I booked a flight to Bangkok with. Nick.Got a really good deal. However once i had looked at the reviews i was a bit concerned i spoke to Nick who was very polite and professional went through everything with me. Even called to ask of we had checked in ok . Would definitely use this company again

The waiting time was reasonable and Kimmy was an absolute delight to talk to.
She addressed my problem immediately.

Bought a Wowcher Holiday. As this was a late booking and I needed to travel very quickly. I was super fast to redeem my voucher. Only after redeeming the voucher. The lies started to show.

I am still trying to get my money back from a company that has very dubious trading practices. I now think this is fraud. I have informed my credit card company. Purchase date was 23/11/2025. Still not been able to get my £1197.99 back.
I have now been advised to report it as fraud.

They took my money then informed there was no availability. I asked Sonica at travel makers to move my travel date slightly forward or backwards. She would look in to me getting the holiday I had purchased.

Even after moving the travel dates she could not provide my purchased resort.
As I had purchased this Wowcher holiday for the resort itself, Flying from Birmingham was a price worth paying for the holiday I wanted. But Travel Makers could not make this happen.

East Midlands being my local airport and preferred airport.

Wowcher purchase date 23rd Nov 2025 Travel date 5th Dec 2025. I was quite stressed when dealing with Travel Makers. Sonica off sick. Travel Makers say only Sonica is able to help me.
Sonica intermittently calls me with various other inferior holidays at higher prices, than other leading Travel Agents. I refuse and ask for my money back.

Wowcher say I can get a refund if I can get an email from Travel Makers saying my holiday is cancelled. When I try and get confirmation from Travel Makers they give me the hard pressure selling of other holidays. The price hike is per person for a holiday that look nothing like the one I had purchased.

Sonica sounded a nice sincere person, and I had believed her that my holiday was cancelled. But trying to get confirmation from Travel Makers is impossible. I booked a holiday with Love Holidays flying from my local airport(East Midlands) 5th Dec 2025 for £459 cheaper than Sonica and now others at Travel Makers were trying to force down my throat.

Even after 5th Dec 2025 they were trying all sorts of tactics to pressure me into buying a holiday that was not the one advertised.

Travel Makers have still not refunded my money. They would not provide an email saying my holiday was cancelled. They say they don't have my money.

They were still selling these holidays on Wowcher when they were telling me they have no availability.
When I brought this to the attention of Travel Makers

I was told that is up to Wowcher if they want to advertise thats up to them. And Wowcher has my money not travel makers.

Extremely disappointed.
About 10 minutes after booking my air ticket on this website, their agent phoned me to pay an extra 300Euro for baggage, as there is no free baggage allowence. When I refused to pay, he told me that the ticket will be issued only if I pay an extra 300 euro, which I refused and they did not issue me the ticket. My advice is to stay away from this website.

Great experience overall. The staff was professional, helpful, and efficient, and the company clearly prioritizes customer satisfaction.--

Purchased a deal via Wowcher titles 5* Prague stay which featured the Hilton Hotel. Upon purchasing the voucher, I was contacted by the travel agent confirming that the hotel was not available, and also offering flights to Prague arriving at 11pm and leaving at 6am only offering 1 full day. We were also offered a 4* Hotel. I would completely avoid booking through, complete scammers.

I spoke to a guy called Brett Castle who was extremely helpful. He was so understanding, professional and caring when it came to serving me as a customer. Im very happy to have had Brett save the day as I had a terrible experience previously with another staff called Jude. Brett was indeed a superstar - Im very grateful for him!

Absolute joke of a company.
Like previous reviews I stupidly purchased via wowcher.
Long story short after being told I needed to pay an extra £180 and refusing I have been ignored by this company and wowcher. I am entities to a full refund after looking into trading laws but when nobody responds to you I'm assuming they will just be keeping my money. I should have known better being a seasoned traveller that of something looks to good to be true it usually is!
If I could give zero stars I absolutely would! Steer well clear

Shocking service. Shocking establishment. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY or WOWCHER.
Neither company will refund my £387.99 payment taken on the 16th November 2025. Daily emails and WhatsApp messages from myself with attachments of voucher and copying in both organisations. They play you off each other. Total thieves. Do not use Clark, he is a total liar at The Travel Makers and doesn't follow through with conversations discussed on the telephone. You get blocked and ignored. The holiday you book is none existent and they up sell on to whatever you have supposedly booked. A total con. I will Always use Loveholidays and recommend this company for future bookings. Will NEVER use Wowcher or The Travel Makers again.

Bought via Wowcher and after having to contact this company myself, definitely was misleading to the advertised holiday, a flight to Malta with a stop at Barcelona, tried selling direct flights at a much higher cost and reducing the holiday to 4 nights instead of 5, very disappointed and waiting for a reply after 2 days regarding a refund Just read all the bad reviews on Facebook wish I had read before booking

I honestly can’t recommend Jude at Holiday The Travel Makers enough. From the very beginning, he was absolutely fantastic and made the whole booking experience smooth, easy, and completely stress-free. He took the time to really understand what I needed and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

Jude helped me book my flights and made sure I got the best possible options at a great price. On top of that, he also secured two park tickets for me at the best price available, which saved me both time and money. It was clear that he genuinely cared about getting me the best deal rather than just rushing through the booking.

What really stood out was how helpful, patient, and knowledgeable Jude was throughout the entire process. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident and happy with every part of the booking. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and his friendly, professional approach made the whole experience enjoyable.
