On hold for ever. Massive bill

Couldn't fly because Europeans couldn't transit true the US.
Called them 33min on hold and then cut phone off. Called again 29min on hold then they cut me off. Called again 38min on hold finally got someone on the phone, she was finished within 45seconds. Now I have a phonebill over €70.

FRAUD - Somebody sue this socalled travel agency

FRAUD - Fake tickets
I don't know how this "company" managed to get into SkyScanner, which I fully trusted until now. I paid a quite big amount of money for a round trip from Athens to Zurich. My departure flight happened successfully. My flight back was a great joke, with a fake reference number of 7 numbers instead of 6. After trying to reach them by phone, emails and the contact form on their website (!) I realised they are just a great fraud.

NEVER BOOK HERE AGAIN

With two friends I made a booking via their site, everything looked allright. We also included the premium service package and insurance.

Eventually my friend was diagnosed with an illness, which the doctors recommended him not to go other countries due to the risk of getting covid.

I tried to contact Tix, but the number they provided did not work. When you dialed the number a voice said: We are not able to help you please fill in a form on our website bye.

I tried to cancel the tickets with the airlines themselves, but that was not possible because tix made the bookings. Therefore I was also not able to reschedule flights.

I am outraged by what they call 'service'.

I also haven't had any response from them since august.

HAs anyone else received a refund email…

HAs anyone else received a refund email from TIX.nl, and then it dissapeared from your mailbox?

I cannot find several of their emails in my mailbox, particularly the ones that come with alternatives, where you have to click on a blue button to proceed.

I havent received refund for my tickets bought in April, I paid for all insurances.

Then the insurance company they used, advised me to buy two tickets... I couldnt use this ones as well... also lost those ones, I bought those as unrefundable, thinking i was going to use them as well... lost 4 tickets.. with a value of 2k+ Euros :(

sucks when the small guy for the unexpected events like this pandemia.... Things wouldve been less bad, if they couldve just reply with normal specific emails, instead of the standard copy paste alternative they used...

TIX.nl and Gate1 unreachable

I have booked a flight trough gate1.nl (which is part of Tix.nl) and due to corona my flight was supposed to be rescheduled. I have tried to contact them a couple of times for the new date, but each time I get a standard message that due to corona a reaction will take a longer time. However, I need to get my flight confirmed asap. Furthermore its just not possible to contact gate1/tix.nl. Its VERY frustrating. I suspect they wait just before flight date, so that they can charge high flight rates. VERY UNHAPPY

For flight cancellations due to covid…

For flight cancellations due to covid we are still being charged 55Euros as administration charges by tix group although airlines have refunded the credit. After several follow ups, they did not honour my refund. Also they cannot be reached out over phone. I am not booking any tickets directly with Tix group.

SHAMEFUL BOOKING SISTEM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

TIX.es is a company that I do not recommend to anyone. I'm close to calling it a scam.
In addition to having a poor reservation system, their customer service department doesn't do their job, nor is honest or fair with the customer.

Here's what happened to me:
- I bought a round trip between Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca on September 17th to travel on October 1st and return on the 4th.
- On the same day, September 17th, I received confirmation of my round trip reservation, and also the reservation number on my outbound flight.
- Everything was fine until October 3rd, when I looked for information to check in for my return trip. I couldn't find the email they said they would send with the reservation number so I could check in. It wasn't in spam or anywhere else, they hadn't sent it. I tried to call them several times on Saturday October 3rd but the only number they have did not work.
- On Sunday October 4th (the day of the return flight) I still hadn't received any information from Tix, so I decided to call Iberia and Vueling to see if they had registered me and that it was just an email problem the reason I hadn't received my reservation number before. They both told me they didn't have me registered for this flight.
- I then sent a first message at 9:16 via the Tix contact form explaining the problem and the urgency, as I was flying in 10 hours. Also, I told them that if they didn't give me my flight information now, I was going to have to buy another ticket myself to make sure I didn't miss the flight.
- At 12:51, I still had no answer from Tix and as I only had 6 hours left before the flight, I had to make the decision to buy a new ticket and let Tix know about it.
- At 15:45, that is 3-4 hours before the flight, is when they answered me for the first time, sending me the reservation number for my flight, telling me that here was the data to check in and nothing else. No apology message, no reference to the fact that I had already had to buy another ticket 3 hours before, nothing about the fact that maybe they had screwed up or that the system had not worked as it should.
- On the same day, at 11:15 pm, I wrote to them again to ask for a refund of the ticket I had to buy urgently, attaching the proof of purchase of the new ticket and with my bank details to process a refund.
- The next day, Monday October 5th, I received an email, in English, saying that if I had to cancel a flight, I could not get my money back because my trip was with a low-cost company. 1) This was not my problem, I did not have to cancel anything. I just couldn't travel as planned because of Tix. 2) They answer me in English when we have been speaking in Spanish and I have the feeling that the person who answered did not understand anything I said in Spanish.
- The same day I translated my initial email to them in English to see if they would understand it better.
- 3 days later I received an automatic response in Spanish and another in English saying that they were going to look at it, which can take 30 days.

