Timber King Ltd 

Like previous reviews my order did not arrive. All phone calls, emails and Facebook messages have been ignored. They have blocked me on Facebook.
I currently have a court claim against them which they are also yet to respond to.

A shame they would treat small businesses like this when the industry is struggling so much at the moment.

If only I had read these reviews first!!!

Placed a order 16th May 2021 over £400

No delivery, no communication, no response, only hopeful way to contact Timber king is via Facebook, however when faced with the reality of the situation I have now been blocked on all forms of communication it would seem.

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND MONEY SHOP ELSEWHERE

Very bad service, missing items for £60. no refund, no response.
Strongly recommend to avoid this company

Absolutely appalling! My Dad ordered nearly £500 worth of wood order number 24285.
I complained previously and they replied eventually but only delivered some of the wood. I am missing £37 worth of wood and can’t get in touch with the company and won’t give a refund.
DONT BUY FROM THEM THEYRE A SCAM AND I CANT FIND ANYONE WHO HAS HAD ALL OF THEIR ORDER DELIVERED
I will be going down the legal route and contacting trading standards

Absolutely shocking company to try and do business with. I ordered £500 worth of shiplap 6 weeks ago after been told stock was available. Then heard nothing and after 4 weeks of finally chasing, I had a voicemail saying they could supply a different size, which I replied by text. Then nothing again for another 2 weeks and now they are completely ignoring me on Facebook, messenger, their phone message service and email. I even have the mobile number of someone called Tom but he never answers his phone or any text. The worst company I have ever tried to deal with…shocking. Thank god I never gave a deposit but reading all the reviews their are plenty of people that have and now going through a legal approach to get their money back. Don’t waste your time with Timber King!

Timber King delivered on time and I’m really pleased with the quality of the material too. I won’t hesitate to use them again.

I ordered nearly 600 quid of timber it was delivered early hours in the morning at 6 o’clock approximately whilst I was still asleep, did not contact me to say it was being delivered on the morning and after it been delivered it was the wrong material. After phoning in and emailing repeatedly with no contact back I am now left with material that is not suitable for what I intended and 600 quid out of pocket so if you do decide to use and make sure you pay with a credit card to your protected because I only use the debit card.

Not sure how Timber King is still in business given my experience:

1. Delivery not made on date specified
2. Order was short of the timber I needed to start the job
3. After delivery, I noted wood was not graded (not min C16 as stated on the website)
4. Also noted they had swapped 4x2 with 5x2 which I couldn’t use
5. Asked for my bank details to refund wrong delivery and told me had been processed only to discover it hadn’t
6. No comms since hence why I’ve given them long enough to rectify the situation before writing a review

Phone number is never responded to, emails never responded to whilst Facebook messenger responded to occasionally.

I see the business is months old so if my experience is anything to go by it will be interesting to see if it is still around for its 1st anniversary!

Some of the timber prices appear too good to be true but unfortunately I wish I would have paid a little more to guarantee getting what I needed, the quality required and delivery when I needed it.

1st delivery a couple of months ago was delayed more than once, but I put this down to supply and demand.It must be hard sourcing materials in this present climate. 2nd order was placed and delivered within 24 hours without any problems. Fair play Timberking, overall very happy

Placed order, delivery turned up 5 days later completely unannounced at 6.30am. Good job I was in. Driver was excellent (This is where they have gained the all important 1 star). Items were short and marked to follow. Several weeks on items still not with me despite trying every communication channel with them. Now resorting to card dispute and small claims court. Will also report to Trading Standards. Avoid. Shocking lack of communication.

They advertise all over Facebook and have a glossy website. It is a sham. They block you on their instant messaging widget and ignore emails. I now appear to be blocked from posting on their Facebook page. They delete negative feedback on their Facebook page.

Complete scammers! Took my order & I paid in advance which was a mistake as not all of my order was delivered. I took a day off to accept the delivery but at 10:42 on the day I got a text saying it would be arriving the next day. When it did arrive I was 14 4x2 4.8mtr short which I was told would arrive a few days later. It never arrived. They don't answer the published phone number & don't reply to any voicemail left. Any queries have to go through their ticketing system (which has a default font colour of white so you can't read it) and you can't send another message until they've replied to your last message. I'm down about £125. I've reported them to trading standards & Facebook & will be persuing them through small claims court

Great service as always from Timberking along with very competitive prices. I run a busy outdoor building company and we wouldn’t go anywhere else for our cladding.

We placed our order with Timber King on Friday 23 April and have received our order today Tuesday 27 April. Excellent service and the quality of the timber is also excellent. We would definitely recommend this company.

Had my order delivered, Chris the delivery man is great, started to unload my order on his own, 4m plus lengths, & took them into the garden, top class service, credit to timber king.
Quality materials, just need to improve communications, didn’t know my delivery was coming until the morning, but was called before hand, so no real complaints.
Definitely use again😀

Great service. Acknowledgement of order and then a few days later a confirmed delivery date was received. Phone call on morning of delivery advising of change of lengths due to stock availability. Text with arrival time and then Chris arrived and unloaded with no fuss. Will definitely be my go-to supplier of cladding in the future

Absolutely shocking service. Placed an order on 28th March over £500, now 4 weeks on and still nothing received. Good luck trying to get through to anyone, live chat messages are read and then completely ignored. Telephone numbers are constantly diverted to answerphone, again no attempt at a response from the 'company'. After 4 weeks of trying to contact them to find out what's happening I've been left with no choice but to report them to trading standards and file a claim for the return of my money with my credit card company. Don't let their Facebook page fool you, if you keep an eye on the posts they make you will notice they quickly delete any complaints or angry reactions from people who are in similar positions to many of the customers below. For all those who have also received such an awful service I strongly advise you to report them to trading standards also. As the company are breaching the consumer rights act by breaking the contract of not sending items within the 30 day timeline. The more reports trading standards receive the more chance we've got of stopping this shambolic company from trading ASAP! Avoid this company and pay a little extra to purchase from a reputable company with actual contact methods not Facebook messenger!

Well first things first this company is shocking. I ordered some C24 timber after being advised what to go for by them, when my delivery arrived 28 pieces of 4x2 were missing and when the 6x2 was in the garden I noticed it was officially stamped as C16 graded. I've had no apology or even recognition of the problem, its almost impossible to contact them as other reviews have stated, they have a phone number that is never answered, a contact form email that I had a reply from but nothing since, FB messenger that I have had a 2/10 reply from and absolutely no idea of if I am going to get the 4x2 I ordered on the 5th April or a resolution to the incorrect strength grading. I'm now 10 days after the build was due to start with no way of knowing what is happening, I have started transaction disputes with my credit card company and also filed a mis-representation report with trading standards as they are selling or were (they have removed them from the website which is interesting) C24 as C16 timber. There is no excuse for reading messages and not replying, Covid or not we've been used to this for well over a year now and they are in a business that is fully open, I will also be filing for compensation with the delayed works. Worst company I have ever come across so have a read of some of the other reviews and make a decision for yourself but my advice is if you want what you've ordered or helpful people if something goes wrong don't buy here!!!!!

Good price and sleepers are generally good quality. However there was one short but there has been no reply to my messages. The delivery was quick and apart from the one missing sleeper all was okay.
