They used the wrong laser for my skin tone.
I would like to preface this by saying that I really do like Therapie Clinique. I love their customer service and all my laser ladies have been lovely. However, I paid £1499 for full body hair removal (even though I don’t really do full body) for ten sessions. I’ve been doing it for over a year and I am an ideal candidate as I have extremely pale skin with coarse black hair. However I had not seen a big difference for the longest time and was unhappy with the results and said so at every session and was told to be patient and people respond differently and all. I have seen at least 8 different people however only the last one (on my 10th and last session) remarked that the laser I have been on was unsuitable for my skin tone as I have very white skin but they have NOT been using the laser that targets the pigment in the hair which would have been more efficacious for someone with my skin tone just because I had (correctly) put my ethnicity as North African while completing the pre-treatment form and so they used the laser that would have been more suitable for someone with brown skin. I have noticed a massive difference since the last session when the different more suitable laser was used and now I feel that I could have had better results a long time ago if only they had used the right laser for me from the beginning. I was so unhappy with my results that I purchased an additional 6 sessions for nearly £800 which I still need as the wrong laser was used for 9 sessions. I have had other treatments done with Therapie Clinique and have recommended them to people so I’m disappointed.

Exilis body treatment
I do Exilis body treatment and I had a really positive experience. The therapist (Analisa) is lovely, very knowledgeable and always happy to answer any questions I have. She explains the treatment, the different settings and how the machine works in a clear and reassuring way. She also gives helpful advice about what to do before and after treatment. She is professional, supportive and completely non-judgemental, which has made me feel very comfortable throughout.

made me feel uncomfortable. I had a bikini session with Kerriannah G, Im a trans woman and this was I believe my 8th bikini session and she asked me to cover myself with 2 towels instead of just the 1. all other previous sessions told me to cover it with 1. when she asked me to cover it again i was confused as to why and she explained to me to cover my genitals but she couldn’t even say the word genitals or something similar. she just sort of bounced around the word and made me feel uncomfortable that she couldn’t just say the word, it felt a bit childish from her.

Clinic cancellations, endless customer service loop and no accountability
The clinic cancelled two of my appointments with less than 12 hours’ notice:
• 13 March 2026 at 9:30am
• 25 March 2026 at 4:00pm
These cancellations disrupted my treatment and delayed it by two months. As a direct result, my remaining paid sessions expired before I had a fair opportunity to use them.
I contacted Thérapie Clinic repeatedly, explained the full timeline and asked for a reasonable solution. Instead of investigating the case, taking ownership or offering any practical resolution, customer service repeatedly sent generic apologies and quoted the same 18-month expiry policy.
I was repeatedly told to contact customer service, yet customer service provided no actual solution. It became an endless loop: no case-specific assessment, no meaningful escalation and no accountability.
The clinic expects customers to follow strict cancellation and expiry rules, but when the clinic cancels appointments, the customer still appears to bear the full financial loss.
After multiple emails, the issue remains unresolved. I would be very cautious about purchasing a long-term package here, as my experience suggests that if something goes wrong, there may be no effective complaints process or anyone willing to take responsibility.

I've completed four laser hair removal…
I've completed four laser hair removal sessions with this clinic, and I've had a fantastic experience from start to finish.
The location is excellent and very easy to get to. Booking appointments is simple, whether through the app or by walking in, and I've never had any problems finding a convenient time.
The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. They always take the time to answer any questions and provide advice if you have any concerns before your treatment.
The treatments themselves have been amazing. I expected laser hair removal to be painful or to have a burning sensation, but I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks to the excellent cooling system they use, the treatment is very comfortable, and I hardly feel anything during the session.
I also really appreciate the privacy they provide. They give you time to get ready before the treatment begins, so you can feel comfortable and not exposed during the session.
The clinic is spotless, exceptionally clean, and has a very professional atmosphere. It feels more like a modern medical clinic than a typical beauty salon, which gives me great confidence in the quality of care they provide.
Overall, I highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering laser hair removal. The professional staff, comfortable treatments, excellent hygiene, and convenient service have made it a wonderful experience.
