I love TGTG and use it very often. It's a great way to get cheap food or try new restaurants and bakeries or get food when I'm not in the mood to cook. The only downside is that it seems as if people... See more

usually all the deals in my area are sold out. I was awake at 1:00 am so i snagged this produce bag from Whole foods. It was easy to pick up and it was packed with 7 different items. All good stuff. We didn't get to one box of squash until Monday and it went bad, but everything else was great.

I put in my order for brick lane bagel . Drove 20 minutes to lakeside at the said time . The place was shut . I banged on the shutters as told to do so , no one answered . Waste of a journey and petrol . At least have the decency to let you know if they are going to have no staff at the place .

First time
First time doing this. I think it’s at great idea. I overheard store staff wishing they were not doing this. Weren’t very knowledgeable in the process and staff seemed annoyed to try to figure it out

It was the first time using the app and the lady at the restaurant was so nice and helpful. Was not sure how they might react to people using the app, but so friendly and the portion and food was so good!

First bag fail
I tried to get my first bag and the store was closed when I got there. Obviously there’s a disconnect between TGTG and store hours. It was disappointing. Maybe I’ll try again. Extra star because more stores are being added often. Hard to get bags though.
Editing to add: I did not receive any cancellation notification. Additionally, two other people were there trying to pick up an order also.

The food was good and I appreciate the no food waste idea. With the tough times people are facing this concept is welcoming news to my ears.
All went as planned.
A basket containing only bread
A basket containing only bread; the quality and taste are mediocre. I do not recommend this "bakery".

2nd time flowers & plants received were dead or lived only a day.
It was unclear where to pick up the flowers that I purchased. I got there right at the pick up time and they did not have any bags ready. They called somebody from the floral area who put two items in a bag and stapled it. When I got home, 3/4 of the small bunch of flowers were dead and the baby palm plant in the pot looked like it was dying as well. I’m still in the process of trying to see if I can save that plant.

The purpose of Too Good to Go is to not let food go to waste. Mikan Sushi Bento actually made something for me that was so substandard while I waited. The picture shown on the website plus the original price was entirely different than what I got. The website showed a variety of sushi. I got exactly 5 pieces of California rolls.

This app is great for two reasons
This app is great for two reasons. First, it is helping restaurants become more efficient with excess food and second it helps the consumer save money.
