TRF work tirelessly to support dogs…
TRF work tirelessly to support dogs that other rescues turn away, often taking in medical cases and providing the funds for their medical care for life. Many daxies with IVDD are supported, as well as those with other physical and neurological needs. They cover the whole of the UK, are unpaid and frequently find homes when their books/foster homes are full. An amazing charity who I admire greatly.
Not in the dogs best interest
The Red Foundation !
I’m sorry to say this organisation is not what they preach.
Fostering a dog who clearly had anxiety issues and is reactive with other dogs. Should as promised, under their own terms provide him with lifetime support. This clearly isn’t the case. This is quite worrying.
Think twice before using this organisation heartless and cruel.
Badly run organisation!
Poorly run organisation by incompetant volunteers. Support and therapies that were promised were not provided. Once the dog was placed with its Foster carer, they did not check on the welfare of the dog. So, they basically promised the world to get the dog off their hands and once it was, that was it! Then after the dog created a bond with its new carer and family, they made a decision that was both irrational and distressing to both the carer and the dog, to place it with yet another person! Whilst acting upon this disgraceful decision, not once did they take the dogs needs and fears into consideration when moving him from a good home where he was very well looked after. This will have undoubtedly caused the dog unnecessary distress. Avoid this organisation at all costs!!
