T-Mbile Trust Issues

I went into T-Mobile to get the free IPhone 16 advertised by them. I was advised by the sales rep that I could get it but would have to go to the Go5G 55 Plus Plan to get it. Was adamantly advised that it would not cost any more a month then the 55+ plan I already had. I wanted to upgrade to the iPhone Pro plus I was told by the sales rep to do. This would cost me an extra $14 a month. Three times I ask him to repeat it that all I was gonna be charged is $14 more a month and he said absolutely yes. When I got my first bill, my charge went up by $60. I contacted Customer Service who advised me that the additional $60 was correct and legal so I was actually stuck with that amount. My advice to anyone doing business with TMobile is to record the transaction manually so that you have proof when the sales reps decide to lie to you.

Tmobile and Employee

This Review is Specifically for an Employee at T-Mobile. Shahzeb Sheikh. His title is Business Account Expert but should be SCAM EXPERT! Shahzeb called me to advise me that my business account had been assigned to him and he offered me TWO IPhone 16 Pro trading in Two IPhone 12 Pro for the cost of $20.00 more per month on the 4 lines we have with T-Mobile. When I received my bill the cost for the two phones were over $80 per month plus he added to additional phone lines which I did not agree to and was never discussed. I tried getting help from TMobile corporate and was told an Escalation Team Member would call me within 48 hours. This never happened. I even set up a conference call with Rep which he failed to show up for. Finally I went to a corporate store and had a local rep undo everything that had been done to my account without my permission. Buyer beware TMobile employs Scam artists and once they get you it is very difficult to undo what they do to your account.

Tech deleted my primary number because I told him the service was bad

I had bad customer service on chat and I let the person know. To spite me they deleted the primary number from my account. It changed to a random number without my knowledge. I didn't realize it until a couple of days later. It tooke me 7+ hours of phone calls over the course of 3 days to resolve the issue. This act of revenge by the tech worked. My family and work needed me and it caused problems in my personal life.

Randomly dropped my phone from their network

I have been with T mobile for almost two years using the same device. A Blackview 8800pro. My phone worked perfectly the entire time I was with T-Mobile until three weeks ago. I have gone into their stores, I have spoken to 5 different tech support staff a customer support staff and a supervisor. I have spoken to Christina, Isaiah, Burt, David, and Avery in Tech support, I have spoke to Malik in Customer support, and Brandon his supervisor.

I was given a 125 dollar ticket at the military base that I work at for not being able to show proof of insurance, because I always had it in my email, because I always had cellular data to access the Internet. As of three weeks ago, I get dropped calls, no cellular data, no cellular service and they victim blamed me for having a phone that is partially compatible with their network. A network that worked fine for 18 months then just stopped. My phone is only two years old. It is my fault for using the phone that works for me. It is my fault for wanting to use a phone that I want to use. It is my fault that I didn't have a paper copy of my insurance card because with USAA I have to renew every three months. It is my fault that the phone I want to use is failing putting my life in danger if I can't call my wife when ice is all over the road and let her know I'm safe, just going to be late. It is my fault that I may not be able to call 9-1-1 or my insurance if I am in an accident because their network decided to not work with the phone I paid for and their website says it is compatible with.

To say that I am disappointed is an absolute understatement. To say that I am angry is an understatement. I am paying for a service that I can not get any help with. They want me to buy a new phone through their company and punish me for wanting to use a phone that I want.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

We recently got Tmobile for their deal…

We recently got Tmobile for their deal for free phones, and thought their internet would be good judging from the ads popping up on TV. LITTLE DID WE KNOW this was a big mistake and we are hardly receiving any internet connection from the router and receiving random messages from other people.

I was cheated…

I purchased a phone with Tmobile with the understanding that after having paid $108 and after 30 days, the phone would be unlocked.
This was not the case, when I went back to the Tmobile store the sale person said that at the time of sale he may have quoted a wrong information but he could not do anything about it unless I continued paying the monthly subscription.

