paid for. And that I am supposed to handle the reimbursement myself -after barring me from accessing all areas of my school, including billing and all my material I uploaded. They're basically telling me if I ever want to access my stuff again, I'll have to pay a few hundred dollars for their paid plan. No warning, no mail, no nothing. How is this even allowed? There must be laws against such behaviour and I hope they get a big fat lawsuit from someone who can afford it. (Oh, also, in their bot-chat they promised to get back to me about this on Monday, since they don't work weekends - on an internet sales platform ...)

I’m honestly shocked at how poor the customer service is at Teachable. Despite reaching out multiple times, I’ve had no response. My entire online business runs on this platform, and the lack of support is leaving me stuck and considering alternatives.
Teachable, please get back to me — I urgently need help with my account so I can move forward with my business.

Great platform and easy to use it only takes about 30 mins to get your website up and running with any course that your offering they have a very easy and secure payment processing system ensuring you get paid and will recommend to anyone I know.

Uploading content is quite easy. It would be better if there were more flexibility over editing the appearance of sales pages etc - it can be clunky and frustrating

We run a business with tens of thousands of customers and Teachable was a perfect start with the basic plan when we started (2019)
A few years later, they decided to more than triple the price of the basic plan with no added features.
Fair, hated it, but I can swallow that, once.
Then they want to schedule a call after we move on to a Growth Plan that includes “unlimited students” because of their “fair use” just because we collect payments outside Teachable.
Fair, we did the call, explain the situation, they advise to try Teachable payments but that would mess our checkout, accounting, data tracking and a lot of other stuff.
They raised the price again and we are that too.
Yesterday they bothered us again with their freaking fair use despite we having clarified our position and being perfectly inside their parameters.
Embarrassing business with one of the worse customer support ever.
Clear instructions.
Step by step examples of what not to do and step by step instructions on new techniques.

I’ve been a loyal Teachable customer for over six years and used to recommend the platform to many professionals. Unfortunately, the company’s customer service and integrity have declined dramatically.
In March, Teachable sent out an official email stating that they were doing away with reserves by the end of June 2025. Based on that announcement, I planned my business finances accordingly. It’s now October, and reserves are still being taken out.
I’ve reached out repeatedly to their finance, accounts, and general support departments, explaining that I urgently need access to these funds for my business. After more than a week, no response from anyone. It feels like I’m being ignored completely.
As a long-standing customer, this lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. Teachable used to be transparent and responsive. Now, they’re sending out announcements they don’t follow through on and leaving customers without answers or access to their money.
Unless Teachable restores communication and honors its own promises, I will have to reconsider continuing my business with them. This experience has been extremely disappointing, especially from a platform I once trusted and supported.