It's to go crazy. They screwed up on all levels. And the only thing I ask them is to give me back the money for the flight that I had to pay, no extra compensation.
If the system that manages the reservations has a problem, I don't want to blame them personally, these things happen, but at least they have to be fair with me too and not pretend nothing happened.

Waiting for more then half a year…

Waiting for more then half a year already on reimbursement of a flight planned in March, right after the Corona virus hit (booked at Gate1, part of the Tix group). Constantly hear that they are doing their best to getting the money back, no further information. Only words, no action. I’ll never book with them anymore.

I thought Gotogate was the worst online…

I thought Gotogate was the worst online travel agency but the beach is shared ex-aequo with Tix or even dethrone it. This is my story:
Like many here, tickets bought for September, New Zealand through China, because of Covid, everything is canceled but in fact they do not even bother to write to you to warn, I knew it a little by chance but let's move on.
They have disabled absolutely all their phone lines in all countries so it is literally impossible to have an agent. A dozen of unanswered emails. A miracle happens, great, I receive an email. But my joy was short-lived. They send me directly a voucher valid only on their website, whereas my 10 emails specified the opposite. I just wanted to be reimbursed on my credit card because I wanted to avoid at all costs to have to deal with them again. Radio silence for weeks, predictable. I decide to use this voucher reluctantly for a round trip ticket to Japan with Air France. I had also to pay extra 150€ from my pocket whereas on the Air France website it was much cheaper. I order this ticket on 31/08. And the surprises began. While I obviously specified the airport I was interested in (the same for the return) and selected the flights I wanted to take (screenshots as a proof) just figure that on the 1st confirmation email, it is the other airport instead. As with them you have to take every precaution, I screened each step during the reservation. The email also indicates that the reception of the electronic tickets will take place until September 5th. In the meantime, as it has not been issued, I sent them few emails asking them to rectify their mistake with the screens as a proof. Of course no answer at all and I've finally received the electronic tickets on the 4/9 with the wrong airport regarding the first trip.
Although I took a changeable ticket, which is perfectly confirmed on the Air France website in the fare conditions of my flight, it is simply impossible to make the change online on AF's website (whereas usually all the tickets I take from agencies), I manage to make the modifications I want without making phone calls to anyone) so it's impossible to know by what subterfuge they managed to make this trick. On the other hand their website (tix) specifies that for any modification, there is a 55€ fee apart from the fare difference. Luckily I had the idea to go through the KLM application and there I was able to make the change on my own, paying 70€ of fare difference (whereas the basic flight was much cheaper on the Air France website) but I'm happy to have paid 70€ instead of 125€ through them.
So finality: I paid 220€ more at Tix, for absolutely nothing, not counting their most dishonest procedures, absolutely no communication nor solutions to any problem nor any refund nor any answer to the questions.
So if you want the most sincere advice: SEE THIS AGENCY like the plague and just DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. It was the worst decision I've made sice I bought my first ticket from them, thinking that I had saved money, but the stress it caused is so not worth it, not to mention the loss of time and money afterwards. Please just AVOID, this agency is a scam and a shame !

Very bad experience with the refund of…

Very bad experience with the refund of my cancelled flight due to covid-19. It's been two months since the departure date and we still don't have any money or any update from them.

If you try to contact TIX it's almost impossible neither by phone or e-mail.

I won't use this agency again. If ya can avoid it, It will be safer.

****U P D A T E
To be fair with them, I have to admit they finally gave back the money, we had to insist a lot with any answer from them. Its a happy ending but a very bad experience with two month of silence and no a way to contact with them.

Good service during COVID19

Due to the Corona virus our flights to Bali got cancelled. It took long for Tix te reply which I understand in this situation. Tix offered us a voucher which we refused. Again it took a while to get a reply however we received a reply that we will receive a refund.

A lot of negative reviews here are due to impatient people. You have to understand that this is an exceptional situation that Tix has to deal with. Be patient and don't flood them with hundreds of e-mails it will only take longer for everyone that way.