Beware - NO FRAUD PROTECTION

0 STARS I have had T-Mobile for less than 2 years and my account has been compromised twice. This last time, I received a letter from a collection agency claiming that I owe $$$. I did my own investigation at my own cost into this issue, and it is easy to see that the person who has opened these fraudulent accounts under a bogus name and address is a career criminal and t-mobiles fraud department has declared the bogus account to be legit. I have gone to t-mobiles corporate level, and they also continue to claim the account is legit. Understand that this individual who fraudulently open this bogus account would have had to of used my social security number and or manipulated t-mobile to open this account. t-mobile will not release any information in respects to the bogus account. They would not even give me the phone number they assigned to the bogus account. I did obtain the phone number through my own investigation and was able to find the culprits history of numerus phone accounts (26). So, with all said I will first close my t-mobile account. Second, I will pay the demanded amount to the collection agency, and third I will sue t-mobile for all expenses and inconveniences that have incurred due to their negligence.

Truly awful customer service

Truly awful customer service. An order went sideways on four new phones. Delivery couldn't be made so phones were tied up for over two weeks. Their customer service team could not give me any info and offered ZERO solutions. It's incredible to me that this happens in 2024. I am a perfect customer who pays on time and never complains about a thing. But this has gone too far, what an absolute joke.

I really hate t mobiles customers…

I really hate t mobiles customers service people. I get put on long holds, they have sent me in circles searching for information on the breakdown of how I am charged for fees that no one can seem to explain. The manager has been rude and thinks it is ok to raise her voice and talk over me and refuses to let me explain what is going on, tells me to accept the truth. I have been on the phone for about 3 hours going through nonsense along with a headache. I have already reported t mobile to the FCC and I have spoken to the President all the past crap I have been through. I am going to have to contact the President of T mobile and the FCC. What a waste of my time with these people!

Can I give zero stars

Can I give zero stars? The ABSOLUTE WORST Customer service ever. I am going through fraud investigations with them because someone opened an account under my name in march 2024. By end of April the ASSURED me it was taken care of and it was closed. Now it's on my credit report I had to go to Police Department and fill out report and now wait for them to go thru investigation. Waste of my time as a business owner worst decision ever to go to T-mobile. Also their service is terrible.

Poor Customer Service

I have been a Tmobile customer since 2021. Called today to get all 3 phones upgraded. I was advisedit would be a $70.89 upfront fee and $16.67 monthly added to my bill for each line. I advised them I could go to Verizon for the same service bill each month and get 3 new phones at "NO" upfront cost or additional added to my monthly bill. They said well we do hate to see you go, but we have no promotions going on. Tmobile is more concerned with the dollar than Customer Loyalty! Goodbye Tmobile!

SCAM ARTISTS AND CON ARTISTS!

SCAM ARTISTS AND CON ARTISTS!! I have been using tmobile home internet in our camper since 2023. I went with this option because I was told by multiple employees including the store manager that I could take it on the road to use in multiple locations as I live in my camper. For $55 a month I couldn't complain. I have been using this for over a year with NO issues and now am being told I need to pay 2.9 times more ($160 on autopay) for their new "away plan" for the EXACT same service I have been using. The home internet will now be geo locked to one location so you can't take it anywhere. The rich have to stay rich and they will find ways to make more money for providing the same service

Costco rebate debockle

We purchased 2 phones at Costco. Were promised that in our area service would be great. Well, people often cant get ahold of us and when they do there are so many dropped calls. Also, we bought from Costco in May and it is October and I still don't have my rebate gift cards. I have called 3 times and been given the run around. I truly believe that if I did not keep calling to check on the the f'ing status, they would just not send it. Ridiculous that I have to keep calling and it still takes 6 months to get a gift card that was promised at time of purchase. Sales rep at Costco also misrepresented this promotion and led us to believe it would only take a few weeks to get the cards. He has not responded to my phone calls.

I canceled my 5g router

I canceled my 5g router days in advance before my next billing cycle because I moved and the service no longer works at my new place. The amount of unprofessionalism and incompetence is ridiculous and shouldn’t be tolerated by any customer. I was told a full refund of my bill was not possible even though when I canceled my service over the phone and got email conformation about my cancellation. I also asked the representative over the phone if I was all set and good to go with my account being closed and she confirmed that all I need to do was return my device and that I canceled the account. After all of that to my surprise I was billed for the next month after I spoke and canceled my plan. The representatives on the phone told me they can’t issue a full refund and the best they could do is give me a portion of it in 2 weeks! Worst company on the planet and should be out of business a long time ago
