KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR ROCKET PACK BALANCE because money has disappeared from my balance THREE times this year - 17/01, 17/02 and now 17/08 (note the same day of each month). Each time no reason is given... See more

Still can't make calls.
Just been away for a week, could not make calls before the holiday, still can't make calls to this day. The engineers fixing a local mast must be on a go slow, or it's just an excuse or simply tesco being dishonest. Either way their service is SHIT.
Zero stars
If I could put zero stars I would. Appalling customer service. Ordered and paid for new phone, it didn’t get delivered, phoned and was told an issue with Tesco I had to re order but they couldn’t use the 1st payment already paid. I had to pay another payment despite my account in credit.
Now they are saying I don’t pass the security checks but can’t tell me why. No doubt someone in the call centre has put some stop on my account. A joke of a company now.
Being Charged Twice After Changing Tariff
Changed tariff and now paying for the new one and the old one. Talked to customer service on the phone for 40 minutes who said it was sorted but it is not. Sent a complaint email but no response. Will now contact the Communications ombudsman to resolve.
Tesco hide information from gdpr…
Tesco hide information from gdpr request and sars request to cover their lies then shut down the complaints and act as though they have done nothing wrong you can’t get in contact with the complaints because their is no number nor can you contact their ceo office surprise surprise their is no way of contacting them if you want to be abused and taken advantage of take a contract with them otherwise stay as far away as you can
RUDE STAFF
I can’t believe we have to even rate them a star - they don’t deserve even that. When a customer fails ill (extremely) and is no longer able to communicate directly. They should be able to have a family member speak on their behalf… Tesco you are a disgrace, hanging up because you don’t like being told the law. Every single company has a duty of care to a customers vulnerabilities- this should be logged when provided and taken into consideration when dealing with a situation. I am in complete shock that you allow staff to speak and treat long standing customers (any customer for that matter) this way, and something needs to be done about it, I will be taking my Dad to another provider - I hope anyone considering Tesco mobile thinks twice, so not worth the stress or upset,
Diabolical staff & customer service
I had a SIM only deal & was offered an upgrade. I ordered the phone online it arrived the next day. I could not read the instructions which were in minute print so rang for help, was advised to go into a store.
I went into the store & 2 men ‘sorted’ it out for me.
At home, neither phone worked plus i received an email confirming my new payment would be £26.99 pm not £17.99 as my contract.
I went back to the store, once again my phone was sorted but I queried the cost, I was told it would be ok. No! So today, a third 24 mile round trip to the store. No manager but was told he should have been there & I’d have to go back for a FOURTH time as they hadn’t cancelled my original contract & was being charged twice. No joy phoning, holding on for 20-30 minutes, web chat said to go into store.
What an unprofessional useless service by incompetent staff.
I have no choice but to drive yet again & hopefully get some answers.
Would i recommend Tesco mobile? What do you think?
I’m in my seventies & all I ask for is some help.
Been scammed the service is useless…
Been scammed the service is useless none of the fraud team have a clue
I am disappointed by tesco mobile and…
I am disappointed by tesco mobile and their handling of my case. I have been with them a while and have used many other providers but I have never experienced something this terrible before...
So I lost my phone a week ago and tried to call them to cancel that sim and order a new one. The advisor I spoke to that day claimed that this has been done and will be sent will be recieved in 3 days. 3 days go by and nothing. So I call and attempt to follow this up. According to them I fail security checks when they try to verify, which I don't agree with because the answers I give were accurate. Anyhow I ask the advisor to put me through to a manager because I need my replacement sim and need to atleast know if they have sent out a new one. Manager never comes! And advisor tells me to come off amd call back when i can verify, to which o ask her how am i supposed to do that when i dont have that number to be able to log into thw accoint and check what they are lokking for because my phone is stolen...
She assures me to call the next day as management can help me by pass the system... So i call the next day to follow this same issue up, now I'm extremely frustrated. Management comes on the phone with an attitude, tries to fob me off to which I tell her the previous advisor told me management is able to bypass the system. Then she unwillingly checks and confirms that the advisor lied and did NOT infact send out a sim card to me and had me waiting for nothing. Then she proceeds to tell me that she will not be sending a new one because of verification issues. To which I say aren't there other ways I can verify my identity like sending even ID or something because my number has all my important information and contacts, she refused. The most she says she did is escalate to complaints because O said I want to complain about the way I have been treated because I can tell she is not really willing to help. She even went as far as saying she cannot speak for other people when I challenged the behaviour of her staff and the lie they told. To which I reminded her she is a manager and therefore she is actually very responsible for the behaviour of her staff.
