Worst experience!
Worst experience!! My flights got cancelled due to corona, so they removed their phone number from the web and made extremely difficult to contact them. The date I was supposed to fly passed and still I had no news from them. After several months they just gave me a voucher to book with them again within one year, without asking my opinion, which is against the law. I replied to the email but again they told me I had to start a new querie. I started a new querie and they say the might take 21 days to reply (last time they said they will take 21 days it was 3 months). I´m waiting for my money since April and I´m losing faith. This company is totally bad, do not book with them, it´s a fraud.
Worst service ever
Worst service ever. I have been trying to contact TIX for more than a month to request a refund and no one answers, neither by phone nor by email. I have contacted the involved airlines and both have told me that the refund request has to be made by the TIX agency because the payment has been made in cash (very surprised about that). Has someone managed to contact the TIX agency?
It being very frustrating to see that the canceled holidays are approaching and not being able to recover the money from an agency, that does not pick up the phone claiming that it is saturated, when I have read thousands of comments and nobody has managed to contact them ... saturated with what?
Scam
My Emirates flight was canceled during COVID-19.
After moths of emails they sent automatic reply that I get only voucher for one year to use with them.
I replied that not acceptable, not in accordance with law.
After moths got response that I will get money, minus their fees for processing, and much dealing with this, and money are on way.
After weeks still no money arrived.
I will need to follow up with legal action soon.
Impossible to contact Tix
Impossible to contact Tix. No phone number. They do not respond to e-mail.
They owe me ± €1000 for a flight that was rescheduled. The airplane company should have paid them within 7 days. Never heard of Tix again. I will never book with them again.
Update: after about 3 months Tix finally has payed (most of) the money back.
Total incompetent company
I bet you that they are going to file for bankcrupty. The airline has informed us that they have transferred the refund for our flight to Tix. And this total fail of a company has the audacity to 1. NOT REPLY TO OUR HUNDREDS OF EMAILS, 2. GIVE US A VOUCHER WITHOUT GIVING US THE OPTION TO CHOOSE and 3. DECLINE TO ANSWER PHONECALLS. I have never felt so deceived. The times they did replied to my emails and phonecalls (at the very beginning of all this COVID-19 hassle) I was being very polite. But they don't deserve any politeness anymore. Screw this company.
Have my money but are unreachable
United refunded the money to them, they did not pass the refund on to me and they are COMPLETELY UNREACHABLE. Many others are in the same situation, and yet they CONTINUE SELLING FLIGHTS.
NO COMMUNICATION AND REFUND POSSIBLE WITH THE TIX TRAVEL GROUP
Our outbound flight was cancelled by the airline at the beginning of June. The airline has stated to us that we should receive a full refund of all monies paid for the tickets (more than EUR 3,100.00), confirming that the full amount that they received will be refunded to us back through the Tix Travel Group.
Our attempts to communicate to the Tix Travel Group to confirm that we have received notification from the airline that our flights have now been cancelled and that we expect a full refund from them have been:
- via webform (message cannot be sent, because our Trip-ID number is invalid, yet our flights still show active under 'Your Next Trip')
- via email (automatic response received by email with link to same form above, where still the Trip-ID cannot be inputted!)
- via telephone (numbers no longer in service)
The Tix Travel Group has broken off all forms of contact with its customers.
The COVID-19 outbreak has brought out the best and the worst in companies, including among the worst are the online travel agencies.
The Tix Travel Group (operating in many European countries via the Tix, Flighttix and worldwide via the Gate1 websites) has left thousands of its customers with their concerns and questions unanswered and, by following social media and consumer forum complaints, it is obvious that the Tix Travel Group are delaying refunding their customers by many, many months.
But what you get from the Tix Travel Group is eventually not a refund at all. It's a travel voucher for an amount less than what you originally paid to them, because this company doesn't believe that their product service charges are refundable in times like these. This travel voucher is valid for 1 year to exchange for new flights via their site.
The Tix Travel Group is 'non-aligned' (in the Netherlands for example, no ANVR or SGR membership, not even an IATA badge). When you accept their travel voucher, you become an unsecured creditor to them and if this company collapses, you will lose all your money.
If you originally paid with iDeal, you will need to pursue a refund via Legal Assistance Insurance. If you were sensible and used Mastercard or Visa credit card to pay for your flights, then you need to pursue the Tix Travel Group directly via your credit card company or bank.
If your airline has cancelled your flight/s or changed their schedule to outside a certain time frame (check your airline's terms and conditions referring to involuntary schedule changes), then you are allowed a full refund of the original amount paid. This is EU law. Once the (online) travel agency has received the refund from the airline, they must repay it to you within 7 DAYS.
We do not intend to sit still and wait 3-4 months to receive an ‘I-owe-you’ note in the form of a voucher from the Tix Travel Group and once we receive confirmation from the airline that this agency has received our refund, we will allow them under EU law, 7 working days to refund the full amount back to our credit card. If it is not received by then, we intend to pursue these people by all means necessary to reclaim OUR money.

Booked flight thru them, in february my flight was cancelled and I sign that it will be REFUNDED. After waiting 4 months, with no answers and no money refunded Im really desperate. I communicate with airlines and they claimed that MY MONEY WAS REFUNDED AT 31.March. Today after silence i recieve a vouncher to book again on gate1. I DONT KNOW IF I HAVE TO LAUGH OR CRY. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. They have no telephone number, I dont believie they have so many customers due to coronavirus that they cant communicate with me for 4 month. Im less important? with my stolen 1700Euros? PLEASE NEVER BOOK AGAIN

Really poor customer service. It's almost impossible to get in touch with them. Wouldn't recommend to anybody.
Airline reimburses my ticket and TIX keeps the money.
I bought my tickets on tix.es - it is the same company and understandably you will receive the same experience as myself.
I bought two flights with Tix for Easter and they were canceled by the Corona Virus. I'm going to number the problems I've had:
1. They have no support, there is no phone to call. There is an online form and it can take up to 21 days to respond.
2. My flights were with American Airlines. I spoke with the airline and they confirmed that when they were canceled they were going to refund the full amount of the tickets to the agency. I have not seen this money.
3. It took Tix more than 2 months to answer the claim and they have now sent me a VOUCHER to spend on their page. So they are keeping the money that the airline has reimbursed them.
4. The value of the voucher is less than the price of the flight. I interpret the difference as their commission. It is inconceivable that I will not be reimbursed the full amount, or at least what the airline has returned.
His way of working is unethical and I think it borders on illegality. They are keeping the money that the Airline reimbursed me.

Same as other users here below: I bought a flight with Tix that later was canceled cause the coronavirus. I contacted the flight company and said they already refunded but Tix does not return me my money, its phone number does not take any call and they don't reply to my emails.

Agree with @Camilla below, TIX.nl isn't responsive at all to any support ticket emails. I first contacted them on 13-March to request a refund (when all flights stopped between US and Europe). No reply. 2nd mail, no reply, 3rd email. I even emailed their management team (several people on LinkedIn) - no reply. British Airways cancelled the flight to the US (no surprise there). Yet TIX.nl continue to act like nothing has happened, sending an automated email that they are not taking any responsibility. Shame on you TIX!