Eventually I came of the phone as I was not getting anywhere or help.
So I await to see of complaints will get back to me, which So far it's crickets and you can't contact them neither.
Someone mentioned in the thread that unfortunately Tesco mobile seems to have outsourced their customer services to South Africa, and this has caused a decline in customer services due to their unawareness of basic ways to ascelate and support customers.
This is really sad and it feels like customer service is essentially non existent for Tesco Mobile. After I get access to the important staff when I eventually get my back, which I will not stop fighting for. I will be moving to another network provider.
I do not recommend tesco mobile as you are essentially left with essentially minimal support.
If I do not hear from the complaints team in the next few days I will be contacting the ombudsmen and various other customer support entities to deal with this incompetence.
So consumers Beware!!!
Tesco Mobile Customer Support
Just swapped over my and my wife's phones from O2 to Tesco. To date my SIM failed to appear (Thanks Royal Mail). My wife's number porting was not easy, not helped by Tesco Mobile's customer service based somewhere in the far East, with difficult to understand accents.

Phone goes missing on return
I upgraded my phone on line with them. The phone was defective and I returned it through DPD as directed by them. I ordered a new one which is fine. Two months later I notice they are billing me through my Direct Debit for the cost of the defective phone. I speak with their Customer services several times. Each time they tell me they will escalate my complaint. Don't worry I will not be charged. Nothing ever happens and I'm about to pay the cost of the 'lost phone.' I speak to DPD and they tell me the exact time and date the phone was returned to Tesco and who signed for it. Their Customer services tell me it's upto me to discover what happened to the phone and are not interested. The latest customer service agent now has all this information and tells me that her Manager will contact me in 3 days. I'm not going to hold my breath but I will win this eventually and will never go with them again. Please avoid at all cost. Fine until something goes wrong.
Oh dear Tesco mobile !
Been with Tesco mobile for many years and never had never had any issues . I recently contacted them via online chat about moving my Wife from Sky to Tesco . The call centres handling my three calls managed to cancel my number completely and change my wives number . The call centres are now in India and South Africa , they ask the same question over again and do not understand the answers given . Been a nightmare attemtping to sort this out and a perfect example of customer service on the scrapheap sacrficed for greater corporate profits . Going back to smoke signals now !!!!
Very poor customer complaints service
I have been having signal issues for 7 weeks (no service) any contact with customer service either by phone, text chat or e mail results in being passed from pillar to post or being given wrong information.
Pay as you go top up process has changed, without consultation!!!
Been with Tesco mobile pay as you go for years, but today I tried to top up using the 4 digit number I had stored in my phone since setting it up, it appears I am unable to top up on my handset as I have been changed to an essentials customer, which I had not been notified of, apparently I should of received a Text message informing me of the change, received nothing, the only text I received was to tell me that I needed to have £15 credit for the 27/10/25 to get my unlimited, mins & texts plus 10gb of data, which I did, I topped up as I usually did, but now it's all changed, you have to down load the app to top up, I have spoken to a customer service adviser, he tried to send me texts but they have still not come trough, I have looked on the Tesco Mobile website apparently no issues.
I am old school I do not want my details on my mobile phone, I want to be able to top up as I have always done so, and I object to changes being made without consultation, I found out about the 3G being turned off soon but I am have 4G and apparently my mobile is okay
Really too much to detail
Really too much to detail. In short sent an upgrade that didn’t work. Trying to return from three days of getting phone spoke to several different agents who kept promising that a courier would come and collect then nothing would happen. Every single one of them absolutely hopeless. Genuinely the worst. No customer service whatsoever. Going into a Tesco mobile shop tmrw as a last ditch effort before I take further
Avoid if you live in Cornwall
Avoid if you live in Cornwall. Crap reception. If I knew how bad the internet was, I would have cancelled in the first 14 days, but as they failed to properly transfer my contract to them, that was impossible and now I'm stuck in their contract, even though the phone Internet is not fit for purpose.
My phone broke completely
My phone broke completely - no screen to do anything with. I went on their website to see what to do. This told me to send it to their repair centre. I booked to have my phone picked up on Monday. By Wednesday I had heard nothing. I got in touch and they said they hadn’t received it and this could take up to 10 days! I today - Monday received an email from the repair centre to say they hadn’t received it, so thats taken a week so far! The email then said it could take another 10 days to repair. It is ridiculous to think I could be without my phone for all this time and so I have gone with another company. By the way, the emails look like they are AI and cut and paste with unreadable grammar. Terrible service.
